Dr Biscotti is a class professional. I have been a patient for 10 years and have never had an issue with his level of treatment. The office staff are extremely polite and the hygienist's are extremely thorough. Luckily, I've never had a cavity under his treatment but did have a cracked tooth repaired once as well as a chip filled in from a night of eating blue crabs. The repairs have been permanent and were handled with such care. If you live around Mountain Top, you won't find a better dentist. I highly recommend this practice. If I could give more than 5 stars, I definitely would. read more

Do not use for children:( Went in and our child is apprehensive due to previous dental surgery and asks alot of questions. She got through an adapted cleaning (sitting up with a brush) then started on scaling the teeth. The hygenist nicked her with the tool and as such she became upset. We, tried to calm her down but it was suggested we go out to the waiting room so they could try which made her even more upset. Prior to her surgery for caps our child NEVER had an issue with the dentist (she has been going since she was 2 and she is now 8) even during the one visit to her old dentist after the surgery. It is only since switching to this office that she is apprehensive since it is new staff. They do not seem interested in fixing the issue and instead the "dentist" on duty didn't even bother to come in and see her we were just ushered out with a recommendation to a pediatric dentist. Very disappointment with treatment as it is understandable that a child becomes upset when you nick her and her gum is bleeding and that has never happened in any previous appointment at a dentist in the past. We were originally happy we found a new local dentist for our family dentistry needs (we had been driving an hour to our previous one) but it looks like we will be looking for a new one again now. read more

I would not recommend this dentist to anyone. I scheduled a dental exam. What did this consist of? A few x-rays, and then the "exam". Biscotti pulled my cheeks out, glanced at my teeth with his naked eyes (no magnifying lenses, light, or anything) and then told me that yes, I needed to have a crown replaced and a filling replaced--the two teeth I had already informed him that I was having trouble with. He did not pick up a single tool, did not check my gums, did not check for soft spots, did not check the integrity of old fillings (and unfortunately I have a lot!), and did not even recommend a teeth cleaning. I questioned him on whether the crown really needed to be replaced, or whether the margins could be repaired. He balked at my questioning him, sat me back down, FINALLY picked up a tool for about 10 sec's, and then told me no. I left the office a bit bewildered and thought they must not have put me down for a full exam. I waited until I received a bill, and when I was billed for a full exam, I called. The receptionist was extremely defensive when I mentioned there must have been a miscommunication because I did not get a full exam. (And not surprising, few weeks after my exam I noticed a cavity at my gum line that he had missed.) Shortly afterwards, I received a very unprofessional letter from the Biscotti saying I must have been unhappy with his treatment since I didn't schedule an appointment (which I wasn't about to if that visit was considered a thorough exam), and basically saying I'd better find another dentist quickly because emergeny treatment can be hard to find on short notice. I certainly would not have gone back even if I had the worst toothache on the planet and he was the only dentist available to treat me. read more
