Hunter contacted me within a few days of making a deposit and kept in constant contact while waiting out the weather and my work schedule. We met at the selected time and place and after some brief conversation we headed to the river. River fishing is very new to me. We talked how how to wade safely especially on the slippery and muddy conditions and how to safely wade unfamiliar water. We got started by Hunter evaluating my rig then watched my casting offering tips and suggestions throughout. We discussed different methods from streamers to nymphing as well as how to fish riffles or not. All in all I feel I got a tremendous amount of info from an experienced angler that I could ask questions as they came up and not just a YouTube video. The best advice though was to get out and do it! I felt as if I was fishing with my brother! Thanks Hunter!

Rather than order online, we figured we'd mosey down to the shop since we were already in the area. It's a small store, but everything is nicely laid out and neatly organized. They seemed to be well-stocked with sizes too - they even carried XS in some shirts, which was incredible to see (being a small fellow myself). Most t-shirts were reasonably priced between 15 and 20 and are buttery soft. They've also got a nice selection of jerseys, youth sizes, scarves, and other accessories like koozies, keychains, and pint glasses. The only negative I have was the guy working. Didn't even seem to notice us walk in, didn't ask if we needed help finding anything. We asked how much bandanas were since there was no sign... he "pfft" at us and said he thought they were 8 bucks. Then begrudgingly got up from his laptop to check the price, and reported back that they're actually $10. Come on, guy. There are like twenty-five items in your store. How do you not know the prices? Anyway, small gripe.
