Daily communication occurred (often multiple times during a given day) on a Prestige-created text thread. We virtually always knew where the project was on the timeline and were never left wondering. When circumstances arose with a given subcontractor's schedule, Carter let us know in advance. He had already figured out how he would deal with the situation (or had already dealt with it). The subcontractors were always kind, respectful, competent in their various trades, and respectful of our home. We had two bathrooms completely remodeled (one of them was also enlarged), a hardwood floor installed in three bedrooms and a game room, doorways widened and new doors installed. The existing deck was enlarged and screened in (using materials that exactly matched). In addition, several items of assistive equipment were installed. Any changes we desired were accommodated. Everything was done very professionally, per the contract (with changes per our wishes). All of the work was of top-notch quality that was never compromised. Mike B.

Then Monday the day of the scheduled job the crew showed up but the person in charge of the roofers didn't. No problem. The next day they show up and get to work. Good thing I work from home if not my roof we be wrong as we were removing an old jack. from a fireplace and a few others. The foreman then had to drive back to my house as the roofing crew did not understand. After talking to the Foreman they still covered a roof vent for my Bathroom fan. After calling them again the Foreman and the owners son showed up. After a lot of confusion I was told by the owners son that a bathroom fan vent on the roof is HVAC and they will only do what is in the contract. After a heated conversation I told them to do the job right or I'll pay for the material and get someone else to do it right. He owners son then said he is placing a lien on my house and and it is now going to be his. After the foreman separated us to cool down, I tried to call the owner John and he did not answer. I pulled up the contract to show it says about the roof jack and the son said he is pulling his crew and will take my house. The foreman then said to deal with him and I told the foreman that the owners son needs to leave my property. The owners son then tried to fight me and said to make him. leave the property. After all this they finished the roof only to find out that the did not install any flashing, so now I have exposed wood on the sides of my house and they did not paper over the whole roof, which will cause a leak and now my whole house smells of asphalt. The owner will not answer my calls or texts. The foreman is the only one Trying. I stopped payment till this issue is fixed and will probably end up in court as it seems this company is less than a year old and will not be around long. Save yourself the hassle.

However after building got going things started to get a little off track. We had to have our skylights reinstalled and then after completion we're still needing work done on them. At one point when speaking with him he said that he was tired of our crap after asking him about doing the seed and straw. The final detail work he did was very lacking in attention to detail, I have various pictures to show in contrast to his pictures. He also refused to change the stair railing back so that it matches - for codes he put in a piece that doesn't even match. When I asked him about it he said he had a piece that matched and would install it for us, then when he showed up he handed me the piece and said you'll have to install it bc it's a liability for me. Mind you he installed a hanging light above our bathtub after the codes inspection so if the railing fix is about liability then why did he install the light above the tub? He lacks severely in customer service and sticking to his word. He lied to me multiple times. He told me he'd pressure wash our tractor and refill the gas tank for us after we let him use it. He never did either. These are just some of the concerns we experienced with him.

Their team did a great job, leaving no detail unnoticed. They installed 5/8" drywall with soundproofing compound, which can be difficult. They did it with great skill and no complaints. They were very good with communication and all of the work was done pretty much on time and under budget. If there were any issues they or I found through the process, they did what he could to make it right. Their prices are fair and competitive. I am very happy with the service and product I received. I will be using them again for other renovation projects around my property.
