Inside there is a large projector to watch sports games, and another smaller room where they were having a bingo event. It's a great place with a variety of areas to sit and hang out.

Stopped by the Roasterie Cafe on our last trip to Kansas City. When you arrive there is plenty of…read moreparking in the parking lot across the street. The area is a bit run down but don't let that deter you from stopping in. Outside there is an old 1943 dc-3 on top of the building as a tribute coffee, aviation, and the company's roots. The plane is named after the founder's mother "Betty". It's also a nod to how the company "air roasts" their coffee. When you walk in the vibe feels industrial, aviation-themed, and cozy. I ordered a caramel latte and asked for it to be served in a ceramic. The coffee was excellent as always and this is my go to coffee shop in Kansas City. If you are in the area I highly recommend stopping in for a cup of coffee. Also, there are certain days where you can tour the factory if you are interested in that as well.

The space is very bright and cute - great for a visit to read or doodle (I did a little doodling of the shop during my visit). They even have a little shop area with some super cute and unique KC gear. I had a hot hazelnut latte and it was just okay, the flavor was pretty bland in my opinion and it was automatically served in a to go cup which bums me out. I like to sit and enjoy my coffee right there and love a good hot mug, it's part of the visit experience to me. The cute shop and incredible staff made my visit itself great overall, but the coffee could be leveled up a bit. Nonetheless, I would visit again :)

I do appreciate the good quality though and thankfully had some time to kill. It isn't a place I would go if I was in a rush, but it great place to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. There wasn't a line when I went in, but there were quite a bit of people seated around. I got an iced hazelnut oat latte that tasted great. Next time I'm in the area I will definitely bring my laptop and hang out.
