Meijer, get your ish together. It was 8am on a Sunday. They said I could go into the store and break it and come back. Well, can't you just ask for change from the cash window then? Yes, yes you can. They post their sales flyer on their Facebook page each week. I came in wanting to purchase some steaks that were on sale. Based on how low the per pound price was, I wasn't expecting much. But the steaks were lean and looked really great. They have a large selection of Amish prepared foods. Lots of jellies, etc. I also was impressed with the large number of Walnut Creek spice blends they offered. I can't wait to try them. The store was very neat and well laid out. They are beautiful stores that are well kept up, the staff is excellent, very friendly and very helpful. Obviously, the stores are nowhere near as big as the supermarkets, however, they do provide a nice selection of items. Obviously not as broad of a selection, but they certainly have everything you would need from a market. I like coming here to get vegetables and fruit, as well as when I just need to grab a few things on the way home. Prices are similar to other markets, and for the atmosphere, which never feels crowded, is a great choice.

You ask them for help and they will actually stop what they are doing and direct you where you can find what you are looking for, if they don't know they ask someone or look it up. Very different than in other Walmart's I have been inside in Florida... where you are lucky to find an employee outside a register and they do not help you. Also when you live in an area where it gets really cold... you love the fact Walmart will actually bring your groceries to your vehicle. Nevertheless, I do notice that often when I come in here the store shelves are sparse. For example, I recently came last weekend into the Walmart because I needed to buy a litter box and litter for my cat. There were almost none left and the litter area was also starting to run out. I then tried looking for hard food for my cat, and her brand ,Science Diet, wasn't even sold. It's either that or I just couldn't find it on the shelf. If the shelves were full more often, I would definitely give this place a much higher rating.
