From my first visits, I presented the doctor with a distinct swelling and heaviness behind my knee that started right after the injury. During my second visit, right before he ordered the second MRI, he physically examined the swelling with his own hands and suggested it might be a lipoma rather than a Baker's cyst. Because my pain temporarily subsided but the heavy swelling remained, we moved forward with that second MRI.When I returned to address the persistent swelling, the doctor completely denied his own physical findings from that second exam, claiming he 'had no documentation' of it and gaslit me by suggesting the swelling magically appeared after the first MRI. When the second MRI came back clear of a cyst or lipoma, instead of doing his job as a specialist to investigate the actual physical trauma, he dismissively told me, 'This is just how your body looks, it's a cosmetic issue and not my job.'When confronted with facts, his attitude became incredibly toxic, arrogant, and defensive. He told me to 'go find another doctor' if I didn't like his opinion and demanded 'proof' that the swelling was from the injury--ignoring the fact that he was the one treating the injury from day one! To make matters worse, his unprofessional behavior continued even as I was leaving the office. Avoid this doctor at all costs if you expect clinical accountability, accurate documentation, or basic human respect."

They do not have operating hours listed on their website, nor do they have an instructional answering message. Had they answered our phone call we would have known and not wasted a trip, or arrived earlier. Ironic thing is they advertise themselves as specializing in "weekend athlete sports injuries" -- but yet they're closed almost all weekend... go figure. Aside from this fiasco, I would have expected a positive experience again, though I ended up seeing a different specialist.

He said that the remedy was a $1700 out of pocket treatment. My intuition told me differently. I went to PT and found out I had a sprained ankle and hip rotation that was throwing off my gait, both causing all the pain. They taped my ankle and have me doing different exercise to rebalance and get stronger and the pain is 95% gone at this point with still a few sessions to go. I have a healthy distrust of healthcare professionals born from experiences like this. I dodged a $1700 bullet. Dr. Adams was able to get me in on short notice, took x Ray's and broke everything down so I understood what was going and had setup my treatment plan along with some recommendations on how to help better maintain my regained health. It was a slow process but sure enough my mobility returned and I was able to go back to running and exercising and even was able to run an obstacle course race!! Not only was I back to what I felt was normal but through our visits I was able to increase my grip strength, and flexibility.
