A series of brainstorming sessions full of laughter and whimsical at their offices, narrowing down the details as to the photos we kindly asked to be taken during the first-look and later after the ceremony during the cocktail hour (and with any vendor we would recommend that you be specific as possible and convey succinctly in writing what it is you're looking for and want), Mariah and Trish, having familiarity with our venue, were able to keep things well organized on our wedding day. They captured the best perspectives while also putting to great use the natural light and lens flares, all the while keeping our 2-year-old, precocious niece occupied and happy throughout the photography shoots. That says a lot and that takes a lot when having to deal with multiple, somewhat un-attentive family members and friends as well. The after-shots we received within about 2 to 3 months after the event were well organized and breath-takingly awesome, easy to view, download, and share with family and friends on the internet. A first-cut of our ordered album shortly thereafter. We are certainly pleased with choosing Mariah and Trish and would do so again in a heart-beat.

I had, so far as I knew, already hired Snap! to photograph my wedding, until they pulled a bait-and-switch. After I had spoken with a member of their team, agreed via email that I would hire her, received an email response back about how exited she were to work with me, and another email indicating from the company's owner telling me a contract would be sent out to me first thing the next day, I instead ultimately received a curt email letting me know that another couple had signed a contract for my same date that very morning and so no one from their team was available to work with me. Every other photographer I've spoken with has been kind enough to let me know when someone else even inquired about their availability on my date, while Snap! never indicated to me at all that anyone else had asked about that date, let alone that there was another contract being drafted or already floating out there, ready to be signed by another unsuspecting couple. They are totally unprofessional (not even returning my phone call, just responding with brief emails) and I would not recommend them to anyone.

She does a great job with the photographs but also making clients feel comfortable knowing that it is not a natural thing for those of us who are generally uncomfortable with our picture being taken. Her rates are VERY reasonable. She does a combination of oufits/jewelry, hair in front/to the side, indoors/outdoors. I haven't received the finished product yet but even the proofs came out nice! Tips I learned from getting my photograph taken: yes to getting my hair done and makeup professionally done. If you have long hair, wear some photos of your hair framing your face and keep it simple with the clothing - solid color and textures don't always translate. Also, keep jackets buttoned up as they can gape in an unflattering manner if you are a female with a chest. These tips have nothing to do with Maura's skill at taking photographs (she is, indeed, very skilled) but more to do with you doing your part to ensure a good end result. She is renowned for her editing abilities so I can't wait to get the final photographs but the unedited ones were really good and I am as unphotogenic as they come. If I ever need to take a professional photograph in the future, I wouldn't hesitate to contact Maura. She was very pleasant to work with and talented at her craft. Her rates were very reasonable ($225 for over an hr photo shoot and 5 edited photogpraphs)!

We viewed her website and fell in love with her style of photography. So natural and so beautiful. The first time we met with Rachel we instantly clicked. She has such a wonderful easy-going and bubbly personality that I just adore about her. We knew she was "the one!" We recently had our engagement session with her in Boston (in the middle of the city, SURROUNDED by people) and we were so nervous that it would be awkward and uncomfortable. But after a few shots were taken we felt totally relaxed. Rachel has this incredible gift that seems to make herself and everyone else around become completely invisable! My fiance and I felt like it was just us, hanging out, enjoying the day in town. And of course Rachel would help us with poses and found some beautiful spots for the pictures.
