From the beginning, I expected a professional, diligent approach -- especially since my original implant surgery with another surgeon left my breasts with a clean, symmetrical finish and a well-done outline around the nipple area. In contrast, this experience felt careless. After the explant, I noticed that the nipples were not closed out with any attention to detail. The stitching was uneven and poorly done, and it seems like the surgeon completely ignored the original clean outline left by my previous doctor -- something that should have been very simple to follow. Now I'm left with deformed nipples and scars that look rushed and unprofessional. What's worse is the energy at my final post-op appointment. When he unwrapped the bandages, he looked at me and said, "This is what you wanted," in a very condescending and dismissive tone. That interaction made me feel like my choice to remove my implants was not respected -- like I was being punished for it. This has been physically and emotionally upsetting. I trusted this doctor to handle my body with care and respect, and I did not receive that. I strongly urge others to research thoroughly and ensure they're choosing a surgeon who not only has skill, but also compassion. I hope you DO NOT go to Dr. Lechtman for implant removal surgery. I should have been a lot more careful and considered the mistake he made 9 months ago to another client of his - please read her review as well. I really want to salute everyone working there, especially the front desk folks like Louis, Vanessa, and a couple of others, these are so very professionals, polite and ready to help anyone who walks inside their clinic, with a big smiling face. (I could see them happy and smiling even though they are all geared up with masks.) what a nice experience. Also, I would like to write a couple of lines for CLARISSA ALVARADO, who leaves no stone unturn to treat her patients, she is a very knowledgeable and a very happy person, hilarious, kind and very Professional. I loved every minute spent at this clinic. I feel people living in Visalia, who have any Dermatological conditions to be treated should and MUST visit CLARISSA ALVARADO and this clinic is a real Blessings to VISALIA. Two weeks later when I arrived at the appointment I was told my appointment was canceled and that they do not take new clients after 3:30pm. A few thoughts: why was I given an appointment at 4:30 if that was not available? After telling them why I wanted the 4:30 time slot due to my job, why wasn't I alerted this wasn't an option? Why wasn't I contacted about a possible cancellation? After asking all these questions, I was told they called twice from an unknown number-- but no voicemail was left. As a teacher, I do not answer my phone between the hours of 7:30-3:30pm. Without a voicemail or text from an unknown number, I do not dial back. When I said that I cannot make the appointment time before 4:15, they said bye-bye. In recap, they did not email me or leave a voicemail saying they were cancelling my appointment. I had to drive from out of town to find out they cancelled my appointment without my knowledge and would not see me. Extremely unprofessional.
