I looked them up and I was admittedly scared by some of the reviews of "neglect" and the place being a "hell on earth." I spoke to the doctor about my concerns, and I'm glad I did. He had said that he had been there himself and said that from what he had seen, the staff did an excellent job caring for their patients. He also mentioned that the people who are upset or dissatisfied were much more likely to leave a review than someone who were satisfied. I'm glad I listened to him. Mom received excellent care there. The staff were genuinely invested in her health, and just treated her as one of their own. I wish I could remember to name all of the wonderful and patient nurses that took care of mom. The nurses: Alyssa, Laura, and and Dr. Price, Dr. Davoudian, as well as Salve Bautista, and a host of others took excellent care of mom. I'm sorry for all of the people who have had horrible times there, but I was there everyday that my mom was there, and saw none of what they are talking about. Thank you to all of the well trained staff who made a difficult time much much smoother. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

Beware do not take your loved ones here. For some you might not have a choice but take them out as soon as you can before you live with regret. Remember unless you have a doctor some where else that will accept your loved one you will have a hard time getting them out. A person is better off dying at home than going through the neglect they will be subjected here and dying slowly in their neglect. You can look at the pretty brochure, do a walk through it doesn't change anything. This place is hell on earth and all the other Kindreds are pretty much the same. I have spoken to so many who have lived the hell my family lived at this place and other kindreds. They were transferred to this facility thinking it would be better but it was worse or the same. I spoke with administrators , patient advocates, doctors ...good luck getting one to call you back . For these doctors this is a side gig for most of them and they could care less about your loved one. I called the 800 number they provide for kindred to report complaints for what ? Nothing is done , nothing changes. You talk to the person in charge of hospital same thing its a joke of a facility. Do not get me started on the security guy they have at the entrance morning shift. Keeping my mother from seeing her brother because they had stuff to hide. Or trying to stop me as well and spying on me harassing us. I can go on and on. In the end this place is hell consider yourself lucky if you come out alive from this place. They have doctors that don't care and the few that do have their hands tied. Incompetent nurses some who are training on your loved ones. Under staffed facility which they lie when they say they are fully staffed. Patients full of bedsores, who are at their mercy. Patients who are left soiled for hours. So many of these nurses I asked myself why are they here they don't like their job, they don't know how to do their job , reality check you actually have to do your job if you are around patients in a hospital. Some of these nurses you can't even understand. Some get upset cause you want an update and don't want to be bothered as if your loved one is staying here for free. YES YOU ARE GETTING PAID TO TREAT THE PATIENT that is how you have a paycheck . The bedsore team that you see around hospital taking their sweet time , yet you have a hospital full of patients with bedsores and they relly on the incompetent nurses to help them with the bedsores and the neglect continues and damage they also caused by training someone who clearly does not know what they are doing and thus causing more harm to my loved one. What about the old outdated camera they use on bedsores pictures to benefit the hospital in hiding their neglect so that when they take pictures of these bedsores you get a blurry picture that minimizes the severity of the bedsore. Its 2025 get a real camera to show the neglect these people are put through. Let me not forget the Respiratory department two of the people in charge there thought they had the right to keep information from me and where not to be questioned. If the oxygen machines are making noise because your loved one needs help well good luck getting someone to help they need to be tracked down. I even called the cops the paramedics for help. You know what days where good when they were being audited or a nursing school came in to train. Or someone from the state came to check on the many complaints I submitted or others submitted. Maybe then you got more foot traffic and they acted like they cared . They kept information from me , I can write a book on all the neglectful stuff they did. Be YOUR patient's advocate take pictures, write information and report for elderly abuse, report to the state just like I did! Create a trail so you can sue them . I can give names and believe me I have them all but names don't matter now. My loved one is gone and I blame them. That is all you can do for them. This place is so bad that a few patient's family that were able to financially pay had people watching over their loved ones because the neglect is that bad. This should tell you something. Pay for an autopsy like I did what they put on the death certificate is not always the real reason someone died. The few people that were helpful know who they are and I will be forever grateful for these people. The government needs more over site over these places so the abuse can be stopped and they can stop harming patients. what a disgrace that this abuse and neglect happens in the USA to the most vulnerable.

They have provided support for many different students in my class. I have found everyone to be very supportive and knowledgeable, as they helped me to meet the needs of each individual child. I appreciate the constant communication and being able to work as part of the team as we help each child progress.

When we came last January for a trial day I knew that we would have substantial challenges moving into a classroom setting. Our son was diagnosed at an early age and does have severe symptoms, as well as being non verbal. But after spending the last four years with various agencies in the DTT model at home, we were ready for a change. After our intake assessment, it was clear that our son wasn't ready for a classroom setting. So instead they made the offer for us to access the clinic for ABA and push into the Academy over time. He's really blossomed in this model. He's totally acclimated to the classroom now, and will be moving into the classroom full time soon. Any complaints I've had have been met with solutions and if there was a problem they could not solve they referred me to someone who could. Mr. Sam and Karlie are great teachers, and the classroom is amazing. Music therapy is twice a week and they have clinics for OT and speech. Once a month there are Saturday camps, and Friday evening camps as well. These don't have an additional cost except for siblings and as long as you have therapy hours available. Holiday events have been so much fun! The school doesn't require verbal only like every other competitor in the area that refuses to serve any other population other than tier 1 verbal kids. So that was a huge plus for us. The program is year round. Overall we are really satisfied, and look forward to the 2019-2020 school year.
