worst customer service ever. i thought I'd be in and out and pay a premium to fill my tire at this pump instead of going and waiting at Wawa for free air and just got a flat tire from their machine instead. when asking Karen at the front register for a refund or a solution she provided me nothing. waste of time. fortunately Mavis across the street has an air pump that I needed to walk across the street with a baby to find some sort of solution. read more

I have been a loyal customer of my neighborhood's Thornton's for 6 years. I received an ALERT from American Express yesterday that my card had been used for a $200.00 fraudulent transaction at Thornton's. The transaction was not mine. Am Ex will reverse. I stopped by the Thornton's to tell them about the fraud and I spoke with the manager. She could not have cared less. She was rude and indifferent. I was disappointed as I was only trying to be helpful in making the report of the fraud. Oh well. read more

This gas station has had 20 pumps. It is at least one available for the customers. Consider this is a plus. No wait is needed. The price is consider low in this area. Compared to entire Tampa Bay Area, their price is reasonable. The display price is credit or cash is same price which is I like. The gas station is clean outside. The security cameras every where in their compound. Some of the cameras to the pump which make this area secure at night. read more

Amazing service 1/13/2024 @2:41 AM the staff tonight is beyond exceptional service. I was coming in for a snickers because I'm in my feelings over my first born is in the hospital. My first born is caring my first grand baby and is extremely in critical condition. I have worked 14 years in the Emergency room and have seen everything imaginable. Tonight hit hard because this is my blood. For some reason I thought King snickers were still on sale buy one get 1 for one buck. Obviously, I was wrong and only brought in a 5 dollar bill. Long story short I came back with a dollar and just started crying and pouring my heart out. First thing is when I didn't have enough money she didn't give me a look like I'm crazy. Second when I came back she offered me candy that was one buck. This employee listened and cared....even asked me questions like she knew I needed her at that very moment to be kind. My daughter name is Angel but this employee was the true ANGEL. I wish I had more than 6 bucks on me I would of bought the entire basket of candy on sale plus my two king peanut butter snickers. I have worked for the same company 20 years and this world today since Covid has made some people not so nice. Tonight Thornton BigBend this employee deserves a raise for going above and beyond. I am a very private person. I don't like over sharing or crying in front of people because I'm not soft. She made me feel like I have known her for years. Men's restroom was so disgustingly dirty it reminded me of a really shitty bar. The only thing missing there was a really tall bearded guy saying "what up buddy" in a really creepy way. There was piss all over the floor and it smelled like your regular state fair latrine. read more

SPOTLESS!! Twice I've had to come inside this store and both times the inside was immaculate! I haven't used the bathroom so I can't speak on that but there is absolutely nothing ghetto about this location. The staff is always polite, the floors are clean, the beverage area was clean, the condiments area for hot dogs was spotless! Even I was shocked how clean it was! I didn't notice until today they have a really cool softserve ice cream station. You have a choice of ice cream cones or cups and toppings! Sprinkles, butterfinger pieces, peanut m&ms, nuts or cookies!! You would think this area would be messy but nope! In fact there was someone there checking the area to insure it was clean. I noticed all of this as I walked in to get a cup of ice which they charge for by the way! Obviously it's not your average gas station and I'm super happy it's not far. read more
