I had a white pimple with no pore, i had a forein object ( maybe a sliver) in the side of the middle of my foot, and showed him a small skin colored mole on my forearm. Doc treated all the same by freezing. now, i am scared with th same problems?? still have pimple, sliver, and a huge gouge out of my forearm. i would have ather had the invisable mole. Find another dermatology office. 10-20-24 Way too busy here. Sat there forever. Rushed, forgot to numb 2nd biopsy site, had to remind the medical assistant, as she was walking out the door. Rushed medical exam (body check), not thorough at all! AT ALL!* Took care of other patients, when it was my turn. Told me to put on a gown, disappeared for 1/2 an hour! Forgot to send prescriptions to pharmacy. Walked away with no knowledge, no time to even talk. One star rating. read more

This doctor is a piece of garbage. Disrespectful of the patient's time. Had an 8 AM appointment, specifically requested a first in appointment. Two patients were let in ahead of me. I was assured by the front desk people that I would be seen at 8 o'clock sharp, by 8:10 there was no indication that I would be. I took my paperwork back and I left. Why are doctors so disrespectful of their patient's time? Patients are required to show up at a specific time and some doctors even charge for lateness. I will be sending this doctor a $50 bill for my time and I will take him to small claims court if he refuses to pay. Stay away from this creep. read more

I had a skin cancer removed in April 2021. Unfortunately, it came back in 2023. Dermotology had new management, I went back to Thomas Dermotology. Biopsy was done on the same mohs surgery site on September 11, 2023. Biopsy site would not heal, had a (punch biopsy). Was told biopsy was scar tissue. 1st after visit for not healing. Dr. Knudsen gave me triamcinolone.01%. Went back to Doctor Erin Knudsen 2nd wound visit for the wound, not healing. She says I'll give you mupirosin ointment. 3rd visit she gave me antibiotic, still no improvement. I went to different Dermotology, had another punch biopsy done. It turns out I have squamous cell carcinoma. NOT SCAR TISSUE.. The picture added to this post gave dates meds were given an what they were. AND! all this was charged to my insurance and myself. How disappointing to wait 5-6 months not knowing. Shame on you Thomas Detmotology and the doctor. read more

I have to say that this is a fantastic dermatology clinic. I have been going there for more than a decade, even when it was another practice name. Doctor Dulaut, who now only sees patients at the clinic who require special operative techniques (MOHS surgery) is the best Dermatologist ever. As things have evolved, I began to see Dr. Novack (Knudson) who also is fantastic in the breadth of her knowledge. Ask her about any artifact on your body that is not normal and she knows exactly what it is and how to treat it. I can't say enough about the efficiency and expertise of this staff. read more

Made appointment to see an actual doctor with a degree in medicine six months in advance and was cancelled by their staff 2 hours before appointment with no rescheduling offered for another month. When I complained about this a woman named Kelly banned me, in writing, from their practice even though I had been seeing various doctors at their facility for 10 years and had cancer removed via 3 operations prior to this change in management. I WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND ANY POTENTIAL PATIENCE DO DUE DILIGENCE PRIOR TO SEEING THIS MEDICAL STAFF and insist on seeing a medical doctor with a degree. read more

I have never reviewed a business negatively before, but after my experience this morning at Thomas Dermatology I am going to. I went had a skin cancer on my ear surgically removed in September there. I had a biopsy done over the summer and it came it back cancer. I waited until my Medicare and new Blue Shield / Blue Cross supplement checked it to have the surgery. I want to note the staff past the front desk was super professional. I went in this morning for a three month check. I was told I would have to pay for the visit because my provider no longer takes my supplement. This was a follow for the surgery. I was told by one person after she used her calculator that my part would be 20 percent of 100 dollars or 20 dollars. I was frustrated but tried to give her my bank card. She said I would do that after my visit. Again the staff past the front desk were very professional. When I went to check out. The second person said the charge for today was $87.00. Because I hadn't met my Medicare deductible. I felt it is not my problem that the provider no longer took my insurance for a surgery they were paid for this was a simple follow up. I was there to ask about some cosmetic surgeries but after today and there unprofessional attitudes I will be going some else. read more

What a sincerely pleasant experience considering it was a Doctors appointment! The Staff were so friendly Brittany checked me in and even helped me with my new patient paperwork as I had forgotten my glasses. My MA Hannah made me feel very comfortable about getting a full skin check. The PA Erin Knudsen is WONDERFUL! I have been dealing with a "rash" for years and today I was actually DIAGNOSED!!! During my visit I also met the Eryn the lead MA who introduced herself and just assured me if I needed anything to reach out. I checked out with Danika who like the rest was just a delight! My spouse had a punch biopsy done to his face several times that did not heal last year. DR Thomas tried to suture the wound but it just opened larger, now HE has a large open wound that the doctor PROMISED it would be fixed. HE sent us to his Lake Havasu office to have a different MD check the wound but he wanted us to go to Utah or Mayo clinic in Phoenix. Mayo rejected us. So we then went to another MD in Lake Havasu via referral and they want us to go to Tucson, Arizona. We can't pay to travel that far and Dr Thomas doesn't seen to care. HE hasn't provided any wound care or supplies to help maintain the wound that he made so large. It has been over a year now and we are very disappointed. read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I'm a new patient and I was told to come at 12:30 pm to fill out paperwork for a 1:30 appointment. Ok, I did. What they didn't tell me was they're closed until 1pm. Maybe it was a ha ha moment for them. 1pm finally comes and I sign in. They call my name and they give me one piece of paper to fill out. Then they told me they gave me the wrong paperwork, fine, they gave me another piece of paper. Now comes the wait. People started coming in and one woman comes in and tells them she has a 1:30 appointment. She is given the same piece of paper as was given to me, but she was called at 1:35. Five more people were call and I went to the counter and inquired if I was forgotten and I was told that I was a new patient. I walked out because if they treat new patients like that, I don't want to be their patient. read more

I go see Dr Thomas for Eczema I have on my arm and leg, and they have been treating me last few months and every I go there the Front staff is so wonderful and works with you with your appointments. And The people that work with the doctors our so wonderful and careful. They care for there patients. I had Katie for my last visit and she is very professional. Amanda Office lead And Brittany, I had an incident outside with my car. I was very upset and an freaked out Amanda saw what happened and rushed out to calm me down. She was wonderful. I went in to check a couple of spots on my face. Dr. Vidinha was very professional and did an inspection not only of my face, but my full torso arms and head (l'm bald). She froze off a few things and took a biopsy on my face under my eye. The results came back within a two weeks and I was scheduled in for surgery a few weeks later. The surgery was handled by the specialist there, and the stitching by a cosmetic specialist. All in all it was a great experience. read more

If you are having any facial work performed, I would not recommend this facility to anyone. I expressed great concern about the "closure of the procedure" after the removal of skin, prior to the any work being performed. It must have went in one ear and out the other. I was put in another room where a helper came in and pulled these Frankenstein stiches through my nose like he was working on an old leather belt. Took him approximately 3 minutes. Needless to say, I now have a huge scar on the front of my nose. They say nothing can be done at this time, scaring takes up to a year to heel before any corrective cosmetic surgery can be performed. They also mentioned that the blood vessel that supplies that area of the nose was cut and sealed, so any cosmetic grafting might not be possible. They said I should come back in several months and be re-evaluated. The doctor was so nice, I didn't know what to say. Why do I feel like I have been violated? read more
