The arcade machines are in excellent condition and are fair unlike some you can encounter. It is colourful and loud, just as children like it. The road has parking space as well which makes thing seven better. For those wanting to visit Golden Sands, it has its very own car park. For little kids, they can race in karts outside. Golden Sands also has a cash machine and an over 18's slot section. Collect tickets and win prizes hanging on the ceiling. I went for a Super Mario toy. Worth a visit if you are in New Hunstanton.

I'm no arcade geek, but when you are in Vegas you can tell that stuff is from the early to mid 90s with the odd 21st century piece. The lighting and sound has failed on most machines and they don't always operate correctly due to age and misuse. A once delicious Fish and Chip shop, after purchasing from them last week, it was very poor. Chips looked like they needed doing a bit longer and the fish was slimy. Lets not even start with the refreshment cafe part. Have a revamp and rent/buy some new equipment. It would be a fantastic piece to New Hunstanton then.

The other half of the hall is devoted to more children-friendly amusements - games of skill - like throwing balls into baskets, through holes etc. My kids love the place and constantly pester me to take them for a visit. The chidren's machines 'pay out' in strips of tokens - the better you play the games the more tokens you get - these tokens can then be exchanged for prizes at the central money-exchange booth - though beware you do need quite a few tokens before you can 'win' anything half-decent. But it's not an expensive place - a few pounds go a long way and it's a godsend when the weather is bad. Recommended.

Anything better and the locals would just ruin it!

It is a part of the Fantasy Island complex and the market existed before the Theme Park. Same food outlets. It is extremely large. It gets very crowded but it can be interesting. There are bargains to be had if you are not looking for designer labels and yet you can often get overmakes of them. If you like shopping and markets you could easily spent 2/3 hours here and come out with branded cosmetics and tioletries..fake label sunglasses, household stuff, clothes etc.

The only problem is the HUGE crowds, to avoid this its best to go earlyish in the morning. Plenty to eat and drink when you walk round, as well as plenty of toilets. There is an entrance fee to the park but you can leave the park and re enter at any time of the day as long as you get your hand stamped as you are leaving. There's Stone Age stone race ( like 4 wheelers but fitted out for safety) a few different out door play areas, dinosaur trail that features Fiberglas life-sized dinosaurs, when hot outside there's a splash pad, and then out door Safari. He best part by far was in indoor play Center! I even had a blast running around it with my kids. The slides, ball pit play area for under 5 , all of it was so much fun! I want to get a Seasons pass just for the play area! You are able to purchase food in the play area and they have a nice selection for a picky eaters. If you happen to find yourself in the area I highly recommend stoping by, even if it's bad weather!

The facilities were clean and up to date, first aid provided swiftly (our fault, not the venue's!) and activities extensive! Staff were extremely helpful and seemed genuine.. We came on a school day so it wasn't busy.. We brought a picnic so can't comment on the food.. Great day out - I would recommend...
