My family had such an outstanding experience at Thera Farms. First, parking was easy and the grounds were neat, and clear what was where. There were you pick berries, seating areas with shade, a cafe with a Farmstand and a playground for young kids. The vibe was a toddler mom's dream to come here and not need to go all the way out east. The staff were so incredibly nice and friendly. The you pick area was perfect because it wasn't miles long but plenty to choose from. There was a washing station to wash and eat your fruit. I also highly recommend their lemonades. This is now my go to spot for you pick and a nice farm experience. read more

Every Fall for the past few years I've been coming to Thera Farms for my Halloween pumpkins and I always walk away with something else it seems! Today it was a singular red onion for a recipe at home that came out perfect, I think the fresh onion added that extra oomph. I even tried a roasted corn on the cob elote loco style, the kernels were so juicy and sweet. As for their pumpkins, there are plenty in various sizes and they are spread out on the ground in their own area for you to pick. You are the grand kingpin of your Halloween pumpkin after all! You can definitely spend some time here if you're up for it, there are a couple games and photo ops spread out, even a mini maze that can actually lose you. Best part? Free admission! Just park up, get in there, and support your local farms. read more

So excited I found this place! Now I love going out east for pumpkins and lavender and all the other things but it's so nice having somewhere local to go! The strawberries at Thera Farms were so so SO delicious. Ripe, tasty, and WORTH THE PRICE. I'm excited to come back in a few weeks for blueberry and snap pea season! Absolutely the best grilled corn during the season and fantastic with kids! We have a great time picking all sorts of fruits and veggies . I absolutely love their lemonade and play area the entire year is a true blessing especially during the down times with family when we don't have a ton of extra cash . We also enjoy the adult and kids corn mazes and pumpkins . The entire staff make the extra effort to tell us about all the new things happening, they allow us to borrow their little red wagons, pick our own healthy and happy items while enjoying the experience with our kiddos. Not to mention;they are willing to help to do to whatever they can to make our visit more enjoyable each time we go. read more

Visited today with my daughter and I'm always surprised at how many things they fit into a small-ish area. We got five bags full of produce AND roasted corn and fresh lemonade and apple cider for $31. In addition to a large selection of produce, there's always amazing prepared food there - the shaken lemonade is great, the roasted corn is fantastic, my son was addicted to the greek donuts, and they have wood fired pizza that looks amazing. My daughter is a picky teenager and she always refused to eat corn, and she tried it today and thought it was amazing. Just a really really well-stocked, well-priced, constantly open spot where you can also grab something consistently great to eat. read more

During a recession with insane inflation, this place has been a safe haven. My family and I have gone weekly. The owner is incredibly nice, and they have great outdoor area to sit and eat some treats--even pizza! Walked away with tons of fresh, real produce that would cost an arm and a leg at Whole Foods, or even any grocer currently, for about 30 bucks. You can't beat that. Support your local farm. read more

I live down the street from this family. The first time i stopped in was a few years ago when I first moved to the area. Its crazy because I was given a tour of the "farm" which I would not have ever known was located behind what seems like a medium sized residential house on a busy road...its enormous. They are literally growing fruit trees, Fig trees, fruits, veggies, there are chickens making all different colors of eggs, bees to make honey--- i saw vegetables back there that I really cannot even name... This little giant farm is just amazing. Everything they grow has heart I swear. I guess it comes from many years of experience- I recall the lady telling me that some of the produce was transferred from Greece directly to their yard. Maybe I am not remembering correctly but I can say this- Do I sound crazy saying that the vegetables have the taste of soul? I can taste the long long history in them they have deep rooted flavor. Very different from what you buy in a grocery store. Even a sort of step up from local farm stands. Of course it is a bit pricey but more than worth it. Great ingredients make great meals, so I try to buy the soul to go with the heart I put in my dishes. its makes it phenomenal. read more

This is a very nice fruit and vegetable stand. Very nice place to bring your small kids outside. Very relaxing and stress free place. On this day there was a person was playing the guitar which may it really nice to be there enjoying a drink or a grilled corn. Entry is free and your kids can run around and play. There are fruit, vegetables, flowers and more for sale. read more

Overwhelmed with excitement! I stopped by this beautiful market on my way home from work today & let me say.....I am so upset I am just now finding this place! It's a family who runs a beautiful vegetable/fruit/egg market from their back yard. The husband gave me a tour of the backyard and showed me how they grow everything themselves. Nothing is sprayed with crazy nasty chemicals! They had zucchini, tomatoes, kale, raspberries, eggplant, cucumbers, peaches! I'm speechless! I've been looking for something like this for ages! & I found it close to home. They definitely gained a regular customer! Open MON-SUN 9am-8pm which is so convenient! :-) yay! read more

Delicious organic vegetables at this CSA/farmstand in Brentwood. This is my 2nd year as part of the CSA and it's a great treat to pick up my half-bushel of whatever is being harvested that week. I love veggies and have tried some greens/veggies I've never seen in any store. Choices change as the season progresses, Early season brings strawberries, all kinds of greens, lately there are tomatoes, eggplant, zucchini, butternut squash, potatoes, onions, garlic. Great lettuce all season and even carrots and celery. Owners are super-friendly and have made the spot nice for families with a fishing game for kids and even have wholesome snacks and drinks at their snack bar. read more

Eggs were delicious, deep yellow/orange yolks and full of flavor, that's how you know they are raised right. Also tried hydroponic lettuce, so crisp! a great set up, so sad I am leaving the area and won't get to try the tomatoes, but the rows and rows of plants look to be doing extremely well. Can't believe this farm has been here since the 70s. Definitely stop by any farmers market stand, or just right at the farm. read more

Extremely friendly. Showed us around the farm, answered our questions, and explained how everything worked. The hens and roosters were beautiful and will follow you around in their pen. The season is starting late this summer but I'll definitely be back to check out the vegetables in a couple weeks! read more
