We reserved a…read morecampsite at the track and arranged to have the trailer delivered and hooked, we just show up and enjoy a great weekend! I've done this in other cities (Pomona, Las Vegas, Denver) and have always had great experiences but Thomas RV left me feeling less than satisfied. The trailer was old and less than pristine, broken trim, less than professional patch job in the shower, just generally pretty run down (you will NOT find a photo of the trailer I rented anywhere on their website). But the kicker was when the carbon monoxide monitor went off the first time the water heater was turned on. I'll come back to the drag races in Charlotte but I won't be renting from Thomas ever again.

We even had an issue trying to get the TV to work when we got to our destination and we called and they fixed it over the phone with us. Incredible customer service and the next time we have to rent from Joe we definitely will only rent from them. Even the drop off was veryyyyyy easy and quick. Sprinter RV is a great choice to meet our needs as a cruising vehicle 2. Garrett did a very thorough walk thru and training session before our departure 3. Larry and Joe where professional and reasonable during the rental negotiations 4. When we had some minor operational issues during our trip, they all offered solutions in a timely manner 5. We were able to speak with the owner twice; both times she gave excuses for the deposit refund delay. They ignored subsequent phone calls after that. We are out our deposit as "they have no assets".

I am extremely disappointed with FirstKey Homes in Waxhaw, NC. We have been without air…read moreconditioning since Friday, during dangerously hot weather, and there has still been no meaningful resolution. This is not just uncomfortable. It is unsafe! I am pregnant, and I also have a child with special needs in the home. We are sitting in a hot house while FirstKey keeps telling us the issue is "being expedited to the local team," but nothing actually gets done. Our property manager does not respond to emails or phone calls, and there has been no clear timeline, no urgency, and no accountability. It is unacceptable to pay rent and still have to beg for basic habitability, especially when vulnerable people are affected. FirstKey Homes needs to address this immediately. No tenant, especially a pregnant person and a child with special needs, should be ignored while living without A/C in extreme heat.

The next morning Ben spent a couple hours on hold trying to get some help from the company because we were having trouble getting the stove top to work. He never was able to talk to anyone at the main company and no one at the local company knew what was wrong. Another camper helped us figure out the problem. So the first two days we spent getting the camper set up. On the third day my husband woke up sick and tested positive for COVID. So, we returned the RV and headed home. Cruise America did not give us a refund for the five days we didn't use the vehicle. Bottom Line: Don't rent from Cruise America!

First time RV RENTAL in Greensboro. Office could be more organized but once you get to speak with…read moresomeone they are helpful. Rented for 2 weeks. Had minor fender bender. Definitely get the Zero Deductible Insurance. Turned it in with no problem. Two additional issues arose during our two week trip. The key to the storage broke off on day one. We contacted the National office and they really weren't able to help us with the issue. I followed their recommendations but Walmart & Home Depot had no clue about a replacement key. We went the whole trip without storage key. Really didn't matter in the long run because the camping sites are a low crime area. The second issue was the AC in the cab would go in and out. Fortunately it was on more than it was off. I contacted the national office. They were supposed to give me an appointment for someone to address the issue. They contacted me I reached out to them I never heard anything else from them. So we completed our trip without the AC issue being addressed. It didn't take away from our ability to enjoy the RV experience.
