Unprofessional to sum it up. Set up an appointment with Chris to be seen between 12pm-3pm days in advanced. Sat home and waited. 12pm rolls around and I call his business number and an employee answers. I ask if I'm scheduled to be seen today and she states that there is a three hour window where Chris can arrive. Fair enough, I thank her and hang up. 3pm rolls around. No text, no call, no follow up. The least this business can do is offer a courtesy call to inform me that they cannot make the appointment. Seems like they only have 1 employee who genuinely knows what he's doing but that's where the quality ends. He shows up, charges a fee just to look at the washer - says what the broken part is. says he will get it, and then it's another week to wait. 2nd time he comes around, he finds out there's yet another part that needs replacement - tells me to return my broken washer but follows up with saying he will look into the 2nd broken parts price and let me know via text. it's been Weeks since then, I do not need to hassle you with a reminder to do your job. No follow up text for the replacement part price. No service. Just money and time wasted, if you don't want to fix it just say so instead of getting my hopes up, jerks. Again to reiterate, FIND ANOTHER COMPANY. They will leave you hanging with no follow up, they are a waste of time and money. read more

I waited 9 days for an appt. to fix a repair that was done on my washing machine a few months ago that was broken again, same problem that they charged $215 and fixed ( not). i waited in from 9-12. called at 10:30 am and they said they had already knocked at my door and I didn't answer. They had called my son by mistake and got no answer. I had been texting with them since I made the appt. 9 days ago and they never thought to call me at that number . They did not come to my appt. door and leave a note which is what they proclaimed to have done. They never even got in the building, just found a note on my outside mailbox. I highly recommend Thompson Appliance Service. Both Joy and Chris went above and beyond in getting my fridge fixed. They even went as far as calling LG I don't know how many times in order to get the broken parts replaced under warranty from LG. Joy was very nice and always communicated with me and was very positive even though LG was terrible to work with, and clearly tried hard to get out of replacing the parts. Kevin came out and fixed the new parts in the fridge and took extra time in making sure everything worked - I even called him back because I was worried that he forgot to call me about payment. Repaired my dishwasher after a mouse had chewed up things, then came back and repaired it again after the mouse did his thing again and only charged me for parts no labor. Back in April, I used Yelp's messaging system to find someone to come out and look at our Maytag dryer that had suddenly stopped drying mid-cycle. Within a couple of hours I got a callback with not only the information that helped the dryer to be functional again but what to do in case that little hang up happens again. Our dryer started screeching the Thursday before Memorial Day weekend.
