I tried making a new patient appointment for my dad with Dr. Rao again. Initially, I talked to someone named Donna And had requested her to email me the new patient Paperwork so that I can Fill it out for my dad and help him bring it with them to the office. Never did I receive the paperwork or an appointment confirmation. Two days later when I called to confirm the appointment and request the paperwork again, someone named, Lindsey answered the phone and was unable to find my dad's appointment because apparently it was never entered in their system. To add to that, Lindsey was very rude, didn't except her mistake, kept arguing with me. Eventually, I ended up making an appointment With an alternate PCP. It's better to choose other locations and physicians than Haydel. Their service is just not the same as it used to be.

He is one of a few surgeons in the state trained to perform the PAO (his fellowship training was with Dr. Chris Peters in Utah). It was shocking to learn I had hip dysplasia at 46 years old. He was truthful and transparent regarding my options and took the time in office to explain all procedures to me. I had bilateral PAOs with no regrets about my choice. I returned post op PAO running a 15K tough mudder in Europe, the Louisiana quarter marathon, River Roux triathlon, and the Little Rock half marathon without hip pain. I am grateful Dr. Greber provides this surgery in Louisiana. I am thankful every day for my hips!

Kids just can't wait too long. Especially sick ones. There is a "well" waiting area and a "regular" waiting area. The building is very old but kept up neat and clean. I think it's been in business between 25-30 years. My younger brother went there and he's 24. Dr Sheila Pitre is wonderful! She's truly compassionate. I'm so happy to have my girlie back in her care.

If you have been by Taste of Tokyo, this is next door. Nondescript from the parking lot, it is surprisingly large when you step inside. First impression - clean and a lot of equipment. After a stop at the Ochsner Sport Medicine Institute to confirm I was, in fact, a broken down athlete wannabe, I was referred to River Region PT. My stated goal is to run a 4.3 / 40 but I'm willing to settle for just the 40 part. After an initial evaluation with Jeanne, a rehabilitation regime was developed and then it is a matter of putting in the time and effort. The staff is professional, but friendly and very organized. There can be as many as maybe a dozen patients at any given time, but you rarely spend more than a couple of seconds waiting for one of the therapist to direct you to the next exercise or treatment. They rarely use the cattle prod and it is generally only on the lowest setting. Only 4 stars for now. A 5th star when I can resume leaping tall buildings in a single bound.
