There is a big parking lot- but be careful, the driveway to get in is really narrow and only one car fits through at a time. There is no admission fee and it is free to walk around. You also don't need reservations. There is cornhole, picnic tables to sit at, a gift shop with local good slike honey and apples, a coffee truck, a lemonade truck and popcorn for sale. There are pumpkins everywhere of different shapes and sizes available for purchase in addition to gourds and mums. We bought a mum and it was $15. There are plenty of photo opportunities and a garden to walk around in. There is also a lot of space for kids to run around in. For an additional fee, there is a wagon ride you can take that will take you to see farm animals but we didn't do this. All in all, not as many activities in my opinion as some of the other pumpkin patches around town, but I did like how close it is to town compared to some of the other pumpkin patch options and it was super cute! Dawn really knows how to engage a group of little kids, brought all the supplies and activities, and cleaned up in the end too. The kids were able to make their own slime, their own "snow", some very cool crystals, etc. They had a total blast and I was able to just relax and watch all the kids have fun. My son still asks about it all the time, so I'm sure we'll have to invite Dawn and her team again in the future.

Dawn and her assistant handled everything from the entertainment to serving the cake to cleaning up and packing up the party favors. It was easy, fun, and educational. Highly recommended!

We did the 10-19 month kids class and it was not age appropriate for my son (10 months); focused on walking and interactive play. The month range was too big as 10 and 19 month olds are doing very different things. The staff were friendly, but completely uneducated on children - the ages, stages and milestones. The class was extremely fast paced and bounced from one thing to the next so quickly. While I understand kids don't have a long attention span, I had hard time mentally keeping up with what was happening. Overall, we were disappointed and won't be returning.

The horses were in "costume" when we arrived with a blanket and headpiece to coordinate with a costume for each child as they ride. My daughter lived the unicorn princess costume and the boys loved the prince/knight costume. There was a game that they played with the kids as they ride and it included several other kids. So even though only 3 ride at a time, there was always 6 involved and the other kids played cornhole while waiting their turn. The only thing I would have changed is the party room. Setup was cute and they did work with me on decorations. It was very small. Barely enough room for kids and really not room for parents. It was insanely hot in there. There was an AC but I guess they forgot to turn it on and we thought maybe it was broken. The room was also pretty dark with very little natural light so not great for pictures (because I'm picky like that - I love to take nice pics). I almost wish we could've had a picnic table under a tree somewhere instead. Overall I would def go there again and highly recommend to anybody for a party!

I am not sure if they still have the same issues now, but of course, in any case you should do your homework before choosing a stable. To be fair, we were there when the current owner was still fairly new to the ownership of PEC, so some of the issues may have been transitional. However, the main issue that bothered me and why we left had to with allegations of improper care/feeding of the horses. Even though the new owner is/was a Veterinarian, there were major conflicts between the trainers and the owner about that issue. I recently checked out their website and since the time we were there, they have torn down the old barn and built a new & improved facility. They are also now hosting the UNCC Equestrian team. Hopefully, the other issues have been resolved as well.
