While vacationing in the area, my husband & I had lunch at Third Day Kitchen. They had a really nice patio area with a cozy fire pit and beautiful view. My husband had a breakfast sandwich and dirty chai which he really enjoyed, while I had a delicious reuben sandwich and macaroni salad. If you visit, check out their little market next door, which has high quality homewares and gift items.

My fiancé and I had a much better experience this time around at Third Day Kitchen. It was a lot less crowded this time and we decided to sit outside. I think knowing what to do this time around (ordering via QR code) made it a lot easier. I started off with a latte with cinnamon & brown sugar flavoring w/ whole milk and it was great! I also got the BLT which I thought could have more mayo on it, but I'm glad it had less + then I could add more on my own. My fiancé got the burger which was messy but he said was really good. We both enjoyed the tomato soup! The weather was perfect for sitting outside, and you get a nice Mountain View.

I've reviewed this establishment before but I can't help myself. Everything I have had has been amazing. Outdoor seating with amazing view, great food. The only negative that I could think of is that it is always packed and parking can be hard to find. But.....is that really a negative???! Think about it

By far my favorite breakfast joint in WJ! Everything was to the T, crispy bacon, delectable runny sunny side up eggs, perfect toast, and hash brown! The service is always a breathe of fresh air the girls all work together perfectly! Always a lighthearted good vibe in that joint with the workers asking to make sure everything's good and nothing else is needed. 10/10 also loved the February drink menu this year keep up the good work!

We came here for brunch on a late Friday morning. They have their own parking lot with plenty of spaces. The first thing you notice is the incredible view across the street, beautiful porch and greenhouse along the storefront. We were greeted by the most lovely staff, who were beyond patient with our party of six's orders. We got breakfast sandwiches, one of their specials, pastries and coffees. You order at the counter and your food is brought out to you. Everything came out quickly and it was amazing!!! We all agreed that this was the new favorite breakfast / brunch spot for when we are in the area. Bonus points: They have a drive thru!!!!

I have been to OHG several times, bringing different people with me each time. We always enjoy the coffee & the atmosphere of the patio. There is plenty of seating inside, outside & in the greenhouse as well. Staff are always kind, patient, & helpful no matter the crowd they are serving. You order at the counter & take your number to your table where you'll be served. The OH Breakfast Burger & Don's Turkey Melt are two menu items that I keep coming back to. They also offer a variety of sweet treats from Stick Boy Bread Company, as well as ice cream and ice cream cones.

Great view in their outdoor seating deck. The breakfast bowls are very complete, spectacular and probably enough to share! The Apple cider and coffee was delicious on a cold December day! The staff was friendly, helpful and ready to answer questions and give recommendations! We very much enjoyed this brunch stop!

Blueberry muffin wrapped in cellophane $4.50. It was okay but $10 for muffin coffee and tip is too much for me.

Even though there was a steady stream of customers, the staff kept the line moving quickly while still taking the time to chat with people and make everyone feel welcome. Our drinks came out fast, too. I ordered an iced mocha latte, and it was exceptional--easily one of the best I've had. My husband had a double shot of espresso and really enjoyed it as well. The quality of the coffee definitely stood out. Another thing we loved was the ambiance. They feature handmade items from local artists, have spaces where people can network and leave business cards, and the upbeat music added to the welcoming feel. There was plenty of indoor seating, and we enjoyed sitting by the window and people-watching for a while. Honestly, there wasn't anything we didn't enjoy. We'd definitely stop in again the next time we're in West Jefferson.

Both were refreshing and flavorful. Service was fast and accurate for a moderate client load and consistent stream of orders. Sidewalk seating available. Dogs welcome. The interior is spacious with plenteous and varied seating options: bar, table, nooks, and couches. The establishment is clean and there's congestion to the decor, but I can't say it's classically "bohemian". Nonetheless, it's pleasant, comfortable, and welcoming. I could tell care and attention were given to the ambiance. We would return and recommend you check it out.

Sweet Aromas, what happened?? My wife and I visited Sweet Aromas Friday morning (7-22-2011) to…read morerenew our love affair with their great food and staff after being estranged from West Jefferson for a little over three years. Our fond memories included getting a big hung from the owner when we would go in and she always stopped by our table to chat after we received our food. Things change I guess because I knew we were in trouble when we entered and as we approached the counter a 6 or 7 year old boy threw a paper airplane that hit me in the chest. We stood there for a while waiting to be seated all the while having to make small talk with the child. Getting seated took too long since there was only one other couple in the place at 10:00 in the morning. The kid rang the bell by the register and the lady that I remember from years ago being the owner's sister came up to seat us with a portable phone jammed in her ear. Things went downhill from that. I ordered the "Old Favorite" breakfast with coffee and home fries and my wife wanted the honey bun. The kid continued to bring toys up to our table and we nervously made small talk with him. Then as other people came in and sat he went to their tables and disturbed their train of thought as well. Don't get me wrong.....I have grandchildren his age that I adore but when I sit down to eat in a place where I pay for food it shouldn't be a facility that depends somewhat on the customers to entertain some employee's child. Secondly, my home fried potatoes were cold, and old. Horrible, didn't eat them. Still, the lady remained on the phone, never checked on us, and never brought my wife her bun. I sat and ate my food at my wife's insistence before the rest of it could get cold and she sat waiting, just waiting. The cook came out of the kitchen and I flagged him down and I asked him for my wife's order and he commented that "she" would bring it out while nodding towards the lady manager still yakking on the phone. It was clear that he never informed anyone that our order had not been filled. My wife asked to leave so we went up to pay and stood at the register for a while and no one came to help us. Finally I tapped the bell and "she" came out to check us out and then realized my wife had not gotten her honey bun. Her apology was that she had been tied up on the phone with her sister and her accountant. She did offer to bag the bun and send it with us at no charge. We declined. It is so sad that a memorable piece of the West Jefferson restaurant history has slipped so much into decline. What a warm, friendly, service oriented place Sweet Aromas used to be.....when we left the area three years ago Sweet Aromas was one of the establishments we hated most to leave. Now that we are back in the area, we won't be wasting time to go into a day care atmosphere restaurant that cannot complete a simple order. So sad.
