**BUYER BEWARE**DO NOT BUY FROM THOMASVILLE TOYOTA** DO NOT BUY FROM THOMASVILLE TOYOTA! Put a call into this dealership on May 26th 2022 to reserve an inbound 2022 Toyota Tundra TRD PRO. Was dealing with the sales rep Oscar. He communicated that the truck was available and I was first in line for any Tundra TRD PRO at that time, and that it would be ready in 80-90 days from then. I placed a $1,000 deposit on the vehicle that I had the spec sheet for. I worked all the sales numbers, tax, etc. and locked it all in. Sales manager Jimmy informed me that Oscar would be reaching out weekly and to expect a dealership delivery update mid to late July. I was not receiving my weekly updates from Oscar so I decided to give him a several calls, texts and emails to no avail. I then called the dealership the next day on July 21st to see what was going on. I got through to the manager Jimmy who acted like he had no idea who I was and why I would be calling. He then took a few minutes to look up "my deal". He finally located it and immediately went on the defense. "The truck we showed you wasn't actually the truck. You would be lucky to get one within the next year, etc." After all the typical BS he told me of a dealer in NC that "my vehicle" went to. I ended up calling the dealership and explained my scenario with them. They took about thirty minutes and called me back and let me know that Thomasville Toyota had a TRD PRO that was Solar Octane and they sold 2 weeks prior to my call. TRD PROs are hard to come by, so when a dealer says the one allocation they get its unlikely they will get another one for awhile, hence the Jimmy (manager) conversation about being lucky to get one in the next year. As anyone would, I took this issue to the next level. I reached out to the General Manager/Partner Chris Matchett. We had a conversation detailing this entire deal and he admittedly denied his dealership did anything wrong. He first stated that they haven't even had a TRD PRO Tundra allocated yet, and then 5 minutes into the convo admitted that a life long Thomasville Toyota had a deal on this truck and sold it to him from under me. He didn't believe anything I had to say until I sent over all the evidence proving such a deal and conversations. (I will attach all the documents below.) Ever since providing these documents we have not spoken again and has gone into hiding. This dealership has taken a gamble on selling my truck from underneath me and now I am working with Toyota directly to report all of this. - DO NOT BUY FROM THOMASVILLE TOYOTA!!! read more

Awesome experience here at Thomasville Toyota from start to finish. I'm still shocked I was able to leave with a 2020 new car. They were able to put me at a payment comfortable for me with a reasonable down payment. Make sure you ask for Trendon ‼ JK the used car sales manager and Ren helped appraise my car. The final touches came from my salesmen Mr. Trendon Jones. I explained to him what type of car I needed and my preferences...since I am a very picky person. This review is for the Thomasville Toyota Title Clerk, Dianne. If I can say that she operates with 1000 percent integrity, compassion, and transparency, I'll say it a million times. I met her because Kia Finance sent them my title in error-- or better word is incompetency. She didn't know me from the next person and I'm in Texas-- hence the title was a Texas title. She received my title and kindly mailed it to me in Texas. My lesson learned is to just buy Toyota, which I typically do but during COVID, finding a car was next to impossible. I will soon be in the market for a new car and due to my experience here, I'll certainly have this dealership on my short list of places to buy from and will likely make a vacation of it. Went in for routine maintenance on 2022/05/07 as my car is under warranty, and when I got the packet back they did not go over what they had done. Being a mechanic myself, I looked over the maintenance conducted and saw that they had tested my battery which was marked "bad." I pointed this out and the service runner said "oh our battery tester is semi-broken so sometimes it'll read bad, but usually that means your battery is good." So, I go and test the battery myself as well as have Oreillys test it and it's definitely bad. I am glad he was honest enough to tell me the tester was bad, but they shouldn't be using bad testers to begin with. I shouldn't have to dig around the packet (after already paying for the service) and confront him on the findings in order to figure out what's going on with my car. That should have been his first priority once they found the issue. If this is how they conduct business, then they're shady and underhanded. This is ridiculous. Their maintenance department is unprofessional and unreliable. Would give no stars if I could. Will not be coming back. read more

Took my car to this service center for some issues my car was having. After waiting for a call about it all day for an issue we thought was only going to take a few hours to fix we tried calling and no one would pick up the phone so we drove up there where they told us my transmission was shot... this was a complete surprise to us as the car was still driving mostly fine and we didn't think for a second it would be an issue this big. After my car being there for 2 days they finally tell me they want me to pay an outrageous $7400 to have it fixed.. of course we declined and took the car back home. He also let us know they never even looked at the transmission so I have no idea how they even came up with the diagnosis. Leaving the service center we realized the car was driving WAY worse than it was when we first dropped it off and was no longer drivable and on top of that a half tank of gas had disappeared... I'd absolutely never take my car back here again. Very questionable things going on at this service center. read more

3/6/21 We bought our 2021 Toyota Camry SE today and from start to finish it was a good experience. Kennarri Huggins was our salesperson, he listened to what we had to say, asked lots of questions and if he did not know the answer he went and got the answer from someone who did know the answer. The rental car department manager and her assistant were the rudest people you have ever met! Smart mouth from the get go and when asked to speak to the manager they asked for what? When a customer asks to speak to the manager they are suppose to get the manager. Will not ever go there again. The vehicle was cleaner when we returned it than it was when we got it. He is thorough, precise, and honest. Whenever there is an issue, he jumps right on it, and I always leave a happy customer. Duane in the Parts Department took care of my Sequoia when I had it, and he was the main reason I continued with Toyota when my Sequoia was wrecked and I had to get another vehicle. Well if you want the run around, lied to and waste your time go to Thomasville Toyota. Bad experience! Found the perfect certified truck. Salesman said make an offer. I did. He said he would get back to me. He did. Told me that the GM said that he would no cut 50 cents. I said no. I called the next day and offered 1000 of list. This was a 40k truck. He said he would ask the GM. He said no. Only full price. I slept on it and call him the next day. I'll pay full price. Get the truck ready. On my way to Thomasville Toyota the senior sales guy calls and tells me 'BTW it's not a Certified Vehicle but if I pay an additional 509 it can be". But sir it was advertised as one and YOU told me it was. WTH keep the truck. I had been a loyal Toyota customer and never said anything bad but I will be driving a GMC later today. read more

The dealership is nice, the experience I had was not the best. I didn't feel like I was taken seriously and the offer on our trade in was a low ball offer. The saleman made it seem like he was doing us so many favors in working on the price, but only moved three hundred dollars in negotiating. Called about a truck they have advertised on car gurus, and asked about an out the door price. I start heading to the dealership to look at and buy the truck and get a call about how the truck is being driven over the weekend by an employees son that doesn't plan on buying it but if I want to look at it Monday it will be there. I'd almost rather have them lie to me and say they sold it instead of letting me know someone's son has it for the weekend and has no intention of buying it. Went thomasville Toyota today to start process to buy a new RAV4 They didn't have the model we wanted so they were going to order one Salesman says what if we can get you in another model the hybrid,told him it wasn't in our budget. He says lets do the numbers we negotiate, I tell him if you can get it to this number I will buy it today. He comes back got it,he's goes to get the vehicle washed and fueled. Says the finance people will be with me shortly. After about 20 min finance guy comes out says salesman gave him vin number from wrong vehicle this one is more expensive. Says he come back with numbers for another vehicle. So comes back with number for model we originally wanted that's higher than the number we negotiated for the hybrid. Left pissed off at the waste of my time. Wouldn't recommend this place to friend or foe. read more

I had an older car with 190K on it, and knew it was time to trade her in. My wife had just gotten a 2019 Rav4 which we love, but didn't love Tallahassee's Legacy Toyota because the experience was HORRIBLE. We heard good thing about TVille's Toyota dealership so we gave it a shot. I was first called by JK after filling out information on their site. He was very friendly, and confident they could get me into something that I not only liked, but could afford. We arrive last weekend and was greeted to our salesman Trendon by JK. Trendon has to be the nicest, most upfront, and honest sales person I have ever met. He spent time with us, and went on a few test drives until I was able to find the perfect fit for my needs, a 2020 Tacoma. Then he went beyond that working with the great management team with numbers on my trade in and such. Once we figured out most of the math John Smith in finance did his magic with the numbers, which he is very good at! At the end of the day I was driving off in a brand new truck which I LOVE at an affordable price. I will drive from Tallahassee any day to see these guys, and never have to step foot at the dealership here in Tally. Overall it was a jaw dropping experience where you could tell everyone there worked together like a family and helped each other out. Buyers beware. Worst buying experience ever. The manager, Dave, was rude, misleading and did not care about a family who purchases 2 to 3 new cars every few years. I guarantee he's pushing business out the door all day long. We drove over 30 miles based on a purchase price semi-negotiated over the phone. Following our test drive we were approached by another rep asking if we were buying the vehicle because if not, his buyer was going to buy it. How rude is that? Knowing that they had another potential buyer, my already negotiated rate went out the window which was simply at this point requesting a small repair (rust spot) to be fixed. I was paying the sticker price on a used vehicle with the expectation that any reasonable dealership would not sell a used vehicle with rust. The repair estimate, knowing this business a little, will cost them about $150. So for $150 they insulted me and let me and my family walk out the door, knowing I am buying 3 vehicles in the next 6 months. Plus I lost 3 hours and gas money. Unbelievable! Where are the days where local businesses build relationships on trust and customer service. Not here, and not with this obnoxious manager. My sales rep was more than reasonable to give him some credit. read more

I had a deal with Thomasville Toyota for a set price, and put down a $500 good faith deposit check which they held until the SUV came in. They special ordered a Highlander XLE with certain packages for me. Highlanders are high demand low volume vehicles. The dealership had only one Highlander on the lot at a time and they sold quickly. They are not like Corollas which they have a pretty good selection of. The day my SUV came in the manager said I would have to pay $2,500 more. I refused this bait and switch tactic. The dealership sold the SUV right away, probably to a new owner that was willing to pay more than I had agreed to. They had misled me. How can you recommend a dealership that does that? I will have a signed contract on my next special order so they have to stick to the offer but it won't be through Thomasville Toyota. When I wanted to contact someone higher than their general manager, Lee Graham, he said he was it - he didn't have a boss.
