Their availability was a few weeks out and I was also trying to book the appointment between the time I took lunch at work. My appointment was a month out due to those factors. However, I will warn that their name is not on the marquee for the plaza and their located on the second level so it was a little difficult to spot them at first. When I went inside it was very warm and welcoming. After a couple minutes the massage therapist greeted me but he did not tell me his name. The donate their time on the last day of the pledge drive for WABE and come to the station and give free chair massages to the volunteers. Yay! Now this time around, I had been suffering from a debilitating migraine for 3 days along with my usual neck-crick. Who knew that a chair massage could help a migraine, much less any headache? Certainly not me (a sufferer for almost 30 years). Carl and I discussed how my migraine was manifesting, where my pain was and how the pain radiated. Carl talked me through the process, explained the muscles, how they effected the nerves, and how he thought he could help. I would guess I was in the chair for 15 minutes, but the entire thing was was delightful. The right amount of pressure, hitting all of the pressure points to relieve the throbbing and give me some much needed relief after 3 painful days. I probably could have stayed in the chair for an hour and been content. Plus, I have the added benefit of my pain/headache has been lessened more than any of my meds have done over the last few days. I knew something was amiss, but just tried to work through it on my own. Within 15 minutes, Carl was able to give me tremendous relief and enough knowledge so I would be able to work on some other points in my leg that were causing the pain. His exceptionally trained understanding of the body really shines through his work. He wants his clients to be comfortable, satisfied and educated about their pains and points!
