Upon said completion of the job there are several obvious issues including some damage to a new driveway, siding that was poorly cut and not completely attached to the house, and weather stripping that was deemed to be reusable which meant carelessly pried off and cut to a size that no longer fits properly. I contacted Steve with my concerns and he was adamant about having completed the job properly but he soon followed up stating that there were some issues. After agreeing to fix the problems Steve then wanted me to drive to Home Depot to pick up the supplies needed for the repairs before he would come to my home to fix the work. After yet another lengthy conversation Steve finally agreed to pick up the supplies which two hours later led to him texting me wanting to return the down payment for the job and to remove the damaged materials from my house leaving me with more damage. Since then Steve has become passive aggressive on the phone, taken the funds for the down payment, and made no attempt to rectify this situation. "40yrs I finally met the guy every contractor dreads. This was my guy. Yikes" Well if that isn't the typical response I'd expect as I've used the service I found Steve on several times prior and never had an issue with any of the other contractors. They were all professionals who did incredible work and got the jobs done without a single issue.

They sent Amir who was very kind and professional. He showed up on time. He worked quite quickly. He found the problem, bought the parts, and fixed my issue. He had to come back to grout as the tiles needed to dry. He showed up on time the second time and also worked quickly. Luckily the issue was just in the baseboard and Amir explained how the damage happened and made sure to seal everything well. However, we would not recommend their service, unless for emergency because of the the lack of transparancy with the fees and charges. We were quoted $800 + materials for a job that actually took 4 hours, and they charged us the higher amount rather than adjust our fee to the actual time, which was much less than quoted by the administrative person based on a picture that we sent. It's clear that they are looking to make a quick dollar and not retain customers!.

When he showed for the job, he was professional and fixed the attic door. It had a bent arm, and we were losing heat because the door didn't fully close. He spent time adjusting the springs and replaced (both) side arms to keep the weight and tension evenly distributed. He got it done and we were pleased with the end result. DRIED PAINT ON CARPET: The 2nd task was to remove spilled, dried in paint on carpet. We tried everything ourselves to clean up the stain, and even rented, "Rug Doctor". We thought our only hope was to remove the carpet and tile that floor to match our other floors. Jacop said that he thought he could remove the stains, and to our amazement, he got it done with a wire brush and the appropriate stain removal for dried in paint. Jacop saved us a lot of money, and thanks to his honesty and problem solving, we didn't have to tile that room after all. It looks like there was never any stains on that carpet. We are incredibly happy with the end result and the money he saved us on not having to tile that room! Jacop is not only efficient, but also honest. Thank goodness that he came up with a solution, rather than hitting us with an expensive tile job. We appreciated his honesty, which is rare these days! He's a very nice person and we would use his services again.

Jim and his crew were great to work with. He was a very thoughtful planner, always thinking of little things to make our designs better (ex: "What if we extended the wainscoting around the corner to carry the flow?" and "We should use a larger handle on this cabinet so that it doesn't put stress on the wood.") He definitely has an eye for detail. He ran a tight ship, making sure that his crew cleaned up at the end of the day and organized all of their tools, as we were living in the house during the project and the last thing we wanted was a messy and hazardous area.
