I confirmed this a second time before getting off the phone. I had one visit. I then received a bill despite being told Medicare would be covering the entire visit. I wrote back a personal communication about having been promised that Medicare would cover ALL of the visit. The response I got back was another bill and then was sent to collections. Ideally, one keeps promises once made. And, ideally, when a personal communication comes in to a practice, a personal communication should be its response.

It's a horrible experience that I…read morehad administratively, and with the tech hauling me back and giving me x-rays that I didn't need, without so much as a hello or telling me what they were doing. I called and gave my insurance and told scheduler that I experienced a hamstring tear. The woman on the phone said she couldn't make it at the location I requested because they don't treat hamstrings and so she made an appointment with a physician in South Pasadena. I waited for this appointment and was in a lot of pain. I showed up they took me back and gave me several x-rays without saying one word. First of all, I hate x-rays and I hate getting irradiated for any reason. So I was really angry to find out the x-rays were of my spine not my hamstring and they didn't even bother asking why I was there!! Or telling me what they were doing!!! I assumed they had my appointment info. (Will they charge for these??? We'll see) The second thing I wanted to say is that I switched my claim to Workmen's Comp. I had to deal with bcunning@floridaortho.com. He is the worst. VERY rough manner and no one including even his own staff members can get a hold of him when they need something. So good luck trying to schedule something if you're on Workmen's Comp and you are in pain. I'm sure the doctors are great, but I can't see myself having to deal with him or any other incompetence moving forward. And now I lost an entire week.

I had torn achilles back 11 months ago and have had a noticeable limp since the surgery...I thought that this was just the way it would be for the rest of my life...not so much...Hillary right out of the gate showed me that my non-torn leg was a full 1.5 inches shorter than the torn leg probably caused by the way I had been favoring my good leg...During the very first visit she got my legs corrected and my limp was instantly gone...this in no BS...I almost tripped when I got off of the table and took my first couple of steps...she is the real deal...I'll be a patient for life....She also will come to you if getting to her office is an issue....
