Frank's Air Conditioning to the rescue! We replaced one of our air conditioning systems with another company less than 2 months ago. Imagine our surprise when we found water dripping when it ran. We tried calling the competitor who supposedly has 24/7 emergency service Friday at 4:20pm; not a single reply from our message left. After calling again this morning and receiving the same radio silence, we tried giving Frank's a call to see if they could help us. From start to finish, service was fantastic. Iris helped get us registered in the system and promised to call us back with an update in 5 minutes. She did exactly that. Julien was out in record time and found the other company never replaced the old pump, which is why there was flooding. He got it replaced and even tightened a pipe the other guys left loose. We are so thankful they both offer and actually do have weekend emergency services. Thank you for getting us back in service. read more

I would give this company negative stars if I could. They did a horrendous job on my house. They charged me about $700 and fixed nothing and then when I had someone come back to fix that original problem he tried to charge me another $4000 and I said, "Absolutely not..." You are only here to fix the problem the last technician failed to even diagnose, let alone resolve. He got nasty with me, and I told him to leave my home. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!! I tried to resolve this with their customer service, but they tried to force me into retracting my very accurate review and sign an NDA that I wouldn't disclose how horrible their service is. I declined and decided to dispute it with my credit card instead... Everyone should know to stay away from this overpriced, incompetent company. They may send someone out the same day. The house we bought had the HVAC system replaced with a 10 year warranty in 2019. We were able to transfer the warranty in our names in 2021 when we bought it. Was told that we only had the parts covered because the previous owner didn't want to pay for a full 10 years on labor & parts. We have a service contract for every 6 months for a check up. Just had it done June 2025. They have always been nice to us & always on time. Last Thursday we left for the day & when we came inside it was 88* in the house. Called for service call for the next day from 9-12. Come to find out that it was frozen over. Turned off the system & just ran the fan to thaw it out. He came back @ 4:30, it was defrosted, found out had a leak, put dye in the Freon, got AC cold again. He was here until 7:30 Pm. Comes back next week with the part to fix the leak. Highly recommend Frank's! Remember you can't always go by what people write with a 1 star review. Some people you just can't please at all! Rude and totally unprofessional. Made fun of me because I did not remember an interaction over a year ago. I had them scheduled to come out to give me estimates for HVAC installation in two homes. The gentleman talk down to me and let me know that it was a waste of his time to come and talk to me and give me an estimate. Was argumentative right off the bat, and I do not do business with people that do not show respect to the customer. They were polite and friendly and in this heat they were the most professional they cleaned everything up after they were done cannot say enough about them. I will call Frank's any day. We had a fan blade break and cut a coil. Frank's tech charged $800 to replace the entire fan unit. Turns out he could have replaced the blade only, and the tech We had out yesterday said even a complete fan unit replacement should have cost more like $100...maybe $200. Also Frank's tech told us the coil was to the heater...couldn't find replacement part..needed a new system. BS. Turns out it was the EMERGENCY HEAT that the coil was for, and we fing froze for nothing when it got into the 30's and 40's this past month. We feel like such fools for being so stupid as to trust Frank's. Don't be that fool. Go somewhere else!!!!! read more

The HVAC tech showed up with an attitude. Did not want to even come in the house. He started complaining about the home warranty company's forms and telling me I would have to talk to them which he understood could take an hour or more on the phone or I could agree to be responsible for all charges. The whole time he was walking back to his truck clearly with no intent to actually do any work. Completely ridiculous. Very happy with the service I received foom Frank's Air Conditioning.The very nice young woman who took my call gave me a quick appointment,David Grierson came out and helped me find the right A/C for my home. I didn't think that my very low budget could afford a Trane A/C but David worked the numbers and made it happen, Today Carlos and JR were right on time and both guys were awesome.despite having to climb up in our tiny attic in unbelievable hot temperature they managed to install/replace the old air handler and outside unit.no goofing off with these guys,they really are hard workers,very professional.I also like the fact that they are local.When I need to replace our 2nd A/C unit Frank's A/C will be the only phone call I will need to make.Great service.Very happy. read more

Called around 10:30 that our A/C condenser went out that morning. The lady who took the call (Iris?) was friendly and took our info and said she would have a technician there that afternoon. They were pretty busy that day. She called back letting us know Jose would be calling 30 mins before getting there. He called to let us know he was On the way and even sent a text with a picture of the technician. He was professional and fixed our condenser quickly during the rain , we were very happy with the price as well. We would definitely recommend them and use them again. read more

So my AC went out tonight and I called my usual AC company and they had no emergency service for 4 days!!! So I went on social media and someone recommended Franks so I gave them a call. The woman on the phone was SO NICE! She took my info and promised I'd get a call within an hour and I actually did. Michael R called and said he was on the way. He arrived at 10pm, I felt so bad with it being so late and raining a bit but he was not concerned at all and said I'll get you back up don't worry. Man.... this guy went right to work, diagnosed the issue in minutes, did the repair, checked everything out including Freon and other connections in no time!!! Franks... please give him the credit he deserves, he's great. I'll definitely be a long time customer and because of him I signed up for the service plan. Thank you guys so much!!! I "stumbled" upon Franks AC a few years ago after moving into our home and receiving poor service from a couple of independent contractors. My first interactions were over the phone with then service manager Bryan. He won my business by patiently guiding me through numerous discussions regarding a complicated thermostat setup. Other companies I called wanted to charge $100 just to come look at the situation. Since those initial interactions, the techs and office staff have consistently been professional, helpful, and not trying to always "upsell" (like so many other HVAC companies). One of our two units did die out, and Frank's price was competitive with three other estimates. Since I already trusted them, the decision was easy to stick with them. We were in a bind that our brand new ac unit recently installed by another company Honest A/C installed and was giving a message to our thermostat that we lost the connection electrically so no air was blowing. The tech tried to help us problem solve on the phone. When that didn't work they came out and addressed the problem and identified a couple of other issues in the wiring and installation and fixed all quickly at a very reasonable price point. read more

Scheduled for them to do maintenance at my house two weeks in advance then they call me and my roommate the morning of to tell us they have emergency so cancelled us. Called Frank's when my combo heat/ac unit stopped working. I was given an appointment later the same afternoon. An hour later, I received a call that they had an availability and could come immediately. I was nervous that they would try to "up sell" me a new system but it was quickly diagnosed by technician "Mike" as a blown transformer. On arrival Kevin was able to identify the issue within two minutes (all while I was rambling off all the things that we had attempted to get the A/C to kick back on) Very straight forward and explained the issue and the cost before beginning work. I selected Frank's AC to install my HVAC system in the new house that I was building in 2007. They sold me a system that DID NOT have a heat pump included. When it was cold out, the system would not heat up my house even one (1) degree after running four hours! The AC worked okay (I don't keep my house freezing cold) but when I had a party at the house, I cranked the AC down lower and it couldn't keep the house cool. When I called them out on these problems, they insisted that the system was working normally. After having other HVAC specialists check my system, they informed me that my system was too small for my house. I ultimately went to another HVAC company to replace my entire system after only a mere three (3) years. Please DO NOT use this company for a new install. I personally wouldn't use them for ANYTHING after the experience I had with them and I would advise readers of this review to do the same... read more
