We first met Michael and Haley at an open house where we were so impressed by their warmth, knowledge and professionalism, that we knew we had to work with them. As first time home-buyers, we had a lot of questions and didn't know where to start. Michael and Haley were so patient and took to time to provide us with invaluable education so that we would feel confident in navigating the home buying journey from start to finish. Even with our crazy irregular work schedules, they made themselves available to answer our many questions, concerns, and requests via phone and text.   Michael and Haley worked seamlessly as a team to ensure that we had all the information available for our list of prospective homes so that we could make informed decisions. The duo was so detail oriented and responsive, that we felt like we were in good hands. We never felt pressured to make a decision and they genuinely wanted us to find the home that we would love and not settle for anything less. Looking back, we could not have imagined going through the incredibly stressful process of buying our first home without the expertise and authenticity of Michael and Haley.   To our surprise, we were able to close on our new home in just over a month and with our first attempt at making an offer. No wonder all other agents in the area are not too excited to work with this company. Results: you don't get what the home is worth in the market. One of the buyer who became a friend confirmed after the sale that he would have paid another $20K for this beautiful home but his agent got him a great deal. Another buyer's agent confirmed that no correspondence from this company even though the offer was sent. Not sure if it is even legally correct. Anyways, sellers (or even buyers) not a good choice to list with company. My 2 cents.

We did end up buying a house but it was at times challenging and frustrating. It's always hard to know what is supposed to happen when you are a first time buyer. Right from the start I was irritated by the fact that their office had little patience nor courtesy for people of different cultures. The one thing that made us choose them was their knowledge of programs that no one else educated us about. We ended up not needing the special programs, but Rick Fuller's group caught our attention because of their willingness to help and explain this stuff. We met them by chance when visiting a open house in Antioch. But let me summarize everything that went wrong after that and how this should matter to others like us. We had other family who were stakeholders in this purchase, but they do not speak English. During our consultations, our agent as well as the lady that the Fuller team worked with that does the financing made it a complete nightmare and showed little patience for me and our family, not only for me trying to understand everything, but also for me in trying to translate this all in real time back to everyone else in another language. It was not only difficult for me, but there was zero concern from the Fuller team that they cared about everyone involved understanding what we were getting into, particularly with financing. It took numerous demands from me to the finance person to STOP calling me on the fly asking me questions and to make decisions on the spot and requesting her to email instead so I can translate it back to others. She simply would not do it and would call and call me at work until she got the answer she wanted. Eventually, I had to demand to work with someone else. In hindsight I should have revoked my consent with everyone involved. We did not have a great connection with our real estate agent, though I give her kudos for trying. She never seemed to really get what we were in the market for so we did a lot of searching on our own. At one point, we found an amazing house in Vallejo, only to be told (by the same finance lady) that the loan limits in Solano are not the same and we couldn't get the house. Sad thing is, neither our agent nor the finance lady mentioned this after we had looked at numerous houses in Vallejo. Another strike for these guys. Ultimately we found a house on our own and ended up purchasing it. The process went quickly after that, albeit with more of the "we don't care that you have to translate any of this to someone else" drama as long as someone signs the paperwork. There's more to the story, but I will summarize with this...after we purchased our home, with most of it feeling very transactional and not personalized, we never really saw our agent after that and felt exactly that, the transaction was done. One would think that you'd get a nice gift given they made a bunch of money (like $20K+) doing not a whole lot but giving you stress. Well, we received a $20 Amazon Echo in the mail as a gift. It's essentially a cheap clock, which of course, in our culture, means death (and is pretty worthless for the rest of the family that doesn't speak English). Google is free. Just unbelievable. How are you going to assist families with life decisions like this and not attempt to understand anything about them is beyond me.
