I don't think a person should be judged based on the type of work they do on the commission they will get. You should treat everybody with the same respect and the same importance as buying a first time home for 300,000 versus buying who knows what where your commission will be a lot better. I had to check in with two other realtors to get their input and advice in regards to him because I thought I was overreacting when I definitely should feel comfortable with who I'm working with. You're in a field where patience and being caring and listening to what your client wants is key. When someone tells you a budget that means stick to it not tell them to go make money and find a higher one and make it work or at least give off that vibe.

No wonder all other agents in the area are not too excited to work with this company. Results: you don't get what the home is worth in the market. One of the buyer who became a friend confirmed after the sale that he would have paid another $20K for this beautiful home but his agent got him a great deal. Another buyer's agent confirmed that no correspondence from this company even though the offer was sent. Not sure if it is even legally correct. He scheduled all the improvements we wanted done to the house before listing, including painting, cleaning, landscaping, and staging, and made sure that we managed to list the house on the targeted date, despite some delays in the improvements. He was patient in explaining the range of offers, along with the pros/cons of each offer, and the contingencies in play. He also gave one last chance to the buyers to improve their offers based on the best set of terms we had in the first round of offers, which helped us get a faster close and a higher price for the offer we accepted. We were happy with the final price we got, which was about 6% over the listing price. He also helped us tie up some loose ends by forwarding our mail when USPS didn't get the forwarding right, and taking out our trash cans since we overlooked doing that before we moved. Overall, great service from a real estate professional with a lot of experience. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Todd.
