Is this heaven?…read more Apparently I've been antique store shopping all wrong because Gum's blows everything else out of the water. It's like a theme park practically without rides. There's the usual vendor booths that I'm guessing are rented? They're themed accordingly. There's a hidden rail car of sorts, there's uranium glass, there's laser discs, there's all sorts of magazines, there's action figures, there's Joe jost tees. There's EVERYTHING. Heck. There's even benches placed around for you to sit. There's turtles to feed and a really sweet kitty named Luna who loves to be pet upstairs. The cockatoo in the main photo has since passed but apparently they were awesome. The people working here are super knowledgeable and helpful so you don't have to dig around if you don't feel like it (I live for the treasure hunt personally). Prices are beyond fair and they even have marked sales and events for deeper discounts. This place is seriously a dream.

Their shop was spotless and they had a number of items to inspect and that is what sealed the deal for us is that their shop was spotless and very nice things they were working on. They also came and picked up the desk and delivered it back here as well... this was a risk for us because we had reached out to a handful of companies a couple years ago and looked at their work online and was just not happy with their work. I had Heredia Antiques do a refinish and some minor restoration work on an American of Martinsville…read moremid century display case. I am beyond satisfied with the workmanship, the turnaround time, and the friendliness of Zeferino Heredia and his staff. I requested that they try to keep the new finish as close as possible to the original finish, and they were able to reproduce it perfectly. All of the dents, dings, scuffing, and scratches are no longer visible, and the worst damage (a large crack on the inside of the one of the doors) is fixed and no longer visible. This piece is ready to go for another lifetime. It was one week from pickup to dropoff, which I found very surprising considering the quality of the work. After I spent some time to look over the piece in detail once it was dropped off, I noticed just how much care was put into the restoration. The finish is completely smooth and uniform, and even the dirty aluminum hardware was cleaned and polished. The work was so well done that it's not obvious that any restoration work was performed, which is exactly what I (and I expect most customers) want for an antique restoration. It's also worth noting that I called another furniture restoration company before Heredia who quoted about double what Heredia charged, including the delivery (pickup and dropoff) charges. I don't think it's possible that the other company could have done a better job than what was done by Heredia. In the attached photos, there are some before and after pics of some of the most significant wear/damage that was repaired. I am now actively looking for more good deals on worn/beat-up mid century pieces so that I can have more work done by Heredia Antiques. I highly recommend them and will work with them again without hesitation.

They don't understand the word "no". Then they proceeded to end the estate sale that very day because I didn't give into them coming at the hour I was having visitors. On top of that, a set of collector pins in a frame my dad had made for me was ripped open, and all the vintage Mickey Mouse pins were stolen, later that day I found the frame in the trash. They have just about everything of many niches -- there's clothes, fragrances, food, toys, fresh produce and meats, etc. My friend was able to find a new longboard and some digital devices/technology. But as usual, there's FAKE items here. Fake fragrances, fake toys. Lots of junk you 100% dont need secondhand
