After discussing it further, the price was reduced to $2,658--a difference of more than $1,000. While I appreciate the lower price, it makes me question why we weren't given the fairer price from the start. Transparency and consistency in pricing are important, and this experience has unfortunately affected my trust and confidence in this company. We hired another company and paid around $1,500 for the exact same work. Very disappointed in Osceola Air.

However, two years after spending over $30K on two new units, the experience is beyond disappointing. Within 2 years after installation, we discovered several major shortcuts taken by the installers: they failed to install a safety switch (which led to a leak and ceiling damage) and didn't install the correct breaker for the unit. Each of these led to costs for us to repair. Now, we are dealing with a faulty coil and another $1500 repair bill. The most disappointing part is the lack of accountability. We shared all this information with Dave. It took 2 days to return a call then another week for him to say they wouldn't do anything to make it right. Instead they simply said we should have called them for repairs. Well when the ceiling is leaking, or the house is hot you call who can be there in 15 minutes. Not a company that will call back later. They may be nice people, but based on my experience, they don't stand by their work and their installation quality is poor. You would think local installers would understand that doing the right thing will always pay dividends. Apparently not in this case.

They didn't hesitate to come to the house and help me. While waiting for the new unit to arrive, they brought a portable AC for my son's room so he could sleep comfortably. I am so grateful for the great job they did and the time they put into installing the new unit. I highly recommend them; they truly care about their customers. I am very happy with the work they did and with the guys as well. Grateful to Hector, Blake, Yoani, and Rolando. 100% recommended.

They charged me about $700 and fixed nothing and then when I had someone come back to fix that original problem he tried to charge me another $4000 and I said, "Absolutely not..." You are only here to fix the problem the last technician failed to even diagnose, let alone resolve. He got nasty with me, and I told him to leave my home. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!! I tried to resolve this with their customer service, but they tried to force me into retracting my very accurate review and sign an NDA that I wouldn't disclose how horrible their service is. I declined and decided to dispute it with my credit card instead... Everyone should know to stay away from this overpriced, incompetent company. They may send someone out the same day. But they will do their best to overcharge you while providing the worst customer experience possible. My previous full review can be seen on Google.

Wouldn't it be nice if everyone did business that way? Their labor price is very competitive. We called a number of companies and chose Harris based on price. The A/C belongs to my mom, who is currently out of town, and we have guests staying at the house, so we were trying to make the best decision on her behalf. The technician arrived around 4:45 p.m., diagnosed the issue, and called my mom at 5:02 p.m., but she missed the call. He then called me at 5:03 p.m. while I was already driving to the house. I answered, he explained the problem, and I immediately called my mom so we could discuss the repair. I arrived at the house by about 5:10 p.m. and let my mom and her fiancé speak with him over the phone. We were deciding between paying to repair the failed part or having someone install a brand-new unit that they already had at the house. He explained that he doesn't install equipment he didn't sell, which we completely understood. We simply needed a few minutes to decide which option made the most sense. By approximately 5:15 p.m.--only about 13 minutes after his first attempt to contact my mom--we made our decision. I had my card in hand and told him to go ahead with the repair because we needed the A/C working and didn't want to worry about the new unit. Instead, he refused to do the repair, said we had been "too back and forth" and taken too long to decide, charged us the $125 service fee, and left. We were never refusing service or wasting his time. We were simply taking a few minutes to make a decision with the homeowner, who wasn't even in town. Thirteen minutes is not an unreasonable amount of time for a repair decision that involved hundreds of dollars. Now we're stuck paying another service fee for our regular A/C technician to come fix the issue. I wish we had just waited for him instead of trying someone new because we needed help quickly. Lesson learned. I would not recommend this company and would avoid them.
