Art, play, music, special guests and performers - every day is a new learning adventure that our son excitedly talks about when we pick him up from school. Other pluses = There is a full kitchen and the kids and teachers often prepare food together, the playground is fully contained but in a relaxed, wooded environment, the school is right off of the bike trail, close to the Canton library and downtown Collinsville, and Mrs. Doran (one of the teachers) is a gifted puppeteer. She won our hearts immediately, along with the other wonderful faculty, who are highly educated and LOVE working with this age group (3s and 4s). TMA is a very special and unique school. The infrastructure (planetarium, radio station, space observation stations, science labs,...) is not common in K-9 schools. The hands on experience programs are a treat for our daughter. We are amazed by how the programs and faculty members challenge her and support her learning needs. She loves the school, get excited every morning, and literally has cried on the school last day - as she explained that summer will be boring without her friends and teachers.
