I went from this messy purple back to black/brown (my natural color). Gingy is awesome, she educates you on literally everything you need to know about what she's doing to your hair and the products she's using. She tells you what other stylists did wrong and TRIES HER BEST to fix those mistakes. One of those mistakes being my hair. I went to someone to be a hair model for this purple color I got and they left the bleach in my hair too long and over processed my hair. Gingy saw the problem and did everything she could to fix it while trying not to hike up the price a lot (which is so great and I really really appreciate that). She's such a perfectionist when it comes to your hair and won't let you leave if she's not happy with the results. This is the stylist you need to go to. Someone who actually cares about your hair and not just wanting to charge you a ton of money to slap on some products. Gingy saved my hair after I moved here from New York. For the first month, my hair was suffering because it couldn't handle the LA hard water and so my regular shampoo and conditioners weren't working. I could barely comb my hair after the showering because of how stiff and jumbled it was. I accidentally found Gingy while walking through the Phenix Suites during after two months and she took me in for a cut. She spent a lot of time with me and recommended the right shampoos and showed me how to use them. And she gave me a great cut. The shampoos worked wonders on my hair. I've since returned for another cut with Gingy. Moving is hard to begin with but having to start all over again with finding your essentials (good hair stylist, threader, water, etc.) makes it more difficult.
