    I this place!

I absolutely love, love, love this store! Working on a project? Need decorating items? Planning a party? Maybe a little inspiration? Do you love art? How about decorating cakes? You can find items here under those questions or categories! I teach children of all ages and this is my go to when I need props that will help with the lessons. I always find what I need here! Of course, it doesn't hurt to look up the needed items on the website prior to arriving but let me just warn you; do the best you can if you're trying to keep a budget! I love interior decorating, design and all those fuzzy things my husband tries to avoid but they have about every inspirational item you can think of regarding decorating! I love art and I get a little artsy inspiration when I shop here! Great place, greatly organized and just lovely customer service, they really put a smile on my face!

She Charged me $2.49 for 24 items that clearly say $1.24.

Rude uneducated Cashiers ! I was Overcharged I Pointed Out She was overcharging me as she was typing the price in with The Red Sticker Clear As Day had the Price! She had an attitude said she knew what she was doing. After she was done I had to get right back in line & get a refund! The refund was also incorrect! Do she had to do it twice ! I have NOT received my refund! I use to shop here often I will not anymore nor will my family friends & clients. Anne Marie was the cashier. I find it crazy how she mention I looked very young. So I felt like maybe she thought I was young & dumb!

Dixon Ticonderoga Company - I really enjoy their website. Posted with review 04/30/22

Visiting the Art Supply Store was one highlight of my weekend. The company offers a number of brands, with one of the most well-known being Ticonderoga: the yellow No. 2 pencil. The important thing to know is you can order online. They have a great website you can access through this business page! A little background and information on this historic company. The company was formed by the merger of Joseph Dixon Crucible Company of New Jersey with Bryn Mawr Corporation of Pennsylvania, dating to 1795. The company was founded by Joseph Dixon and his son. The pencil's name originated from the graphite ore discovered on Lead Mountain in 1815 and processed in Ticonderoga, New York. When you were in school were you often told to use a Number 2 pencil? I feel like it's still a necessity to this very day. I always have a supply on hand. It's necessary to keep a pencil sharpener too. I don't have anything fancy. Mine is a cheap little plastic pencil sharpener. It does the job. I'm recommending you visit the website. I'm recommending this pencil when you want the best pencil. I appreciate the eraser on the end. I'm known to make a lot of mistakes!!

Whether it's true or not, I just find that I think more clearly and creatively scratching lead to paper than sitting at a keyboard being mocked by a blinking cursor or some indeterminate pronoun cartoon masquerading as a helpful AI avatar built into the program. And for as long as I can remember, Dixon Ticonderoga pencils were my sword of choice. I tried mechanical pencils and all (especially the throwaway plastic variety) just didn't cut it, undermined by fragile lead constantly breaking under the full weight of my thoughts (kidding.) Ticonderoga was it... balanced, consistent and filled with carbon that had a backbone. I still use them but something has definitely changed. Dixon sold out to a European conglomerate about ten years ago and my favorite sticks are now made in China. They look the same but the lead has been downgraded and the erasers no longer easily dispatch a mistake. Having no better alternative, I suspect I'll still maintain some semblance of loyalty because I just hate Bill Gates alter ego grinning back at me like a madman from my laptop. Nothing is sacred, even the humble pencil. Three defeated stars. Many thanks to my friend Marianne W. for the inspiration.

Although it's…read moreorganized, they don't have enough employees going around and resetting items after customers go through the aisles. The also have more stuff than they should, so there's not enough safe space to display it all. This place is a mess. So be prepared. I had a store credit, from a return I made probably ten years ago. I was very pleased that the card still had the amount that was written on it in black marker. It had not depreciated, as historically some gift cards would. The card was so old, she had to manually type it in. lol. Oops. I hate shopping. I went without a cart, because i knew if i had a cart, I would fill it with useless things. I went for a butter dish. I found several styles. I ended up getting one Christmas theme butter dish and one every day styled butter dish. I grabbed a pack of cocktail napkins and that was it. Mission accomplished. I did spend some time looking at the Christmas stuff, the holiday sweaters, the backpacks and bags, and the many sale aisles. You could spend hours here. Luckily, I went online first to see if they even had butter dishes. So I knew that they had some before I went there. Parking is plentiful. There's plenty of registers to get you checked out in a timely fashion. They pack up your items carefully. It is a great store but I gotta be careful when I go there- I just want to buy everything!

The employees are ok, nothing notable. The ONLY downside is I would NOT go during the weekends or peak hours or holidays. The line for checkout is crazy long and I do not have the patience for it. I enjoy going 1st thing in the morning on weekends or during dinner time during the week.
