I previously was diagnosed with ADHD in my late teens and have had ongoing attention and focusing issues. With my workload increasing I knew I needed to find a doctor help me regain my balance. I really liked Dr. Bercot's style and approach, helping me understand the dopamine level changes that occur in individuals with ADD and how the proper self-care and medication can help bring this back to natural levels. They require that you pay a hefty deposit and then find ways to continue to charge you. The office will charge you no matter what your reason for missing an appointment. They truly do not care about you as a person. You are only a charge card, and they are all too happy to use you regardless of the situation. I had to cancel an appointment because I was on the way to the hospital after having a seizure. The office staff made sure I knew that they were still going to charge me the late cancellation fee plus the cost of the entire visit. I verified by stating my situation again, and the woman would only tell me that they were going to charge me but I could appeal this charge. I called again today to work something out with them and have this charge vacated. I explained my medical emergency again, and again I got serious attitude. I was told that she could send me the appeal form, but they might not accept it or refund the charge at all. What? I was seeing a really great Physicians Assistant who was extremely knowledgeable. Unfortunately the office is so difficult I cannot continue to frequent this business.

No one responds for hours when you say you need a painkiller. Ok if you have no where else to go, but I'd recommend trying to find another place if possible ESPECIALLY if you have trauma of any sort. One lady was nice and I felt safe with her, I don't remember her name though. I still can't shake the ptsd/cptsd/double abuse they gave me. They Also they refuse to correct blatantly incorrect/false records and diagnosis.
