EL and his guys always do a great job, so I wasn't thrilled to have to get out of my comfort zone and find a new place. But with the summer heat in North Carolina, about the last thing you want not working in your vehicle is the air conditioning. I read the glowing reviews of Choice Auto Care on Yelp, and elsewhere, and decided to give them a shot. I am glad I did. Don was quick to get me in, and then out, and the job was done right - and VERY timely. He reminded me of my long-time mechanic from when I lived in South Florida. In fact, the two could almost be twins. It's a little further in distance than I usually go - in fact, I can walk to my 'regular' guy - but I highly suggest Don and the staff at CAC. It is never enjoyable having to get certain repairs done, but if you are going to spend hundreds of dollars for a fix, it's nice to know places exist that will do the job right, and not screw you over trying to upsell and still give great customer service. If you're in the North Raleigh area, definitely give them a call!

What stood out as much as the technical work: he flagged a slow coolant leak and a minor oil leak -- this is an older car, so neither was a shock -- but there was no pressure to pile on services. He showed me rough estimates so I'd have them when I'm ready and left the decisions to me. That kind of straightforward, no-upsell approach is rarer than it should be. The waiting area is a genuine plus: free wifi, a table big enough to work at, and a small fridge with complimentary drinks, large TV. My one suggestion would be to add a coffee in the AM. Also, the door to the reception currently reads "B". Might want to avoid any confusion with better signage. He said he could break it and replace it. BUT he said the tire was fine. I told them it goes flat. He then said he saw a small hole. I asked if they could patch it. He said yes for $10. So that's what I did. I paid & came out. I asked if the other guy had tightened the lug nuts that he had loosened because he was now working on another car. The other guy said yes & that I was good to go. I had been driving my other vehicle but decided to drive my car for my work commute. I felt like something was wrong. My car started shaking uncontrollably. I pulled over twice on a little highway. The 3rd time, I was too scared to continue. I called a tow truck. Had it towed to my mechanic. The tow truck driver looked at it, along with my mechanic. I was missing 2 lug nuts and the others were loose. MY FREAKING TIRE WAS COMING OFF!!!!! The outcome could have been terrible. Blue Flame didn't tighten them. A tire and rim coming off on a highway could have been catastrophic. Needless to say $354 later, I got it fixed. Which could have been avoided if they would have done it right. BE AWARE OF THIS PLACE! IN & OUT TO MAKE A QUICK DOLLAR!!!

Finding an auto repair shop that did quality work at a reasonable price that we could trust and feel comfortable with has always seemed a challenge to us no matter where we lived. We found Creech Import Repair on www.cartalk.com and intend to go nowhere else. They combine being very professional with being very friendly and personable. After some work we had done on our car, we were very surprised to get a hand-written thank you note from them in the mail. My wife has frequently told me how she felt disrespected and talked down to or just dismissed by a lot of car repairmen but she has spoken very highly of Creech Import Repair. Most recently, someone did not yield when they had a stop sign and hit her in the right front, totaling her car. So we sent shopping for a good used car. We decided to invest in having Creech Import Repair inspect used cars we were considering. I had to work so it was up to her to bring them to Creech. She said Stan was unbelievably helpful and respectful in taking her questions seriously and not only answering her questions but taking the time to show her repairs to the vehicle we had not noticed and how to spot them on her own. On one occasion, I called to have a headlight replaced late on a Friday. The last time I had needed this done was 30 or 40 years ago and it required replacing the entire light fixture when getting to it inside the engine was not easy and then it required having it balanced or aimed. I assumed it was still that difficult but due to not having a headlight all weekend, Creech informed me how I could easily do it on my own. I don't think I ever had any repairman help me do something on my own instead of paying them to do it. I sincerely encourage you to give Creech Import Repair a try. Creech Import Auto Repair. In short, They deserve the Five Star Review Ratings. I have been searching for a reliable auto repair shop for my Mazda MX-5 Miata since the Dealership I use to take my Miata to was increasingly more expensive & unreliable. It Took Two weeks & Three phone calls to the Dealership just to get a quote on Wheel bearing service. Since they weren't interested in my business, I started searching the Internet for other options. Creech Imports had consistent Five Star reviews. Steve at Creech immediately gave me a quote nearly half the price of the Dealership. Creech was able to take my Miata for service the next day. I dropped it off at 7:30 am & by 9:00 am I received a phone call from Creech giving me a total breakdown of all the service the Miata needed. Either they had a NASCAR Pit Crew go over the vehicle, or the Mechanic knew what he was doing. I knew I needed several things fixed, (Wheel bearing on front driver side only, Brakes, Head Light bulbs, Oil change, Wiper Linkage, Air intake cowling & a few other items) but didn't know exactly what their services included. I was informed on what needed to be done, but was never pressured into having anything worked on. Upon receiving a quote for everything I choose to have most of the repairs performed. A few parts had to be ordered through Mazda & I would have to return to complete those few items. I was called just after noon to tell me the vehicle was ready. A dozen repairs done in Four hours is amazing! Talk about a NASCAR Pit Crew getting you back in the Race, Creech is all about that. The Miata runs like New! Fast, Reliable Honest, Professional & Friendly. I found My repair shop for all my vehicles. Honda, Toyota, Subaru & Mazda. Totally happy with Creech Imports! Thank you Guys! read more

I had a semi-solid relationship with my old mechanic shop, and then a family friend who worked there left and suddenly every time I took my car in, it needed a minimum of $2000 worth of work or it "would not pass inspection." I got my car repaired there several times before I was tired of $2000 of "mandatory work." I took it to Creech for a second opinion, and they have been wonderful. They clearly explained some issues but they did not push unnecessary repairs on me. My car passed inspection fine without that several grand repair the other shop wanted me to get done. I have taken my car there ever since (roughly two years now) for oil changes and other issues that arise and they are great. Easy to make appointments, staff is friendly, they seem to be understanding that car repairs are expensive. I like the feature where I get a text explaining the issues and it lets me approve certain repairs and decline others. Recently, I was driving my car to work and my engine started overheating and smoking, I took my car straight to Creech and they took it in and got it looked at as soon as possible, no appointment or anything. I called them after they took a look at it and they explained it clearly and make me feel much more confident about spending the money to get it fixed. My car is a 2005 Buick with plenty of life left in her (knock on wood) and I will keep taking her here. read more

Been going to Creech for close to almost 8 years now and they have been the greatest! Stan and the guys are phenomenal, professional, courteous and great to work with. They've gone beyond the call of duty many times, and have even on many occasions, provided transportation for me to and from work and even home!. This shop saved my car! After being told by another mechanic that my engine was blown, I had my car towed to Creech for a second opinion. Not only did they confirm my engine was fine, but they fixed my car in less than 24 hours after their diagnosis for less than what they initially quoted me. There are plenty of shops that will tell you things to fix that you do not need right then. Creech told me some issues that they noticed and talked me through what needed immediate attention and what could wait. These guys are so honest and fair! My car is now running the best it ever has. Highly Recommend! I took my 2007 Honda Accord into Leith Honda because I was having problems with it starting. After dropping it off, 5 hrs later, I get a call that the repair is going to be $1,083. this of course is after the $150 diagnosis. I did my research and called a few other places to get an estimate and to see what others have to say when I tell them the problem. I found this really great place Creech Imports (great people, efficient, great work), they diagnosed the problem, said it was not the problem they told me at Leith Honda and fixed it for A LOT less than what they were going to charge me at Honda. I was directed to this shop via Angie's List. They had great reviews and after several appointments I am also a very happy customer. First, their prices are way under the dealership. They are courteous and professional. All of the work they have done has been excellent AND they stand behind their repairs. I've recommended several people and they have all come back and said this is now the only repair shop they will use. Coming from a small town, where everyone knows everyone, this was still the best service I've ever had with an auto shop. After many recommendations from my fellow neighbors I took my 07 Honda Element there for a second opinion. I am glad I did as many of the suggested repairs costing a lot of money from the other shop Creech did not find. I asked about those suggested repairs and Creech said they were not that there. Had them do the repairs they found (which costed a lot less) and left with a sound running car. I recently brought my Element back for another round and once again the service and communication was top notch. I took my vehicle to Creech for a general service. One concern I had was a service warning light had come on. Creech very carefully did the service needs, which took care of the warning light. They could have told me the warning light meant a high cost repair and I would not have known otherwise. They were honest, efficient and very fair with the final charges. I know this is an odd thing to say about a mechanic shop, but I love going to Creech. I have taken every car of my household there exclusively for at least 15 (maybe 20?) years. The mechanics and front desk team are friendly, and they treat me like their neighbor. They do great work, and they are very straightforward about the work your car needs and the work it doesn't need. Their prices are fair and they do what they say. I am very satisfied with my experience at Creech imports. I love how they contact you during the process. Their techs do Quality work at a reasonable price. I highly recommend Creech if you have an import vehicle of any kind. I had a misfire on my 2012 tundra which turned out requiring more work than three other shops would not do. They don't make a repair which is unnecessary. They don't try to scare you into agreeing to have expensive, unneeded repairs figuring that the anxiety of not having them done would encourage you to OK them. They even verified that new tires that our tire dealer said that we needed were not needed now because the current tires were fine wrt tread wear and other features. More anxiety relief. They also do top-quality repairs. We have taken our two vehicles there for the past three years, one of which is almost 30 years old. Some repairs appeared to us that they may be undoable but they have solved every problem. They only use manufacturer replacement parts which may cost a little more or delay a repair but are likely to last much longer than using cheap generic parts but then charging the manufacture prices. Their labor charges are entirely reasonable. The manager, Will, is incredibly knowledgeable and capable of running a three-ring circus if needed. Because of their outstanding service, it is typical to have to wait a couple of weeks for an appointment.

If available, they have loaner vehicles or do shuttle service which is such a great add-on to their amazing customer service. If you are waiting, there is a waiting room with comfortable seating and magazines for reading. They give you a call during the waiting process to update you on your vehicle. We never feel pressured to purchase unnecessary extras but are informed when there may be future visits. The best thing though, is the cookie they put in your car when you leave. He's always looking to help me save my money so that its not wasted on the unnecessary and has been successful in figuring out problems the dealership couldn't figure out. When I've bought a new (used) car, he let me know what fails on it a lot and what to look out for (a couple years later the thing he said would go, did in fact go, and it was great I knew to keep watching it)! His daughter takes a bit of getting used to in the front office, but has improved over the last year, so for those that were turned off for that reason, its improved!

The next day the car was ready. Quick COVID note- the indoor waiting area is closed, call the number at the door and someone will come out to assist. When I picked up the car, my teen was with me. I was offered a student discount which was unexpected and great! The interaction was great and I have found my new mechanic. Great customer service and transparent with car needs.
