Our new place down here isn't big enough to handle fosters, but we still want to help out all those poor kitties. The shelter is set up to hold about sixty cats at a time (not sure how many dogs), though when we went there were under twenty of them. The cages are very spacious and clean which is important to not only the cat's health but to make them more "attractive" to prospective parents who drop in. There is also a nice little wooded area set aside as a dog walking trail, so there is a nice place where their dogs can get some exercise. The employee at the front desk was very friendly and appreciative of our donation. The location is a little off the beaten path but still worth visiting if you're looking to bring home a new family member. The cost to adopt a cat is $85 and it's $95 for a dog. I would highly recommend adopting over purchasing from a breeder or somewhere else.

They were able to give us many options from a local kill shelter (without us feeling pressured- really!) and then followed through with all the information we could ask for about the dogs we were interested in. Jillian was constantly available and willing to work with us when it came to transportation for our new pup. We received constant updates with pictures from both Jillian and Chad, which made us feel included through the entire adoption process; from them pulling him out from the kill shelter and then rehabilitating him until we were able to adopt. We got constant training updates so we felt ready and prepared for him when we brought him home. He is already settling in nicely, alive and happy! Thank you so much!!

We pull animals from kill shelters in their last hour to place them with a foster hoping to find them their forever home. We are advocates in our community and 100% volunteer run. Your donations help us to save their lives. NOTE: We are not an animal shelter. We are a rescue center. We do not have a commercial facility. But we do provide pet services to the public through the communication of our website and community involvement.
