I was charged $250 for an arm sling that appears to be of low quality and is available online for approximately $15, often in better condition. The item was provided by the surgical facility. Prior to my procedure, I confirmed that the facility was within Cigna's network. However, I later learned that a portion of the services or providers associated with the facility may be considered out of network. I do not fully understand how this determination was made or how it permits such a significant charge. I did not explicitly authorize the purchase of this item, nor was I informed of its cost beforehand. While it may be permissible under current billing practices, it does not seem reasonable or transparent. This is a fraudulent company. I had a minor outpatient surgery lasting for 3 hours done 3 years ago. It was done at an outpatient surgical center. Without my consent or knowledge, a limb compression device was placed on me for prevention of blood clot. This was a v short procedure and risk of blood clot forming would be minimal. My health insurance was subsequently billed for $495 which it declined. 3 years later, I got a bill for $495 for a service that I did not consent for. Received my first bill mailed 1/10/2025. $230 for compressions socks for a surgery. I understand medical stuff is more expensive than low rate product, but when the price is 4x for a pair of higher priced, publicly available socks you know it's a scam. Husband had knee replacement, company came into hospital, telling hubby he needed a passive motion machine, he called me at home and I told him, no that Medicare will not pay for it, the salesman flat out said "it's covered", they will pay for it! This company is a total joke and fraud. They feed on people after a surgery. Not only do you have pain from your surgery you may need oxygen after getting a bill for something you did not ask for or even need. They billed my insurance $3,200 for a pair of plasmaflow leg compression sleeves, a ridiculously outrageous cost of their product. My insurance of course denied that part of the claim. I don't blame them. So, Therapeutic Solutions came after me for $440.00. And insisted I was going to pay for it. This is why we have such high insurance costs and premiums. Because of companies just like this one. I can buy these sleeves all day long for $100.00 anywhere. I decided to get with my Doctor and Oakbend hospital to find out if my doctor requested them. I asked Oakbend to mail me copies of my surgery paperwork. I asked them to send me anything that has Therapeutic Solutions on it. Not only did my Doctor not request them, I got proof from Oakbend that they were not signed for. I have attached a copy of the paperwork from Oakbend and the one I got from Therapeutic Solutions. The first copy is the one Oakbend mailed me. Notice next to plasmaflow/scd (top right hand side) there is no check beside it. The second copying the one that Therapeutic Solutions sent me. There happens to be a check next to plasmaflow. So, someone added the check after I signed the paper. Hmmm how does that happen? It is called fraud. They sure wanted to send me to collections before I sent them proof. Now that I have sent the proof to them, I haven't heard back from anyone. To be able to gouge people the way they do. So sad. They don't even deserve a one rating, they deserve a negative 5 rating. They have no conscience at all. They thrive on your pain and pocketbook. I am so sorry that you people have no heart or soul. This company is dishonest. I was given a bill of $495 a year after I had already paid my outstanding bill for equipment for a surgery, according to both their billing and my insurance. Then, a year later, they claimed to have filed for further equipment and posted the claim 9 months after the fact (why would they do this?), even though my insurance has no record of them filing an additional time. They tried to say they had already contacted me multiple times and pressure me with a "Final Notice" bill when I hadn't heard from them since my previous payment. read more

This is the worst place ever. My wife had a right knee replacement (2/26/16) and she got one of those Continuous Perpetual Motion Device. We were told the insurance covered the whole price, she had it for 63 days. We turned it in to the office, everything good to go, do not owe anything. The following year she had the other knee done (3/3/17) this time for 89 days,again said insurance would pay for it and when they picked it up we owed nothing. Just received a FINAL NOTICE that we owe $927.73 for what the insurance did not pay (they charged $1,746.00 insurance paid $817.27) for the first surgery is 2016. They want $411 (remember we kept it 26 days longer) they billed $1,255.00 and the insurance paid $$844.00. To top it all off, they are also charging $148.80 interest on the first surgery and $223.92 interest on the second surgery. I had Knee surgery in 2020 they assured me my walker and later knee brace was covered completely by my insurance, they lied and charged me $104 dollars for a $89 walker after my insurance paid them $299 . It's ironic they call themselves "Therapeutic Solutions" because they are anything but! Not only are they refusing to resolve the issue their dishonestly caused, but even worse, they're doing it by being shady, evasive, and downright rude. They sold a back brace for $760 (way over-priced) to my wife while I was under anesthesia right after back surgery under the guise that that EXACT brace was the only one my doctor wanted me to use (which turned out to be untrue). Less than two days later, when I was finally able to function, I called them to return the brace. They were super rude and refused to do it. After arguing with everyone in their office except the owner (cause they refuse to let you talk to the owner), they reluctantly promised to return my money to the debit card my wife used to pay for the brace. It's been almost 2 weeks and we still have not gotten our money back!!! They insisted that the transaction had been completed and to check with our bank. We talked to the bank and they told us that they did not receive anything. We called back to Therapeutic Solutions and they don't want to own up to anything or return our money and are still refusing to let me talk to the owner or supervisor.
