Scheduling and check in were excellent. The team that booked my appointment was friendly and helpful, and the intake process was very impressive. They even scan your vehicle as you pull in and can read things like tire tread life. My advisor was personable and they arranged a shuttle home, so the experience started off strong. Unfortunately the communication quickly fell apart. I brought my new truck in Friday at 8:15am for several warranty concerns. Around 1pm I texted my advisor for a status update since he said he should have one around lunch. I also explained that if the truck needed to stay overnight I would need to arrange alternate transportation. He replied that the tech had the truck and he would confirm the status. Never once saying he was not going to be working the weekend. After that, I received no response despite multiple follow ups that afternoon. When I called Saturday morning I was told that because my advisor was not working that day, no one could provide an update because advisors do not share notes or account access. I was also told the truck was not being worked on since that team was off. Because of this I had to rush to get a rental car out of pocket. When I later asked about reimbursement, I was told it would not be covered because I did not rent a GMC vehicle. When I picked up the truck the problems continued. Tools were left in my vehicle, part of my console was still in the floorboard, and my charging ports were no longer working. I had to return again to have those fixed. I was also told a noise I reported was "just road noise." But I had noticed my truck was not even driven a mile to observe the issue. After continuing to hear it, I took the truck to another GMC service center. They quickly diagnosed the real issue. The rear differential bearings are failing and need to be replaced. Their technician told me that any mechanic who had actually driven the truck would have noticed the sound immediately. The scheduling and intake experience were great, but the lack of communication and the service follow through were extremely disappointing. I will gladly drive an additional 20 mins to my second dealership I went it. read more

To find out, we have to pay out of the pocket for this one. $118 - When we questioned why, we were told the 4 changes were to be done within 2 years, or 25,000 miles. We have 22,000 miles on our vehicle. And March 14th made 2 years. We were not told this when we purchased our vehicle. If we were, I can guarantee we would not have driven all the way to Raleigh to pay $118 for an oil change. read more

I brought my recently purchased used Buick in for a necessary recall parts replacement. The dealership offered to run diagnostics on the vehicle for free, so I said okay. I had just purchased it from a used car dealership a few weeks prior and that dealership had run diagnostics a month before that, but I thought I would have them do it just to be safe - since it was "free." But when I got the results back, Thompson wanted several thousand dollars to unnecessarily replace many items on the vehicle. (The car is only worth $9k and they wanted $4k in replacements and service fees). All of the parts they wanted to replace and services they "recommended" were not due for months; none of it was urgent, which they confirmed. When I told them I didn't want those additional services, they reported all of those items as "issues" to CarFax and effectively reduced the market resale price of my vehicle by $2k. I would not recommend bringing your vehicle to this location if you have any other option. read more

Late Review - Thompson Automotive This review is difficult to write--mainly because the sales representative who assisted us did an exceptional job, especially considering it was their first month at the dealership. Their professionalism and effort were the highlight of an otherwise deeply disappointing experience. Unfortunately, what followed after the purchase was a series of concerning and frustrating issues. Just two weeks after buying the vehicle, it became completely unresponsive while I was driving eastbound on Highway 40. This created a dangerous situation, caused traffic delays, and left us stranded for hours. The vehicle was towed to the dealership and remained in the service department for over a week, during which time we received no updates and were not offered a courtesy vehicle, leaving me without reliable transportation to get to work. When we finally got the car back, we immediately noticed the alignment had been altered, which was deeply concerning considering the vehicle had spent over 10 days in service and was less than a month old. On top of the mechanical issues, the financial dealings were equally troubling. At no point during the process did anyone in the finance department discuss the trade-in value of my car or the interest rate on our loan. We were simply ushered in to meet the financial manager only when it was time to sign the contract, with no opportunity to ask questions or get clarity on key financial details. It felt like we were thrown into a tank with sharks, and the lack of transparency was truly appalling. To try and make up for the inconvenience of the vehicle issue, I requested a complimentary one-year OnStar subscription, which was ignored. Additionally, I was interrupted so rudely--twice--by a service staff member, and no apology was offered. I replied to what appeared to be a follow-up email from GM Ryan Fuller, likely automated and triggered by high customer ratings. I detailed these concerns in my response--but never received any reply or acknowledgment. This entire experience has been marked by: Unreliable service Questionable financial practices Poor communication Lack of transparency and professionalism I ended my original message with a sincere question: How do you plan to make this right? poor service purchased 2019 Yukon in October which was a nightmare. I constantly complained because I was having issues with water pump, they finally replaced water pump after multiple calls. I then noticed my fan kept running which was due to sensor not being replaced I was told "oh this is normal" meanwhile the vehicle sounded like it was about to shoot off into space. I was almost forced to purchase service plan where I can only receive service from the dealer because it's like pulling teeth going elsewhere, and getting reimbursed. I recently went to another dealer and guess what over $1000 dollars worth of issues. They suck take your money elsewhere read more

*** ALERT***UPDATE*** The worst auto dealership to do business in the triangle. We agreed that they would buy back the vehicle on 10/15. It took until 10/27 to get the actual paperwork over from them so we can sign over ownership. We signed the papers and all they needed to do at that point was call the bank for a payoff quote and request an expediated title. Again, we gave them an appropriate amount of time to refund our down payment. We called them again several times to ask where our money was. The response from the sales manager was that "we are waiting on the title". We called the bank, who provided us with all the information and proof we now need to take the company to court, should it come to that. The bank informed us that there was no call from Thompson Auto to the bank to get a payoff until a full 19 days after agreeing to buy back the vehicle and 7 days after having signed the paperwork. After learning of this fact and during a conversation between my husband and the sales manager we were told that the general manager, Ryan Fuller, would be taking over the entire matter. This is the very same person who stated at the beginning of this mess that he would get things straightened out and would call me back immediately, which to this day has never happened. Once again, 3 days have gone by since our last conversation with the sales manager and we have still heard nothing from Ryan Fuller. This is just another game being played by Thompson Auto Group to withhold money that is rightfully ours. Here's the point when you realize they don't conduct themselves in an honest way and have exercised deliberate and suspect business practices. After speaking to the bank, (all documented and with written receipts) we found out that they sent out for the title on 10/24, even though we possess the email on 10/15 confirming the buyback and the terms of that buyback. This delay in sending the paperwork was done intentionally, so they could hold onto our funds longer than they needed to. (As there was no other reason they would have waited this long to send.) Technically, the dealership has 60 days to send in the title, but on 10/15 they acknowledged via email and phone that they were buying the car back but chose to wait another 9 days to unnecessarily send out the title. This was confirmed by the bank by the bank who told us if they were already in process of purchasing the car back that they didn't need to send the title, which they would have known, as they would again be the title holders. They only needed to contact the bank and pay off the loan. Again, this further demonstrates the underhanded way in which things were done to keep from refunding our down payment. To further clarify, if they had called to get the payoff when we confirmed this was taking place on 10/15, they could have informed the bank, the bank would have provided a payoff amount, told them to keep the title and this would have been finished. Thompson is a business dealing with the public and should be upright and honest when doing so. Holding onto a customer's funds under fraudulent conditions so they don't have to refund their full deposit is abhorrent. I can't urge people enough to go elsewhere with your business. We all work very hard for our money, please don't spend it in a place where they treat the customers this way. It's not worth the trouble and we gave them every opportunity to do the right thing. read more

Below is my original review. I have downgraded it because after an initial email promising to look into my request, they've gone silent including two inquiries submitted through their website. Yet, I get weekly 'noreply' emails telling me to trade in my vehicle for a new one. On top of that, they wanted $927 to change spark plugs. We have a second home in Ohio, so I called the GMC dealership there--$200 cheaper. Original review: Took my GMC Acadia for the first time after moving to the area. The service person was very nice and kept me updated. HOWEVER, be aware that they charge 2% credit card fee. That's OK for a small mom and pop restaurant, but a high margin dealer?? Also, if you are a Costco member, through Costco's site you can get a 15% discount at this dealer. Which of course no one mentioned to me . . . I also got a list of recommended services totaling close to $2,000 and turns out after checking GMC website and the GMC app which had all my previous dealer maintenance, many were not due for quite some time I felt nickel-and-dimed on the credit card charge ($20) and also don't fully trust their recommendations now. read more

Extremely disappointing experience. I arrived for a scheduled appointment, which I had two email confirmations for, only to be told it wasn't on file. The service tech was rude from the start, and they ended up keeping my vehicle for three days just for a basic diagnostic. When I finally got a call back, I was given an outrageous repair suggestion for something I knew wasn't the issue. When I questioned it, I was told to just come pick up my car if I didn't want it "fixed." I ended up taking it to the GMC dealership in Durham, where they performed a simple update that completely resolved the issue, and didn't charge me a dime. That visit saved me over $1,200. This experience left me questioning the honesty and professionalism of the service department. I won't be returning. Took my vehicle in for service on 10/23. I had a complete loss of power to the drivers door. They diagnosed the issue, broken wire, they could fix it, and did a check on other things, said I needed brakes. So I said ok. Picked it up then next day, door had power but other things now didn't work. They had broken something else when fixing this. So I took it home, brought it back the next day. I had done some investigation that evening. There were offers on their website for a rebate on brake pads, and another for a discount on the brake job. Neither was given to me. Turns out it only for delco brake pads, which they claim are no longer made. A different dealer in town has them on their parts website. The said they could fix what they broke and it was only going to cost me another $300. Three hours later, they said they could fix it. I could just pick it up. They would need to get a wiring harness, which also was not available. They changed me $920 for the first time wiring issue and the brake job. I let them know I was extremely unhappy. I got a call from Aaron S telling me that they would refund the cost of the wiring. That was over two weeks ago, and I still haven't gotten it from them. I would not recommend taking a vehicle there for service. read more

These folks don't care about their customers. Purchased a truck from Thompson and they could only find one key when I went to pick it up. They asked me to give them a few days to locate the 2nd one. After 3 weeks and multiple follow ups I was told the only option would be to program a new one. When I went in to have a key programmed they told me I had to pay for it! At no point during the process was this communicated to me. After speaking with the sales team all I got was a "sorry for the miscommunication." Thompson Automotive Group A.K.A. Thompson Buick GMC is one of the worst places to sell your vehicle. Bottom line: Thompson Automotive Group allows their representatives /employees to commit fraudulent activities daily! I made an appointment for Tuesday July 2, at 11:00 am to sell a vehicle. I was promised, by a representative /employee of Thompson Automotive Group, (Renée) that my vehicle would be evaluated, and I would be provided with an appraisal. If I accepted the appraisal, I would receive cash for my vehicle that day. The entire operation, as I was told by Renée, would take about 30 to 45 minutes. This was not what happened. I completely understand that car dealerships are busy, however, we arrived about 10 minutes before our appointment time. Renée was not present, the receptionist stopped a salesperson, and asked him to help. He looked at the car, and we started the paperwork. My wife and I waited for someone to drive it and do an overall inspection. After that was done, we waited for the salesperson to return and finish his part of the paperwork. The salesperson then asked us to have a seat in the service lobby and said someone would be with us soon. After waiting for almost an hour, I went to the service receptionist, who was not knowledgeable and less than helpful. The salesperson we had started with came back around, and finally got us to the buyer. Once we were with the buyer, we signed all the documents, and paperwork, turning the vehicle over to Thompson Automotive Group, expecting to be paid for the vehicle as promised by Renée. (She represented Thompson Automotive Group, in this matter). That did not happen, the buyer said that Thompson Automotive Group would give us a check the next day or on Friday, as the 4th of July is a holiday. This entire process was two and half hours! As it turns out we did not receive payment for the vehicle until Friday, the buyer even said that he had worked for the company for eight years and had never seen anyone receive payment for their vehicle on the same day. (How does Renée NOT know this?) This practice is commonly known as "Fraud". The dictionary says that fraud is: 1) a. intentional perversion of truth in order to induce another to part with something of value or to surrender a legal right. Part b. an act of deceiving or misrepresenting. The Thompson Automotive Group representative /employee, Renée intentionally perverted the truth and misrepresented Thompson Automotive Group, she said we would be paid cash same day for the vehicle, we signed the vehicle over to Thompson Automotive Group in good faith that we would receive payment that day, and we did not, so we parted with something of value, we were lied to by Thompson Automotive Group's representative /employee. No one at Thompson Automotive Group told us that payment would not be received that day. Nor is this information available on Thompson Automotive Group's website or stated/given anywhere in their facility. I will refer to the bottom-line up front of my review. I will also add that if Thompson Automotive Group allows representatives /employees to commit fraudulent activities daily, how unscrupulous must they be with the rest of their business practices. My advice is to stay as far away as possible. You sign your vehicle over to them after being promised payment, and you leave with nothing but a promise from a company that has already lied to you. read more

I received an email stating a price drop, this one fell in my budget so I was surprised that the salesperson didn't reach out again. I responded to the email. 30 minutes later, that same salesperson called me back sounding very positive, but then when we discussed my trade, it went downhill again. In the initial round of negotiating the trade-in, the salesman tells me the guy that test drove it noticed a hiccup in the transmission. Then, the $1084 for window tint, nitrogen in the tires ("nitro" so you don't Google it and realize Costco does it for free.), rubber floor mats, and $3 worth of vinyl on the edge of the door as a door protector. We agree that my truck should bring in more money, they stand to make almost 50%, they could meet me in the middle a little better. I had to get the title, said I'd be back the next day. We manage to agree on a price on the phone. My assumption was they'd give me more for my truck like we discussed the day before. I mentioned multiple times at this point that I want the 2.9% financing. My credit is stellar, shouldn't be a big deal to qualify. They'll commit to a price over the phone and agree that it'll work with the 2.9% financing. That got me back in the door and then "oh yeah, we can't give you that offer with that financing. But if we take this $2,000 rebate off that is lumped in with all the discounts you'll qualify for it..." There's no apologies, no feeling bad. No I'm sorry for wasting your time. Used this collision center for a minor bumper repair as they were preferred by the at faults insurance company. The collision center miscommunicated/misrepresented multiple things: 1) 'needing to wait until parts come in' to take car in, this delayed dropping off the car for repairs for about 1 month. When I did drop the car off, they informed me no parts were ordered yet and the person who relayed that information initially was providing false information and that they never order parts in advance. OK. 2) the collision center told me the car would be ready about 1 week later and asked me to drop off my rental car. When I tried to arrange pick up they said there was a defect and the bumper didn't fit. This required me making multiple trips to the rental facility on my own dime because of again the misinformation. 3) the collision center then ordered 4-5 total bumpers after this which were all 'defective' in some form or fashion, stringing me along over the course of 1 month. This is unacceptable. 4) Some of the staff were professional, including David and Maddy, but the old woman at the front desk is extremely rude and should not interact with customers. At no point during the 4 weeks they had my car did anyone interact with the insurance company to confirm that the insurance company would pay the direct amount to collision center (as I was told by the collision center when I dropped my car off). When I picked up the car, the old woman was scrambling to call the insurance company and when unable to reach them aggressively told me I needed to pay for the car before they would release it. Why are they leaving the communication with the insurance company to the very last minute and then blaming the customer? All in all, there are some factors which are difficult to control when it comes to car repair work- however the poor communication, some rude/hostile staff, and the negligence in communicating with the insurance companies about payments are unacceptable and I would recommend they do some training of the people coordinating these logistics. Drop my truck off 3 weeks ago on a Thursday to have AC looked at and recall work done. Was told the AC would be $300 to diagnose and then they would let me know. Thursday afternoon was told that it was the actuators, which I expected and the the cost to replace would be $650. It is a $35 part but hard to access. Friday night was told they weren't done but someone would be in Saturday morning to finish. Saturday I showed up just before closing to pick it up to be told it still wasn't done. I had them put it back together since I needed the vehicle for the coming week Rescheduled for this Thursday and dropped it off again. I got a call thin the early afternoon saying that it was a different part that was the problem and would be an additional $750. I recently wrote a bad review which I can't find on Thompson Cadillac for a sunroof service in which a Mike Fitzgerald charge me $350 for dianostics and the service was $1,600. I paid the $350 and went to Hendric Cadillac Dealership and completed the service for $187.00. Naturally I was pissed and aired it. But a service manager name RIck Casino I think called me, apologized and said the didn't do business that way. Had me come over and reimbursed me the $350 I spent. We had a nice conversation but the initial guy who charged me all that money did not come up to me to say a word. I reached out to multiple GMC dealerships regarding purchase of a new Sierra Denali. Responses were mixed from misleading to refreshingly transparent. Thompson took the latter approach and quickly rose above the fray offering competitive pricing without a slew of conditions. They also did not insist I come in for their best price and were happy to negotiate by phone and email. I arrived anticipating quick turnaround of paperwork. Unfortunately, the truck presented wasn't in the condition I expected. I am very particular but they never once questioned my concerns. Instead, Julius and Steven were immediately empathetic and undertook great efforts to ensure my satisfaction. While I waited for them to prepare another vehicle, I had the pleasure of interacting with Marcus in the business office who was very personable and straight forward. There was no pressure to buy extra equipment or coverage. Marcus even loaned me a vehicle to grab dinner while my new truck was detailed. I appreciate the level of service I received from Thompson and from Julius in particular. He repeatedly emphasized his commitment to my satisfaction and stayed late to ensure I was comfortable with the features of my new truck. On January 19, 2022 around 3am, my husband's truck was hit in the road. The person who hit him drove away. His 2021 Ram with less than 13,000 miles was destroyed. Scott Stevens came and looked at the truck. Scott told me matter-of-factly that there is no way the truck is totaled. It was rear end damage. Rear end damage can be fixed. I did research. I asked people I knew. I read reviews. I asked Scott Stevens what body shop he would recommend. I wanted the best repair shop. I got our truck towed to Thompson Collision. I was told that it would be 30 days. I rented a rental car for 30 days. Our insurance covered 28 of those days and I paid out of pocket for the rest. As you can see from my attached call log, I left Thompson alone for 30 days. However, things started to get interesting when I started asking what was going on. I was first dealing with Krystal, who asked me if it was okay if they put chrome muffler tips on the truck. She said it was the last thing that we were waiting on to release the truck. I said that I preferred the black tipped. She said they would outsource the labor and the truck would be released within one week. This was February 22, 2022 (over 30 days from the time the truck was towed to Thompson). I rented a car out of pocket for three more weeks. I then called back the following Friday and a woman told me that the truck had severe frame damage. WHAT?! There was absolutely no frame damage and I knew this because I had been told this over and over again by Thompson Collision. At this point, I requested to speak to someone else. This is when Jimmy entered the picture... I called back several times and on March 9, I spoke to Jimmy. He was apologetic and told me that Krystal had been giving me updates on the WRONG Ram truck. I was flabbergasted. I actually even remember asking Jimmy how this happened and compared this situation to a Dr. working and giving updates to a family on a wrong patient. He then admitted that our truck had not been touched. Our truck, that had been sitting there since January 19, 2022, had not been touched. I could not believe that I was being treated this way by a place of business. I am a CPA. I know how businesses are supposed to run and there is something seriously wrong with Thompson Auto. We ran out of money. I couldn't pay for a rental car anymore. I begged Thompson to work on our truck. Jimmy told me that was just no way they could get a new bed and asked for my permission to get a used truck bed. I reluctantly agreed. On March 16, Jimmy told me he finalized a truck bed and our truck would be completely finished on March 25. On March 22, Jimmy texted me and said the truck bed arrived! I was stoked. March 25 came and went and Jimmy never returned my phone calls. I was contacted by a Brandon who told me that our truck hadn't been worked on and that the truck bed they ordered came incorrectly (twice). He also told me that it was his first week and he had "no idea" why the truck hadn't been worked on, but it wasn't his "fault". On March 28, I was told that our truck was going to be totaled. 68 days. 68 days of coordinating vehicles, draining our accounts, trips back and forth to the airport and phones calls to Thompson. 68 days to total a truck. I was told over the phone they were honoring GM Family First discounts if you were a previous customer or lived within a certain mile radius of the store. I went in today to order a truck for the GM now to tell the sales rep they are not honoring the discount and i would have to pay full MSRP. I schedule an appointment with them at 1000 am to see a vehicle we wanted to purchase. When we arrived at the dealership they stated they sold the car the night before. We traveled two hours there; so I asked to speak to a manager. Her response was 'We don't hold cars" but then why did they make me get an appointment? All she said was they don't hold cars. I was that they didn't inform us when they knew we had to drive 2v hours. When I asked why we were not notified immediately when it was sold since we had a scheduled appointment. She said it was the receptions job to make the calls and she doesn't come in until 0930 am. They had no response to the lack of informing us and just said we don't hold cars. I would avoid having any repair work performed by them. They don't care about you, they care about themselves. They're your typical auto shop trying to make a dollar the expense of the customer. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere. Don't ignore the other bad reviews or you may literally pay the price. Purchased a brand new vehicle in January 2024. Experience was pleasant and thought we were being treated fairly and honestly, especially with them playing up we take care of anyone that served in the Armed Forces gets employee pricing Then we got home a looked at the paperwork (yes we should have paid more attention to the numbers at the dealership), that's when we found out the extra vehicle protections we were offered and accepted at $1,500 was only for one of the five added on. Closer examination of paperwork has a total of $7,939 additional vehicle care services. That's a huge difference from what we were told. They use a doc u sign pad and run through them fast so make sure when your in the finance office to look at every page, especially the added on vehicle care services and they explain every number to you. read more

Can't say enough about my experience with this dealership! I ordered a Yukon from Bob King in wilmington in November 21. Aug 2022 I still did not have my car and they gave me one excuse after another. They treated me like I didn't matter. So I gave up and in just one week of dealing with Thompson Buick I got my brand new Yukon AT4! They were amazing to work with and even delivered it right to me in Wilmington! NO, NO, NO, DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!! It has been an absolute nightmare dealing with this dealership. You put money down on a vehicle and then are treated like garbage from there on out. I should have read more reviews before purchasing from them. We traveled over an hour because the vehicle was the better deal and I would have much rather, at this point, paid the over $4k listing price in my area then deal with this ever again. Brian, in sales, is the shadiest and laziest salesman I've ever dealt with - not only did he not put in to have my tags, title and registration transferred (I purchased my vehicle in JANUARY and May 6th found out nothing was transferred ) but after calling multiple times and leaving a message he was a coward and never called me back to deal with his screw up. He also told us, after we expressed we needed a lender who will allow our vehicle to be taken overseas for a PCS, to "honestly just not tell the financing company you're going overseas. They'll never know..". (I have my husband as a witness to this).. Which is illegal to not disclose to your lender and could have left us in thousands of dollars in debt if our lender found out. That is, if we were as incompetent as he and didn't know the legalities of bringing a car over seas. After swiping our card for $6k for a down payment, we were sh*t on his shoe at this point and the demeanor of his willingness to help changed incredibly. He went from buttering us up with talks of his family to not even wanting to fix his multiple errors in the sale. The tall guy with glasses in finance, darker skin completion, sits at the cubical immediately to the left when you walk in from the side entrance/going to finance (can't remember his name) said he was from Maryland or something. Told me the second week of May he was overnighting me a new plate to "fix" Brian's error. My tags expire June 1, which I have expressed profusely about needing my plate way before then due to important appointments for myself and children out of area being the beginning of June. Different Brian, but in finance, was halfway to being the saving grace in all of this when I called him Wednesday at 11:53pm. He told me my plate would be overnighted Thursday or Friday... that was a lie. Kim called me today (May 31st) at 10:03am to let me know my plate was going out tomorrow, June 1st... I'm not surprised at this point. I have ZERO confidence my plate will be out tomorrow and in the event I get a ticket for this - I will hand deliver it to this dealership with an attorney present for THEM to pay and deal with. I think the experience wasn't bad but I am giving it a 3 because they failed to inform us that there is a nation wide chip shortage so when you buy your vehicle here your seat warmers and parking assistance will not will work. I wish that this would have been said to us upfront. We found out after having the car for 3 weeks. We called and that is when they informed us. Why wasn't this expressed to us during the buying process? I would have still bought the car if they would have been upfront about it but no one told us anything, even when you sign for if they owe you anything they could have inserted that in there. For that I felt they knew and withheld that Information. I am leaving this review to help others that if you buy a 2022 model you may have the same issue. They do not know when they will get the chip in. I just wish I would have drove off knowing this from the beginning. read more

This place is absolutely AWFUL. I bought a 2022 Silverado 2500 from them with only 22k miles. First the minor stuff. From the beginning it was bad customer service. I had left a very nice tactical flashlight in the door pocket of my trade in. I asked about it because I had to take the vehicle I bought in for service almost immediately, and the salesman Casey said "yeah, they mentioned that let me go check with the sales manager". He came back and said yes they found it and they left it in the door pocket and sold the truck. Why the heck wouldn't they take that out? Getting into the major stuff. They obviously do not inspect their used vehicles before selling them. There was an open recall on it, one of the cameras didn't work at all, and apparently all 4 brake rotors are warped. I scheduled a repair to fix it and they gave me the runaround and took multiple trips there to fix the problems because they didn't order parts to fix it the first time. I spent over 12 hours waiting (2 trips because they didn't fix it the first time)in their waiting room only to find out that the parts they needed to fix the camera were on backorder. Then to top it off, the backup camera didn't function properly anymore because the system wouldn't calibrate without the camera working after they attempted to fix it (and failed). I was very mad and my salesman came out and said the general manager wanted to speak to me if I could wait right there. 30 minutes later, he still hadn't come so I went inside and asked for him. The lady at the front desk called him and he said he was busy and would have another guy come out. She asked him if that guy was coming now and he said "I don't know" and ended the conversation. I told her I had been waiting all day and gave her my phone number to give him to call me and left very mad. Nobody ever called me. I emailed the GM, my salesman, the sales manager and finally several days later got a call from a manager that seemed very annoyed to even be talking with a customer. He didn't really seem to care and thought they were handling it properly. How on earth he thought that is beyond me unless he wasn't even listening to the conversation. During the 3.5 months of waiting for parts on "backorder" I called several times to get updates because they definitely won't call you and give you an update. Usually leaving a message which no call was returned even by the service manager. The times they did return my call was days later. After 3 months of waiting, I called GM Customer Care. They stepped in to help, and what do you know the parts were magically there within about a week. So I take it back to get it fixed (dropped off at 8:15AM) and they tell me they will let me know when it should be ready. At 4:00 I still hadn't heard back so I called them back to see when it would be ready. The service guy tells me it will probably be 2-3 more days. I asked where they were in the process and he said they hadn't started on it yet. Are you kidding me?? You had it ALL day and you haven't even started yet? And we've been waiting 3.5 months to fix this thing? I had also been promised on one of the trips before that they would look at the brakes (which pulse and shudder when stopping) and take care of that since it should not have been sold like that. I even bought 2 new rotors for them to use in case they were too bad to be resurfaced to prevent another nightmare argument. They called me today to ask what I want done with the brakes that the tech is recommending all 4 rotors and pads be replaced. I said "I was told you guys were going to take care of this. I provided 2 new rotors." They told me they would resurface the rear rotors or they would put the 2 I bought on the rear. Nothing on the front unless I paid. No pads. I'm frankly tired of typing, but there is so much more. This place is a nightmare to try to deal with and they have the poorest customer service I have ever seen at a major car dealership. read more
