Beauty from the INSIDE, OUT! I grew up in Harrisburg but recently returned from Scottsdale (SNOTsdale), AZ a few months ago. I can say I am SO EXCITED to have found, "There She Glows." Living in AZ, beauty is basically everything and everywhere. I've had $500 facials by some of the most prestigious resort Spas and they can't hold a flame to my experience at TSG. When I arrived, Reg came into the treatment room and made sure I found a little space to mentally prepare for my service. I sat in a nice little wicker rocker chair and she presented me with a choice of three quality teas. As I sat and sipped, she gave me a form to fill out. I was expecting the normal, "dry, oily, or combination," forms one fills out typically. To my surprise it was the 5 elements quiz. A mix of emotional/physical conditions that I was experiencing at that present time. I noticed how high my, "Fire and Earth," counts were, but had no clue what this lady was setting me up for. She explained the process of these elements and how one bleeds into the other and the process of refining and regeneration, "much like our skin, ladies!" She explained to me that she likes to take the most filled column and then the most balanced common and customize the experience with certain essential oils and different massage techniques. I got in the chair and she was blasting this soulful melody with heavy ancestral drums and chimes. She began with some steam and she played this beautiful sounding bowl walking around me. She placed specific stones and metals around me at certain pressure points and to be honest, it made a difference. I was able to really prepare my SOUL for pampering too! She found all of these pressure points where I instantly felt relief and, "not to be gross," my lymphatic system began to drain. I came in with ear pain and that was completely gone after my treatment. I was getting headaches in my right eyebrow and that is gone too! After the treatment, honestly I felt the shape of my face look more relaxed and structured. I laugh about this but I'm pretty sure I have a new top lip that's plumper now!! She then gave me a mini class on massaging techniques and gave me a complimentary facial wash and moisturizer. CAN YOU BELIEVE SHE ALSO MAKES HER OWN PRODUCTS! SENSITIVE SKIN -- So I am going on a cruise in August, and was planning to get a spray tan. Because I have very sensitive skin, I thought it would be wise to get a "test" spray tan to make sure my skin didn't react badly to the solution. I definitely didn't want to get stuck on a boat for 4 days look blotchy if I could help it. I visited Regina at her Riverbank location this past Friday and I am SO HAPPY with the results. She took her time to ask questions about my skin, used a solution especially for sensitive skin, and even provided an exfoliating glove to help ensure my tan took to my skin well. She took the time to apply the barrier cream to my dryer areas beforehand and made sure I was comfortable. She was very professional and kind. Now 4 days post spray tan, it still looks amazing.
