One of my favorite local wineries and one of the only ones! I went and did the paint and sip and had a blueberry wine slushy. Yum!!!!! I had such a great time! 10/10 would recommend. They always have something fun going on!

I've been here before. Nice little winery. Had a bottle of Voodoo wine which was pretty good. Two mixed slushes with peach and blackberry were very good. Gumbofest celebration was fun and gumbo wasn't bad either.

An updated review is long overdue...I come here at least 5 or 6 times a year. It's my favorite spot to meet for with business colleagues... I'd much rather have a late afternoon glass of wine than another coffee meetup!! Afternoons here are great, not very busy, plenty of parking and they play great music. Today it's a cold January day and the fireplace is keeping the leather sofa seating area nice and toasty. I'm a sucker for the Lime and Peculiarita wines... Pucker up and enjoy! I've brought some out of town wine connoisseurs and had mixed reviews but in the end they all found a variety they loved.

Let me start this review off with a disclaimer: I don't like wine. Now that that's out of the way... how did I find myself in the middle of nowhere Peculiar, MO at a winery when I'm not a wine drinker? If you see my profile, my home is on wheels... and we needed an overnight stop on our way to our next destination, so I turned to Harvest Hosts and discovered this gem of a place. The owner was delightful. Fun, engaging, knowledgeable and a good storyteller. (We LOVE good storytellers!) The grounds are gorgeous. If you're there in the evening, be sure to step outside and see the sunset! And the wine? Well, I DID taste it... and I've never had a wine slushie so... OH. MY. GOD. The slushie. I could potentially become a day drinker if more people make slushies like that! It was passionfruit (so fresh it wasn't even on the menu yet) and it was epic! Couple that with the locally-made summer sausage & cheese tray and, well, I had wine, cheese & sausage for dinner. And it was delicious!

We came for their Gumbofest to celebrate Mardi Gras. A big bowl of gumbo was perfect for a gloomy February afternoon. The ambiance was cozy and welcoming. I don't know if I picked the best wine as I didn't care for it however I am more than willing to come back and try again.

Common area, very warm and inviting.

First but not last visit. Great atmosphere and great tasting experience. Don't forget the wine slushes! Delicious wines!

Came in to get a wine slushy today! They were very fast and very friendly. Called in and ordered and 1 minutes later they took payment and delivered our drinks! The wine is great! Lots of fun activities they plan on Friday night with food trucks and music! They also have great wine tasting deals and gifts! This place is definitely worth the stop right off of the highway hidden!

This place is always happening, it's great for Peculiar -believe it's the first winery. There wine is pretty good and I really enjoy their wine slushies! It's also very cheap. The only thing is they are slower at serving with it's busy. The staff could be a bit more friendly or excited. But they do have live music and food trucks during special events.

Fun packed house of wine and music.

Friendly service and a very diverse selection of local wines. They also had live music (country).

We attended a baby shower here this weekend, hosted by a woman who is 36 weeks pregnant, for a guest of honor who is also in her third trimester. Despite the indoor dining area being completely empty--we were literally the only customers in the establishment until 2:00 PM--management stubbornly refused to let our group sit inside. Their excuse? Our "party size was too big." Instead of showing an ounce of flexibility or basic human decency, they forced a heavily pregnant host and her guests to sit outside during an active Heat Warning. It was 93°F outside with a heat index making it feel like 105°F. This isn't just a matter of poor customer service; it's a severe health and safety hazard. Forcing women who are weeks away from their due dates to endure triple-digit heat index conditions while indoor, air-conditioned tables sit completely vacant is downright negligent. It showed a shocking lack of empathy. When we finally went inside just to take a few photos before leaving, it was confirmed that the space was completely unused. To value arbitrary, nonsensical "rules" over the medical safety and comfort of your patrons is a miserable way to run a business. We will never be back, and I strongly advise anyone planning an event to look elsewhere--unless you want a venue that treats its customers with absolute disregard.

I did the 3-glass wine tasting, which was very reasonably priced, and they also offer a 5-glass tasting option. The Caramel Apple and Peach Moscato were AMAZING. Service was pretty good -- a bit slow at times which is worrisome because there was basically no one there. Hope they speed it up when there are crowds. The wine though, is atrocious. I have a background/education in wine and drink it often and this may be some of the worst wine I've ever tasted. My advise, go for the atmosphere, food, and cocktails. Pretend the wine doesn't even exist. If they didn't consider themselves a winery, I would give them a 4 but you can't be a winery with terrible wine and get a 4/5

The wine tasting gives you four glasses from one of these categories: red, white, and sweet. Afterwards you get to choose which one you want a full glass of. Their flatbreads taste good and there is a good variety of options. I would prefer a larger sized portion even if at a few dollars more. Their crepes tasted great. Their 3 egg omelette is the most refined one I've had to date. Despite being outside, the waitress was great in stopping and checking on us. Want to do a wine tasting and have children? What a friendly place for that. The view is beautiful outside with a small pond. There is a "petting zoo" with plenty of friendly animals. Come visit them.
