You can wait 1 1/2 to 2 hours after your appointment just for them to get started on your car. This info they do NOT make clear. After speaking with the manager, the mechanics could NOT even give him an answer as to how much longer the work will take. If you insist on using them for tires, plan to leave your vehicle there all day. The savings may not be worth the time lost without your vehicle. read more

Although they don't carry everything on my shopping list, the prices are worth it for those things they do have. I enjoy their seasonal offerings like the seafood around the holidays. I'm not sure what goes into the hiring process but there were just clusters of employees goofing off and then roll their eyes when you approach with a question. Additionally, the blonde lady with glasses at the customer service counter was so rude and unwelcoming that due to principal I almost didn't sign up for a membership today. I went to Sam's today and I'm handicap and of course my scooter. The battery died and I asked a worker if they would be able to get me another one since it was really hard for me to walk because of neuropathy he told me I would have to go to the front to talk to a manager to get another one.. I asked more than one person and when I asked for a manager, they told me I'd have to go up to the front to get one. I do not recommend this Sam's Club to other Sam's Club members. Sam's tire and battery. Unbelievable experience. Don't get me wrong. I love to shop at Sam's Club. I shop there all the time. But my experience with the Automotive part is no good. I bought some tires from there maybe about 6 months ago. Took it back 2 months ago because my tire signal came on the dashboard. Right rear. I asked them to check it out. Plus to rotate and balance because my vehicle was shaking when I go 60 mph and higher. Two months after. The same thing happens. My tire lights comes on every 2 days after putting air in it every two days. Now I went back to Sam's a week ago to get it checked. Plus I still had vibrating going on. I made an appointment for today. The guy telling me he doesn't see my appointment. Now I have to wait 2 hrs now. Praying they would fix the problem. This is really unexceptionable. So be aware. Very large place! A lot of selection! Very well priced and the staff here are very friendly and welcoming! They have everything from wine to food to outdoor furniture! Went to this Sams club to have a tire changed. Turned out to be an awful experience. I walk out and immediately notice wiring hanging below from the frame. I ask about it and was told it was like that and they thought I knew. I say wouldn't it be wise to to let me know before you start the work if that was like that beforehand. The supervisor agreed that would be a good idea. I go in to show the supervisor the damage. He looked and said there was no way that could have happened there. Maybe it happened on the drive to the store that day. The manager did not have the time to come out and look at what was going on. So I'm sure I'll have to pay for their mistake out of pocket. I purchased th his chicken from Sams Club last night. Went in and spoke to the manger Lee Galligher and and his thing was let me take a picture of your picture. You are not the only one to complain lately about raw chicken. He said it's not the rotisserie chicken machine it's the type of chicken they are getting from vendors. He stared the chicken is not raw it just look raw!! WTF?? Also what I don't understand if you knew this from previous customers and you are telling me some story about it not being the rotisserie machine but the chicken from the vendors why are you still selling rotisserie chicken? I can't say I ever had a negative experience at this location. I always find what I want or need. Prices are great. The store is always clean. When I get gas the attendants are always nice, it's organized compared to getting gas in Brandon which is a mad house. If you aren't using the Sams Scan and Go app you're waiting time checking out in line. That has been the best thing Sam's ever did. You check yourself out on your phone, walk up and show them receipt and you're out the door. It's genius and I wish more stores offered it. read more

I really like my Sam's Club in Wesley Chapel. However, their credit card services are ATROCIOUS. When I renewed my membership I noticed my cashback wasn't loading into my account. I had to call member services and synchrony probably a total of about 8 times. Around the 6th time I demanded a supervisor cause they all kept telling me to wait 30 more days, or wait 60 more days and then nothing would be fixed. They also constantly went back-and-forth on whether it was synchrony or membership services fault. Supervisor was able to help me but then I just recently ran into an issue about 5 months later. I used the credit card to pay for an international flight. I verified the transaction in their text but they still said I needed to call, so I did. Verified, went ahead and purchased the tickets. All good right? Unfortunately not, they locked my account and didn't tell me (despite my number and e-mail being available to contact). Found out at the gas station it wasn't working. Called them later to verify-they tell me to use a link they sent me. Of course their app won't scan my less than 1 year old driver's license barcode. They told me, oh it's an issue when you're on the phone with us so try doing it after we hang up. Of course it doesn't work, then I call back and they tell me in 7-10 days I'll get a letter to verify my information. I explained all my autopays go to this credit card and I'll be international for over 2 weeks so I'll miss all my payments. They said there's nothing they can do, even supervisor can't do anything, not even expedite the mail to me. Total bs. I have never asked for a supervisor in my life when dealing with customer service but I've had to on 2 different occasions in the last 6 months cause of how horrible this credit card company is. I unfortunately will not be renewing my sam's club membership despite the convenience of it being on my way home from work. It is anything but convenient, so I am going back to BJ's. The staff weren't very friendly & when I went to go to check out, the older woman told me I had to transfer my heavy packs of water & 25lb rice into a new cart instead of using the scanner. I felt as if she assumed I would steal or discriminate thinking I was on Food stamps. And my wife agreed to make it an early Christmas gift. I was at Sam's two days before the sale and the beautiful SAMSUNG 85" Class QN85BD-Series Neo QLED 4K Smart television of my dreams was already marked down $200. I was delighted the sale price was already posted and rushed to purchase it before they sold out. My heart's desire was so big I had to call one of my sons and a grandson to take it out of the truck for me. I was overjoyed and elated for two days and then the Instant Savings bulletin came out and the price was $200 less than I paid and I was crushed. I felt like an idiot and an old fool. Today I set out on a fool's errand, to get Sam's Club to give me the Instant Savings price on a TV I bought two days before the sale. At the customer service desk, I was greeted by a young man with a name tag, "Meques". I really wanted to talk to the other representative, a woman. I am much more effective in charming women. I said to Meques, "Are you a compassionate and kind person?" A bit confused he responded, "When I want to be." Humbly, I continued, "I have a problem and need a kind and compassionate person to help me." Meques jumped through hoops, cut red tape and moved Heaven and Earth until he worked out a way to hand me two hundred-dollar bills, a ten and a five, $215. Who would have thought this was possible. Meques, a kind and compassionate young man at Sam's on Big Bend Road, went over and above to give excellent customer service. This quality of customer service deserves recognition. read more

Sam's Club, the store where everything is super sized. You need a membership to shop here, but it is pretty affordable. They run specials every so often and even Groupon has had deals from time to time. Food quality is really good so it's worth it. Plus they have a gasoline station on site and the savings there alone are pretty great. A small food court with quick and cheap snacks like pizza, hot dogs, pretzels, ect is also inside the store so it's convenient if you need something quick to eat if you're starving and grocery shopping. This store doesn't have the option to self pay which is a big one for me. I enjoy coming in and walking out easily when this option is available. Overall the place has good deals, cheap gas, and food. Just don't stop by on the weekends, the place is extremely packed. read more

Wish I could give this store zero stars for their disgusting customer service. We just moved to the area so had to do a large shop. Nearly $700 spent. One item was a gift card that apparently didn't activate due to a system error leaving me owed a refund of $37.50. The lady tending to the self serve registers couldn't figure out how to refund me, so called a supervisor over. Krystal came over to assist and the first (dumb) question she asked, even though it was noted on the screen, was how did you pay? I pointed to the screen and handed her my card. She insisted if she put my card in the card reader for the already completed transaction it would refund me. Obviously it did not. She tried several other things to help, none of which worked. I then asked for a manager as Krystal was insistent that the order be cancelled and re-rung. I explained the transaction was already processing on my card thus subtracting it from my balance and if she charged my card again it would decline as their was no longer a sufficient balance to cover the transaction. A manager named Nikki finally came over and she and Krystal rudely whispered, pointed, laughed, and bullshitted with another employee all while leaving my husband and I stand there. After several minutes, over 5, we asked if we can get the refund we were owed. Nikki angrily yelled at me, while hitting the self service checkout station, "there's no damn money in here. I can't just give you damn money that doesn't exist!" Gee Nikki, you're a shining example of great customer service. Nikki insisted the only way to solve the issue was to cancel and re-ring the entire transaction. My husband and I both explained, as we had done before, that the transaction was already processing on my card thus subtracting it from my balance and if she charged my card again it would decline as their was no longer a sufficient balance to cover the transaction. Nikki told me I had no idea what I was talking about and I must be "a special kind of stupid". I assured her I was very familiar of how my card worked as it's been my account for over two decades. I told her to go ahead and cancel my transaction and when she couldn't re-charge it without it being declined she could pay for my groceries. No surprise she declined to cancel it. After another 12 minutes of Nikki and her crew hemming and hawing but not fixing anything they decided they'd ring up another gift card and then take us to another counter to refund the gift card. Somehow, though I was due a refund of $37.50 I was only refunded $35. Nikki and Krystal were absolutely appealing to deal with. Their rudeness, smugness, and unwillingness to admit they were clueless were disgusting. Imagine being kept 45 minutes after you checked out, belittled, yelled at, and called names all bc of a mistake they made. I'll be cancelling my membership and going to Costco instead as I'd never want to encounter a person as awful as Nikki again. read more

I love this place, but I can't go in here without spending $100 !! Today, it was over $200 because hubby found a deal on shirts and bought like 8 of them. Like any of the big box stores, Sam's offers great deals on anything from celery to patio furniture. You have your staple mainstays, coffee, peanut butter (yeah crunchy!!), fruit snacks for the grandkids,,,,etc. But I think the real fun is finding the clothing deals, DVD's, beach paraphernalia, and books. Once they were selling 5 pounds of chicken breasts for $5 a package because they had overbought. Wish they would overbuy every few months like that. I find everything high quality and worth the price. For us, since it's just the 2 of us, if I buy peanut butter it will last us months because everything comes in jumbo size! So many times we have to pass on some deals because it's just too much. Great for families though if you have the room to stock up. This particular store is always very neat and clean, employees are friendly and helpful and don't forget the $1.50 lunch specials, hot dog & a coke! I've been a Sam's Club member for over 10 years, but up until recently, I hadn't been utilizing it for it's full potential. Now, we make it a monthly trip and have a specific list for all our necessities. This particular location is one of the nicest and cleanest I've ever been to. It's definitely one of the largest locations as well. The shelves are always fully stocked and organized and we never have any trouble locating items from the properly labels aisles. The checkout lines are plentiful and always conveniently occupied with plenty of service representatives. If you visit on a Friday or Saturday, be sure to browse through the food aisles. There are always plenty of sampling to be done through the many vendors and representatives on the floor. read more

My recent grocery shopping experience was a bit frustrating. I was almost complete with my list and only needed toilet paper, water and chocolate drizzled popcorn. That's when I realized the usual locations of these items had be moved. After walking back and forth, I finally found the items, but they weren't in their designated location. Some items for example, the popcorn, was in neither the chip aisle or the vending aisle, but up against the wall near the soda. Despite this recent shopping experiencing, i still enjoy shopping here. It's nice and clean, the employees spark conversations, food sample hour is great, and I particularly like the atmosphere during the week. All in all, if you cannot find something make sure to ask! Great disappointment. Usually long waiting lines on check out. Almost every day I need to stop at Sam's because it's on my way to work and I need to pick up a few things for my business. Lately I try very hard to avoid Big Bend and rather stop at the Brandon branche. Way better organized so I can get in and out fast. Also much friendlier employees! The (older) lady working inside the liquor store should look for another job. She is one of the most grumpiest people I have ever come around and I have experienced that a few times over a longer period of time. Don't know why she still works there!? She can't even say hello/ thank you and so forth. Does she miss all the meetings in the mornings? Does she know about customer service? The customer service at the gas station is atrocious! The guy yelled at us to be careful an not spill the gas- the leakage was from the people in front of us- that was a couple of weeks ago when we were here. Today I went up to the kiosk to see if I could prepay up there because we have a large 2 tank truck and wanted $250 worth of gas. He literally said to me " that's dumb how would I do that?" "I don't know what you want" I did not have a mask on so it wasn't that he couldn't understand me and I do not have an accent of any kind so it was about that. I asked him again" I need $250 in gas and the machine only lets us do $100. Can I prepay with you so we can get $250 in gas? He then told us how fo you think I can do that? My daughter's FIRST birthday was last week and about 2 weeks ago I placed an order for a small cake and cupcakes (they come together), plus an addition order of cupcakes. I wanted something different and I like their cakes, so I wanted to give Sam's a chance... When my father in law went to pick up the cakes the morning of the party at 9:30am (as I was told by the bakery staff), they only had the small cake and surrounding cupcakes. I called them to advise we were missing the other cupcakes and the women was so rude and nasty on the phone. Not once did she offer any solutions or apologize.
