We were able to speak with the owner twice; both times she gave excuses for the deposit refund delay. They ignored subsequent phone calls after that. We are out our deposit as "they have no assets".

If I could give zero stars, I would. It started when we picked up the RV from Bedford, TX. The…read moredealer was rude, refused to show me the RV (only took my husband for a tour/instructions - even though I'm also a driver). The "provisioning kit" I purchased had 7 butter knives, 1 fork, 3 spoons, and a random selection of other kitchen things - but how are we supposed to eat (family of 6 here) with 1 fork? Then the RV started falling apart. We are currently stuck in the middle of nowhere in North Carolina waiting on our FIFTH repair stop of the trip. This is the second stop for water flowing from around the faucets and flooding the RV. We haven't even stopped for the door panels, steps, etc. THE SPARE TIRE HAD 2 NAILS IN IT...ask us how we know. The battery was not hooked up correctly and was shorting out under the bench seats. The generator stopped working. The fridge needs to be completely reset multiple times a day to keep cold. You cannot use the shower because of the flooding issues. The table screws were stripped and useless meaning that we cannot use the dining area. It is stuck in a bed position. The generator quite working. The tire sensor doesn't read correctly so it is always saying we have a flat tire when we do not. We've had to replace two tires. BUT the worst part is the customer service. We are currently waiting on a repair that would cost $897.00. We have been stuck at a repair shop with our 4 kids for almost 4 hours waiting for Cruise America to approve the estimate from the shop. Every time we call we are told that they are trying to reach a supervisor and that no supervisors are answering their messages. There is no way to speak directly to a supervisor. NO other phone numbers to call. There is no way to get help except to WAIT on the side of the road for who knows how long. What's worse is that the only way to get a refund or to make this right is to negotiate with the dealer you picked up the RV from. Except the man we picked our RV up from has the worst customer service, hates being a Cruise America dealer, I think generally hates people. What are we supposed to do??????

First time around it took email after email, call after call to get the money. We rented with them a second time, and they refused to respond to any of our calls or emails or texts to get reimbursed for the security deposit. Left the RV in perfect condition both times we rented, it makes no sense why they would do this, because we will never rent from them again, and we'll spread far and wide what happened. Instead of cultivating a multi-year relationship with good customers, these people chose to do this. It's the last they'll see money from us.

The next morning Ben spent a couple hours on hold trying to get some help from the company because we were having trouble getting the stove top to work. He never was able to talk to anyone at the main company and no one at the local company knew what was wrong. Another camper helped us figure out the problem. So the first two days we spent getting the camper set up. On the third day my husband woke up sick and tested positive for COVID. So, we returned the RV and headed home. Cruise America did not give us a refund for the five days we didn't use the vehicle. Bottom Line: Don't rent from Cruise America!

First time RV RENTAL in Greensboro. Office could be more organized but once you get to speak with…read moresomeone they are helpful. Rented for 2 weeks. Had minor fender bender. Definitely get the Zero Deductible Insurance. Turned it in with no problem. Two additional issues arose during our two week trip. The key to the storage broke off on day one. We contacted the National office and they really weren't able to help us with the issue. I followed their recommendations but Walmart & Home Depot had no clue about a replacement key. We went the whole trip without storage key. Really didn't matter in the long run because the camping sites are a low crime area. The second issue was the AC in the cab would go in and out. Fortunately it was on more than it was off. I contacted the national office. They were supposed to give me an appointment for someone to address the issue. They contacted me I reached out to them I never heard anything else from them. So we completed our trip without the AC issue being addressed. It didn't take away from our ability to enjoy the RV experience.
