Called at 10:00 am this morning, and was told get there in 20 minutes. I did and to my surprise the place was full and getting fuller. Waited 10 minutes and watched them take care or their clients. And they didn't rush anyone. My turn came and I think the lady that took me was the owner, she was so nice and we chatted the whole time. She took me to the back and washed my hair and after drying it, she began to cut it, always asking me if I'd like it shorter. Never rushing me, she did a wonderful job. This was a tough rating to give because I've only been there once. It was probably my fault assuming I could get a barber quality cut here. If the haircut I wanted was not obtainable, I would have rather been told that. All I wanted was a low taper, sides cut with trimmer, and the top blended in. Instead, I got a cut on the ear and had to get another haircut elsewhere. When the top was being trimmed, she parted my hair in half and after I mentioned she forgot one side, she said "I already did it" then proceeded to cut it and said "actually you need some off". BUT! Lily took notice of my displeasure and reassured me that she would take care of me and fix my hair. She is an owner that only wants what is best for her clients and does everything in her power to provide that. Look, I get that mistakes happen but it's the effort they put into fixing the issue that made all the difference. Give them a shot, simply be clear about what you want! read more

I am over the moon about my hair! I called in on Saturday for a Sunday appointment and was able to get one of the first appointments for the day. I was a bit apprehensive about going to a new salon since my last experience wasn't that great, but I'm so happy I did. I let the receptionist know on Saturday that I wanted a cut and highlights, probably color, and she was able to give a ballpark number. (I know it's really hard to give a quote on hair without seeing the state it's in.) When I walked in, the staff was so friendly. I waited just a minute or two for them to finish opening up and then I was sent to Jessica to work her magic! I have thin, dark hair and my roots had grown out probably further than my ears and I was looking to get back to a blonde that I had previously. My hair has been every color of the rainbow and the ends have been processed MANY times, so Jessica really had her work in for her. I showed her some pictures and we chatted a bit about what I was looking for. She has such attention to detail and I felt so comfortable right away. I expected to be there for 3+ hours, but was home in less than 2. My hair has exactly the cut I was looking for and the highlights are perfect. I was raving about my hair the whole day and continue to tell my friends and coworkers how great my experience was. I would give 1000000x stars if possible. I highly recommend this salon and Jessica. What a joke. Just got a 10 minite haircut at a place that's supposed to be great. Attitude to begin with as if they couldn't take a walk in -- no prob just let me know and I'll go somewhere else. But of course they want the money so they sit me down and the lady snips away faster than a Supercuts. No joke. So sorry you have so little time for me. A 10 minite clip job with zero convo just "let's get this done" attitude. What a joke. No shampoo, no rinse (I swear she asked me if I wanted a rinse AT THE END OF MY HAIRCUT because she found she had a little more time). $30 for a $10 haircut. At least I'm glad this post will deprive them of at least 1 or 2 clients (hopefully more) to bring my net cost to a reasonable $10 read more

I've been meaning to write a review for this place because it was such a pleasant experience and I wanted to spread the word. We practically didn't cut my son's hair since he was a baby and he was 3 years old at the time I took him to Hair Station back in February. I just looked them up on Yelp and wanted to give this place a try. They turned out to be awesome! I called and was able to get that same day walk in appointment. Was greeted pleasantly by a very sweet receptionist and then the entire team pretty much participated in my son's hair cut - mentally:) Mary was the one who actually cut it. Let me tell you, this lady is very professional. The hair cut still shows after 3 months. I never needed to style it, which is what I wanted because as much as we loved his hair long (it was beautiful), we had a really hard time keeping it nice all the time. After the haircut all we had to do is just wash it and air dry it. That's all! No hustle at all. She did an outstanding job with his haircut. Not too short as I didn't want to be too shocked after having it pretty long for so long. The whole team made us feel so welcomed too. It's like we've been going there for years. I'm so happy I found this place! Dez fixed my disastrous curtain bangs that I had done somewhere else and gave me that Dakota Johnson look that I've been aiming for! I scheduled an appointment a few weeks later for an ombré, to lighten up for summer, and my GOODNESS!! Perfection. She took her time to make sure everything was safely developed in a certain time frame with different volumes, layer by layer to make sure it didn't get fried by using one volume and developer like most salons I've been to. I had some recent hiccups with my previous hair establishment. I started searching for a place that gave a good hair cut for males and was not overpriced. I found Hair Salon which is literally behind my neighborhood. I called in and A Hair stylist named Teresa answered the phone. I set up a haircut time. Once I walked in, she said hi and told me she is ready for me. I never had a haircut where the stylist asked so many questions about my hair and how I style it. It really gave me confidence that this was going to end well. After my haircut, she gave me a mirror to inspect her work and I Loved it! The hardest part of getting a good haircut is duplicating it! Teresa made sure to write some key notes for next time and I thought that was awesome. The haircut cost $17 dollars and I made sure to put in a tip afterwards.
