This review is a bit late, but I figured better late than never. I contacted Vivian a few days before my wedding as I couldn't make my previously scheduled spray tan appointment. She was able to fit me in two days before my wedding and did not disappoint. She sends over a very detailed page of instructions before your appointment and is really helpful if you have any additional questions. At the appointment, she is very personable, makes you feel comfortable, and is very thorough. She even explained about not making my face too dark and letting my makeup artist match the makeup to my neck, which my makeup artist was actually very thankful for. My tan was so natural looking and completely flawless. I haven't needed another spray tan since then (November 2020), but when I do, I will absolutely be going back to Vivian. read more

I highly recommend Vivian's Airbrush Tanning. She takes her time talking with you and looking at your skin, which results in a perfect, flawless tan. She also makes you feel very comfortable during the process. I was very pleased with my color, it looked like I had a real tan. My tan lasted 2 weeks but would've probably lasted a little longer, but I am one to shower and exfoliate everyday. I had the worst experience I've ever had in regards to a spray tanning place. If I could give Vivian zero stars, I would. I have had many, many spray tans in my life and I have never been made to feel as though I had to put aside my whole day in order to get the tan. I walked in and Vivian immediately gave me a dirty look and told me that she hoped I had other clothes (I was wearing boyfriend jeans and a t-shirt with a cardigan). She proceeded to ask me "Did you not read the instructions I sent you? That's why I send them." in a very condescending tone. Umm, yes, I did read your instructions and I thought what I was wearing was fine. She also said "I bet you're wearing a bra, too, aren't you? It's going to smudge when you put it back on.".... this completely baffled me, because I am breastfeeding and had spoken to her before I booked the appointment in regards to if it was even okay for me to be sprayed while breastfeeding. Obviously I HAVE to wear the bra, otherwise my milk is going to leak and ruin the damn tan anyway! I told her in our correspondence before that i planned to wear the bra while I was sprayed... All the while, mind you, she is talking to me in a rude and condescending manner in front of the other customers in the salon. I would have walked out, had I not really wanted the tan for pictures. She told me that she didn't want to spray me because it would smear and smudge.... yes, it might; but when you shower, it goes away. I have gone to appointments with leggings and tight shirts, gone before work and put my work clothes and make up on after, etc. my tan has always been fine. The only reason I went to Vivian is because The Spa Magnolia no longer offers the service and her reviews were very good. Unfortunately, that wasn't my experience. She made it seem like I had to completely put aside my day and look like a bag lady in order to not smudge my tan... it was four o'clock on a Saturday, that wasn't going to happen. In addition, I have never been made to feel like this with any of my other spray tan appointments. We argued back in forth for awhile and I really got the feeling that she just didn't want to do it. I LOVED the service! vivi is so detailed and thorough! she took her time ensuring I had an even tan. The room is in the back, so just ask for her when you get there and sit in the waiting area. It can be kinda odd to stand there in the nude in front of someone, but Vivian is very professional and made me feel comfortable (my second session i went completely nude).
