He told me that depending on the job, it may be cheaper to just buy a new one from a box store; but he would come out and look anyway. In the end he was able to repair it at a fair price. Instead of standing behind the product and workmanship, we were told that because ownership changed hands, they are "not responsible" -- despite operating under the exact same business name.
