The breakfast was great everyday. Service was great. 5. The $30 per day parking... RIDICULOUS! $30 x7 = $210. We could have ubered for less and saved the hassle. I would not have rented a car if I had known. That should be a part of the resort fee. 6. Great location as far as Fort Lauderdale goes. Close to beach, restaurants, etc. But it was our 2nd time to Lauderdale... still not a fan. 7. Although there are signs saying "No outside alcohol" thank god we were able to bring in our own. Probably wouldn't have made it through the whole stay.

Everything was fantastic except wish the shower was a bit larger and there was no clothes line to hang bathing suits. Queen beds were nice and soft and what a view! The pool area had one pool and two hot tubs, Man it was nice! Hard to find seats though, so do come early. Had the most relaxing time there and my girl didn't want to leave. It was heated for my January visit and ate lunch there too. Nothing to write home about and is $, but can you expect from a resort. The beach was across the street and as part of your resort fee, it includes two loungers and umbrella. Score! Unlike other resorts that you have to pay (like Marriott Harbor Beach). Wish had more time to enjoy the beach, but went right back up to the pool. Main breakfast restaurant doesn't offer buffet so it's Ala carte menu and it sure did take some time to get our food. It was good but pricey. They have a market at the lobby, so that's a good alternative. The uber from port to here wasn't cheap though same with going to airport, but highly recommend for those seeking a nice resort vibe with oceanfront views and beach access.

We arrived around 9 am after our cruise, and our assigned upgraded room (suite) was not ready. The front desk receptionist, Dominique, was most helpful and gave us 5 star service in looking for a room with a balcony that was available for us. She found one and upgraded us to an ocean front. It was truly the BEST ocean front room we have ever had in Ft Lauderdale and Miami. I would have loved to stay longer just to enjoy the view more. We had a mini-suite, versus the regular suite which would not have had the balcony. Room 1715. Big shower, comfortable sitting chair, large balcony with cushioned chairs and table, Lavazza coffee, ironing board. We were so close, we could hear the ocean waves. Pool was fine. Hot tub. By the pool were cushioned lounge chairs and umbrellas, but some of the cushions were flat. A pool attendant said new cushions were on order for next year, so it would be better. A shout-out to the pool attendant who dragged over a different chair with a cushion that had some cushion left in it for me. She was genuinely nice. There was also a separate section of chairs facing a wall closer to the bathroom, so if it was crowded, you would still be able to get a chair but not with a cushion. I liked the fitted towel covers they put over the chairs. It was chilly and windy when we were there, so I asked for an extra chair cover to use as a blanket. Periodically, the attendants came by with chilled water, frozen fruit. The pool-side service was excellent. Different servers may come by asking if you need anything or to pick up your dishes, since they work as a team. The hamburger and fries was delicious ($35). Chicken tenders were pretty good. The alcohol drinks were $20. I liked the non-alcoholic mango daiquiri. ' I highly recommend making reservations at Takata, Japanese restaurant at the hotel. It got packed later and everything was absolutely delicious - one of the best dinners in Ft Lauderdale we have had in over 20 years. It is also open for breakfast. I had the avocado toast which was okay. Down the street in the shopping center is a CVS. We have stayed in a number of Ft Lauderdale hotels over the years for a cruise. The outstanding service from Dominique at the front desk to the pool attendants and servers, the Takata server all were phenomenal. The room was incredible and we appreciated the generous supply of Lavazza coffee and microwave. We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Conrad, and it will be at the top of our list next time we are in Ft Lauderdale.

The pros - location, right on the beach (private beach access and 2 chairs included in daily resort fee), 20 minutes from airport, walkable to a lot of restaurants, bars and shops. Our room also had a great view of the ocean. However our patio door was so stiff we could barely open it (my teenage daughters could not), the patio furniture was incredibly uncomfortable and as others have said the shower is pretty much open to the rest of the room. The pool was amazing, we went later in the day and it was not busy. We also found service to be very friendly overall. All in all our stay was good but they need to make some enhancements to the property.

The rooms were beautiful and the beds were pretty comfortable. The restaurant was solid! Breakfast could be slow, but unless you have a child who just wants to be at the pool it would be a non-issue. We loved the beach as well. My biggest complaint was the onsite parking price. You have no choice but to valet and they getcha at around $60 per day.

Each time I return, I can see upgrades to the resort that continue to bring me back. Two pools, a hot tub and beautiful greenery all around. My spa experience has been consistently excellent. Michael is five stars and always gives a great massage with pressure designed for you and will add in stretching when asked. Not just a two minute stretch but 10-15 minutes! Drew is so committed and in the moment, that nothing else exists but that tiny part of the universe. Carlos and Tony at the desk always welcome me in it's just another part of why this place feels so comfortable.
