Came here for my birthday because the music seemed great. Ordered beers for my group and a hookah, but wow, the service was incredibly bad. As soon as I walked in and placed our order, a transformer blew and the power went out. I thought, "Dang, no worries, it can happen to anyone." We quickly finished our beers and decided to leave. Since we had only paid the $20 cover about 20 minutes earlier, I asked if my group and I could get a refund. The man working the door just laughed in my face and told me to go to "Miami-Dade" for that. Confused, I said, "Miami-Dade?" He clarified and said, "You'll have to go to Only in Dade for that," then laughed again. I just said, "Okay," and walked away. I'm not really used to going out to nightclubs anymore and thought this would be a fun birthday spot, but that interaction was honestly shocking, rude, and confusing. I was in invited out for the Patty Tour and had a very cute time. I enjoyed Jamaican passed bites. Patties and wings and good music and strong drinks! I opted for the spicy Marg and they were sooo good! This is my second time at an event here which I've enjoyed both times. Very nice indoor outdoor venue which matters since we had to move inside when the rain came pouring down. The staff was quick and efficient with the pivot, and the party went on. I went there this past Friday for the first time recommended by someone. We started to order the house liquor which normally cost $12 and was completely fine with that by one of the bartenders. Ordered a few rounds with one and everything was fine. When I went to the other side and ordered with the brunette, I ordered the same thing and ordered the same drink and when I got the bill it said $20. The girl told me it was don julio and I told her that's not what I ordered. She said that she only had 2 types of tequila which was a complete lie. I paid and I told her that was the last time I would buy anything from the bar. The next thing I see, the brunette went over to the other bartender looking upset and coaching her on what to do. This place only will give you the option of more expensive drinks instead of the actual supply that they carry because they only care about profit. Classic bait and switch. We participated in the Wynwood Cinco de Mayo Bar Crawl from 5PM-11PM. A $30 ticket included 5 bars with 1 free drink and free entry at each. Unfortunately, the free drink at each of these bars included a cheap liquor (whisky, tequila, vodka, or rum) and 1 mixer (Sprite, Coke, cranberry juice, or OJ). We had fun but wish we had more options for the drinks! We couldn't even order a margarita. We arrived to Electric Lady at 8PM and stayed for about 1 hour. This is our second time here. Long wait for drinks but had a fun time here with friends! I made sure to bring my own water bottle this time, so that I didn't have to pay for water. Music was great and cool atmosphere! Came here to an event in the outside part. The outside bar is HORRIBLE. Their drinks are extremely watered down and I truly believe they add water to their bottles. Their reposado was near to clear instead of being lighter brown. I paid for two shots of casamigos (the cheaper option) and paid $42 and I can guarantee there was no alcohol. It was my first drink and so the excuse of "oh you were drunk" cannot be used. We told the bartender and she told me it was my fault because I asked for them chilled. That shouldn't change the taste or the level of alcohol if you're doing it right. Additionally, the shots were put in a medicine cup, probably half the size of a normal shot. $42!!! They also only had Modelo, Corona, and Heineken. I tried to go to inside portion to see if they had more options and they ousted us outside saying we had to go around and pay cover to the other side. This place is committed robbery. Stay far away. Also I wanted to add that the bartenders had us hand pick our limes out of their container... gross. She also mentioned there was nothing she could do about our shots because the "cameras were watching." read more

I came with four friends, one being a friend of mine, who was dressed, extremely beautiful and gorgeous, but was told she could not come in because she was a man dressed as a girl, and that this location was not a "drag place." we were all wearing basically the same thing, but somehow the security had an issue with my friend.. not only was the staff extremely rude, but when asked to speak to the manager, but instead I was told to step aside... but it did not make sense to me that this place holds a "dress code" while they have these bartenders half naked..... We didn't know what their intentions were, but def not good. Me and my friend came here last night for a little while. After around an hour, the owners/bouncers would not let us leave. We complained and they pushed one of us physically when we tried shoving the back door open. This is not okay and we definitely felt scared. We do not recommend.
