The owner made a slopy job on my highlight! I went back to ask her to correct it. She gave me a very bad attitude and said she's not gonna do it. We started argument. One of his guys client who was sitting there, all of a sudden stood up and asked me to leave. I told him that it was not his right to ask me to leave. I had a full face threading. I asked them to just clean up My brows (included in full face) but not to make them thinner. I felt a lot of ripping on my hairline at the top and sides and even said "ouch" a few times. When she was done, she handed me a mirror (s magnified one would have been better because I didn't have my Glasses with me!). I could feel patches of hair on my jawline. She went back and redid the area. After I left, I noticed the sign said $25 for full face (I was charged $30). I had given a $10 tip because I assumed if she went back to the area, it would be clean. When I got home, I looked in the 3x magnified mirror and saw entire patches of hair on my cheek. Also my eyebrows had been trimmed a little in the top but under the brows were not touched at all! Same scraggly hairs as before! Also my hairline is uneven- I have a weird shaped widows peak (never had one before let alone an uneven one!). I have come before to the salon and have been satisfied. I had an absolutely terrible experience at this Salon with the owner,Farah,I went in to fix my nail,but all of a sudden Farah accused me of having covid-19 with out any evidence or confirmation.I was coughing at the time due to the allergic I know for a fact that I didn't have the virus.and I was wearing a mask .Her behavior was completely unprofessional and disrespectful. Full face threading. First turn off - Worker keeps reminding me how much hair I have and that my hair is thick. Well hello that's why I am there, ain't it?! Considering quite unprofessional. Second - one woman did one eyebrow and then left. Other lady took over, then tried to talk to me to do permanent make up, which I politely declined. Third - She did the most painful and totally incomplete clean up of my brows. Fourth - I ended up leaving with uncleaned, shorter and thin eyebrows. The worker told me that I should DRAW IT WITH A PENCIL. What the heck lol. Like Seriously? Anyways. I keep mentioning to her what hairs to clean up but she did not even do it so I had to finish the leftovers by myself at home. I did this before my wedding and I regret so much to try this service, since now I'll have to be like my grandma with pencil drawn thin brows lol. Totally not my cup of tea. This is old lady kind of salon and they are quite backwards there. Disappointed. Someone may like think brows and draw them with the pencil but you should communicate the details ahead because you may leave totally eyebrow-less. Ain't Doja Cat, lol. Mixed emotions but overall a good service. I called for a last minute appointment inquiring about a regular blowout, not a haircut. I was told I could walk in. Located in a strip mall next to a popular restaurant, I was still able to easily find parking in front. I walked in and the owner, Farah, was busy with a client. Initially, I almost walked out as the other stylist didn't see me waiting for several minutes and was on her phone. When the owner told her to help me I could see she was shocked to notice me and she had no idea I was waiting. She sat me in her chair right away but the owner was yelling across the salon noise at her telling her, "Check her hair! Check her hair! She look like she has a lot of hair. Check it!" After "checking my hair" the owner yelled "$35, ok?" I didn't know who she was yelling at so I didn't respond so she yelled "Hey!" at which point I turned around and said "I don't know who you are yelling at." It got worse before it got better. The shampoo stations were terrible! I strained my neck trying to fit in the contraption and cold water sprayed everywhere. At this point it was comical. The lady who helped me was so nice though. I was introduced to Farah's Beauty Salon couple months ago for a haircut. That's experience went well and I returned to the salon for Hair color. To be specific for an Ombre. They looked at my hair and told me that my hair cut was done incorrectly so i need a correction to my layers. I told them it was done from their salon. They mentioned that person is no longer working for them! But she was actually present at the time and helping other clients. Anyway, I agreed on them taking care of the hair again and discussed pricing for Ombre. I asked and explained what I am looking for and what I don't want! As I already have ombre on my hair I asked to add few brighter color lines and not to have brighten blonde falling on my face! After the wash my hair color was exactly what I didn't wanted! Front portion of the hair was completely blonde! It was not ombre at all it was just a regular high lights! I requested them to toned down the color since it was not I what i wanted. After another round of re do- my hair color wasn't what I've shown them in a picture or what I was explained to them! They were like picture looks different coz they add lights! Well, thats true but you at least can go close to it! The color they had put on my hair was no where close to an Ombre! I know they are experienced and been in business for long time but i've noticed couple of unprofessional things- example They kept talking in another language to each other constantly and laughing. It made me so uncomfortable as i was not sure what's going on! I've invested long three hours, my money and time and came home with bad hair color, stiffed neck ( there were no message after the service as mentioned to me in the beginning of the service). This was not my first time to go for hair cut. As always they were very friendly and hospital and salon was packed by people waiting for turn. Luckily I had an appointment and exactly on time Farah who is the owner too, started cutting my hair while she was entertaining me , which I couldn't feel when she told me it is done. What I like most in this salon is the cleanliness, great happy and delegent staff. She offered me coffee with madelin too The ambiance was so good that I got a facial too, which was great. I had my hair bleacher, dyed, and cut here. The customer service was very friendly and I felt secure in the experienced hands that were handling me. There was a lot of chatting among the hairdressers as well as with customers, creating a friendly atmosphere. I have naturally really dark hair, but they were able to bring it all the way up to an almost white, blonde color in just one session. Farah told me to call her when I was outside the salon because of Covid everything was closed so it looked like her salon was closed but she was actually opened and letting people with appointment go in. When I was getting my hair done by her she told me it was ok to take off my mask mind you this was 7-8 months ago. The three older ladies had no mask on. So I have proof of farah texting me to send her money because she was only accepting cash because the salon was supposed to be closed and couldn't use the machine to pay with card. Nelly does the Brazilian blowout twice a year on my hair and I am really happy with her work. She does haircut, hair dye, threading and eyebrows styling for me too. Wonderful experience! I went in to Farah's today for a simple hair cut with some layers and I am very satisfied with the results! Everyone in the shop is so sweet and welcoming! Farah works magic and she is so fast. She made sure I knew exactly what she was doing as well as making sure I was satisfied with the length before trimming.
