Since moving to AZ in 2021, I have been overwhelmingly impressed and appreciative of the treatment…read moreI have received for several Carcinoma removal surgeries, especially with Jamie Gillette in that Kingman office....UNTIL TODAY... I arrived today for a check up appointment that was scheduled six months ago. I was told that my referral had expired and the clinic would be unable to see me. I have had nine cancer surgeries in the past several years with at least five or six at that office. This is ongoing until I die. The only time I had ever seen the primary physician Chelsea Presbey, was when I initially arrived in AZ to establish my Cigna HMO insurance. I asked the desk person to contact the primary physician's office to straighten out the referral to approve my office visit. She told me that she was unable to obtain the referral hence leave without the check up/appointment being performed. I later contacted the HMO referral department for Dr. Presbey and was told that they would submit a new referral without seeing Dr. Presbey. I expressed my displeasure with the treatment/lack of assistance at the Skin Cancer Institute earlier in the day and requested a referral to a different dermatologist in Kingman. The Skin Cancer Institute in Kingman was great....not any longer. As much as I have been a fan of Jamie Gillette, I will seek treatment elsewhere. YMMV.

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!!! They have not used the correct billing codes with my current insurance…read morecompany for treatment "the beginning of January 2026". They are good and consistent at sending text messages asking for payment. I have responded multiple times to the text messages asking for someone from billing to contact me, show me a billing statement, ANYTHING! Only to get a "generic message" saying the billing department is "too busy". I finally rec'd a statement from my insurance provider showing me the error on the part of S & C Inst. I spoke with my insurance rep (2/17) said the billing codes were incorrect and that S & K Inst. had been contacted for what correct codes to use. Plus, she said I was not to pay them because I did not owe them anything. I immediately called billing at S & C Inst and spoke with Tyrese. He did whatever he was supposed to do and get it to his supervisor about using the correct billing codes and I would receive a call back. Doing my monthly home budgeting this morning and looking at my credit card bill I find that S & K Inst has hit my Credit card with multiple payments last week. Two posted and one was rejected. I have exhausted all resources with S & C Inst billing dept. No one has made any attempt to get a hold of me for almost two months now. God forbid someone do their job, follow up with a personal phone call, fix the billing code to get this resolved, ANYTHING! Also, my husband was getting billed $35 for his last office visit. On the same call with Tyrese, he said that Medicare had not been billed for that and that he would be taking care of that. I call that a "billing error". Same thing there, we responded to every text message that was sent and got the same message. We made multiple requests for someone to contact us. Nothing but the sound of crickets chirping. Let me add, we are "literally forced to use the phone app". No big deal but trying to research billing on our accounts all we get is "OOPS! Something went wrong" repeatedly. As a couple we have exhausted all resources with no effort on the part of S & C Inst. billing department to help resolve our billing issues. Therefore, we are going this route using "Yelp" in hopes of getting resolved.
