I've been coming here for over a year and always enjoyed my visits--until recently. Without notifying me, they've apparently been having issues processing insurance claims with Aetna. Suddenly, I'm being asked to pay out of pocket for visits that were supposed to be covered. At my last appointment, the receptionist only mentioned this after my adjustment, asking me to self-pay on the spot. When I called on Monday for clarification, all I got was a simple "sorry." Now they're billing me $680 because Aetna supposedly changed their network status--something they claim they didn't know about. How is that my responsibility? After more than ten visits without insurance payments, they should've informed me much earlier so I could decide whether to continue treatment. It's disappointing to see how little transparency there's been. Beware--this office seems more focused on collecting money than caring for their patients. read more

READ ALL OF THIS PLEASE: Save yourself the headache, do not get rolled by these people. I want to preface this by saying that this was the first time I've ever tried a chiropractor. Prior to my adjustment, I was asked for my insurance. They processed it. Then, they told me to come back for my treatment. The adjustment was nice, I thought it was fun. Now here's where it gets shady: Afterwards, I was escorted to the front desk where I was told that my insurance had actually declined, and that I needed to pay out of pocket. This is despite the fact that they made it sound like my insurance had cleared, and would cover everything prior to my adjustment. I had already given them all of my insurance info when I had first walked through the door, and they outright told me that they would take my insurance. Mind you, I waited for around 30 minutes while they were processing my info. When I contested the out of pocket payment of $135, they told me that they had "just began accepting Cigna today". As luck would have it, they told my partner the same exact thing when she went for the first time two weeks prior. I feel played, do not trust these people. Don't let the nice interior and prime real estate deceive you, You must ABSOLUTELY make sure your insurance clears before you get your adjustment. Do not let them touch you unless that payment goes through first. And here's the cherry on top. The woman, who's identity I will protect, even whispered to me that it was a scam, and that there was nothing she could do. Do not come here, see a real physical therapist if you're really in pain! read more

Stop searching for reviews of Chiropractors and go to Thompson Chiropractic now... Not all Chiropractors are created equal. In just 2 visits, Dr. Christina Brinker did nothing short of change my life- and I mean this with zero exaggeration. The pain I was experiencing in my upper back and hip was at a consistent 8 out of 10- to include numbness and tingling in those locations as well as radiating to my fingers and leg. It consumed the majority of my attention/ focus and has been for the last 2 years, with the last 6 months where it became unbearable. It got to the point that I firmly believed these feelings/ pain were something that I will be living with for the remainder of my life, regardless of professional Chiropractic treatment. I sit in front of a PC for 10-14 hours a day/ work from home and the pains that come along with that posture for extended durations have taken a very negative toll on my body. Those pains over time multiplied into a distraction that became debilitating. After giving up on "self-cracking", foam rolling 20 times a day, buying hundreds of dollars worth of traction devices, heat pads, a tube of Icy Hot per day, etc. - I gave up and started frequenting a local chain Chiropractor located in a strip mall nearby. Went there at least 20 times over the last 6 months. I'd get "adjusted" and feel what I thought was better, but after experiencing what I did after switching to Thompson Chiropractic....After just 24 hours, I know now that none of those previous attempts were anything close to actual treatment. I always thought throughout my experience with back pain, given its severity that even if I were to find the absolute best professional Chiropractic remedy, it would only eliminate some of the pain due to how constant and severe it was. It just did not seem possible... And this was further confirmed for me after going to another local chiropractor for many months and feeling what difference that made... However, Dr. Christina Brinker & Thompson Chiropractic changed that thought for me. Yesterday morning I woke up beyond frustrated with pain and numbness that was almost too much to handle. Today, as I happily write this review only 24 hours later, my pain has not only been brought to a manageable level - But completely eliminated. My major pain locations now feel nothing at all. All numbness and tingling are gone. I am feeling relief in areas that I was not even aware were in pain due to having those feelings for so long... I will continue to use Thompson Chiropractic/ Dr. Christina Brinker and will refer them to anyone who voices issues with back pain. After experiencing competitors, It's amazing to me that their prices are as competitive as they are in comparison to other local Chiropractors... The pricing is similar, The service, however, is not. I recently saw Dr. Amy Thompson for a quick adjustment at her new location on Broughton St. The office itself is nice and bright and super inviting! Her staff is also lovely and made me feel welcomed right away.
