SO disappointed in the company. I have gotten several dumpsters from them in the past couple of years and this time I got a 15 yard dumpster to dispose of a deck and got it for 3 days and they charged me $212 extra for overage of the weight I rented BUT I did not complain that they kept the dumpster in my yard for an extra day even though it was an inconvenience as I had another dumpster for roof and siding I was having removed and they do not have 30 yard dumpster to rent. No notification on the extra charge and how do I know that this is true without seeing a printout from the dumping location of this weight. I was told by the receptionist that they do not notify you which is shady to me since I am entrusting that they are being true and unfortunately, they can upcharge anyone and who would know. I will not be referring this company any further as I did not feel like this was fair. Show me the overage and then I would feel that I know it was. Receptionist said I was yelling at her and was asking a question as I am not going to know how much was in the dumpster ( weight wise) and it was not even close to full and their website states the size for the jobs you need it for. I am in customer service and would allow my client to speak and be rational but this girl definitely should not be the customer service for this company. read more

We've used TWR twice now for dumpster rental, and had a good experience with them both times. For both rentals, we had the dumpster an extra day (free of charge, just based on their pick-up schedule), which was nice, and the crew was very friendly. For the second rental, during pick-up, they accidentally left some gouges in our driveway from where the dumpster was, but customer service was great and only charged us for the "extra cost" items we had put in the dumpster. I would recommend TWR, and will definitely use them in the future. read more

I needed a dumpster to accommodate the removal of old concrete stairs and discovered that many companies no longer allow concrete disposal. Thompson did allow it and the price seemed reasonable enough based on estimated size needed for two weeks, so I hired them. Drop-off and pick-up of the dumpster were seamless, drivers were very nice and professional. I confess that I was surprised when I was billed because even though the dumpster was not full, I was charged a lot more than I expected due to the weight of the concrete. When I called for an explanation, the woman I dealt with could not have been nicer. She was able to explain the bottom line to my satisfaction in a very understanding and understandable way. Although she never pointed it out, the mistake was mine. I should have done research in advance rather than after the fact which is when I discovered an online calculator that translated estimated cubic feet of concrete into tons. As it turns out, the amount I was billed was not at all out of line. I was simply uneducated as to how much concrete might weigh. I would definitely use Thompson again. read more

Awesome company with great customer service. We have been using them for a little over a year for weekly trash pick-up and they go above and beyond. They have taken extra, gone down the driveway to get the barrels if we forget to put them out and even beep and wave at my 2 year old when she watches for "the big truck". Good prices but horrible customer service. I ordered a 3 day special and they were late picking it up which I didn't mind. After the took it away they called 2 days later while I was at work on a Friday to tell me the bill. Since I was working I couldn't answer so they charged me anyways and now won't answer any calls nor have they sent an email with the bill. read more

They are ok - for the most part they did what they say they would. In my town, recycling was every other week, on a different day than the trash pickup. It just made things more difficult that if it was all on the same day. Also, I like to pay my bills online, and they can only do automatic billing or you send in a paper check. I have switched to a different company that's a little cheaper and offers more services. read more
