He came as a recommendation but maybe things were different years ago. He didn't care about guiding me through my first pregnancy, sat down and just asked "what questions do you have?". The office was a mess with appointments; They mess up 3 of my appointments. One was scheduled for an ultrasound and it was not needed. (So, of course, insurance didn't cover it but I was charged for it anyway.) I could never get a hold of billing. No one ever called back as promised. Bills ran up without explanation of what was covered and not by insurance (I have great insurance too). I would find out once I was already billed and the paperwork arrived at home. Huge wait times in the lobby as well as once you were inside the examination space. I once waited over 45 min in a gown, after waiting in the lobby and finally left without seeing Weiss. Wasted so much money and time. I hugely regret going to this office and seeing Dr. Gil Weiss.

The visit lasted barely five minutes and included only a basic exam. Yet we were billed not only for that, but also as if it had been an extended, high-complexity evaluation -- plus a separate emotional/behavioral assessment that was never performed. That kind of add-on seems especially out of place coming from a gynecologist. When we raised concerns and asked for accurate billing, the office responded with hostility. The doctor reversed a prior written agreement and even accused us of trying to commit insurance fraud -- a baseless and offensive charge made simply because we questioned the bill. This experience was misleading, overpriced, and dismissive of valid concerns. I would strongly caution anyone considering care here, especially if you rely on insurance.

Went through fertility and I thought that we had a pretty good relationship. He'd always always late. I was used to it so I would always call to see how late. He never called people back. I got used to that too. I had an issue that wouldn't go away. I called and nothing. Called again nothing. He never called me. I needed to talk to a dr so I ended up calling after hours and another Dr. called me. We had a great conversation and the next day I called to cancel my next appointment with Sibul and made an appointment with the woman that I spoke to. Well a few days after that the Dr. that I spoke with called me and explained that I could not see her as a patient as I am already a patient of Dr. Sibul. WHAT?? Crazy. So the appointment was cancelled and then 3 weeks later I GOT A BILL FOR $50,00 A NO SHOW FEE!!! Called Dayna the office manager and guess what. She never called me back either. It was kinda sad about the whole thing.

Please save yourself the frustration of dealing with this doctor's office and go somewhere else.  Specifics - I've never written a negative review in my life, let alone for a doctor, but I hoped to share an honest account of my experience in case it helps others. I chose Dr. Sibul due to his impressive credentials and positive reviews. At first, I liked Dr. Sibul, but over time the experience of being his patient took its toll on me. Specifically, he did not give clear instructions on plans of care (ex - how to take certain medications), was impossible to reach, and did not call back with important results. While he was generally pleasant during office visits, his disorganized behavior and lack of communication suggested that he did not care for me as a patient. The office has no MyChart and callbacks can take weeks, so it's very difficult to reach a nurse/doctor and get lab results or directions on care. Some of the nurses/staff were very unprofessional and rude. The office has paper thin walls, so you can basically hear every conversation - between staff, between doctors/patients, etc. which made it seem like there was no privacy. The staff was unhelpful in the sense that you constantly had to be on top of them to get things done. Often, things would fall through the cracks, like referrals for procedures that were never sent or issues with insurance due to mistakes from the doctor's office.  I take no pleasure in writing this review because I really respect health care workers. Yet, truly, I cried many tears due to this office. My only hope in writing this review is that it helps others receive the care they deserve. Being sick or pregnant is challenging enough without the added stress of dealing with this nonsense.

Not to mention he took excellent care of me during my high risk pregnancy and safely delivered my daughter...three months early!! (I was at his office for my six-month checkup and he determined that I needed to be admitted right away.) He closely monitored my condition and eventually arranged the surgery. It was an emotional time for me and my family, yet he calmed our fears and all was well. My daughter is 15 now! He shows concern and compassion for his patients, and also gives great advice. I dread the day that he says he's retiring because I can't imagine seeing anyone else.

Our daughter was born a month early and my husband and I truly believe she's here today safely because of Dr. Preskill. We truly believe he saved her life and for that we are forever grateful. Even tho my labor was a scary situation because of the well being of my daughter, it ended up being an amazing experience. To find a doctor who you can completely trust with your unborn child's life is hard especially being a fairly new patient. From the moment I first walked into the office, I was greeted by the nicest staff ever and a kind doctor who made me feel comfortable asking the one million questions a mama to be has. If you call the corporate office number, if you can even find it, they can't help you because they are a different office. Midwest Center means nothing other than a common name, like going to a Shell gas station, one has nothing to do with another. Took me multiple requests, over a period of more than 3 years to get my medical records transferred to my new doctor, which were finally transferred as of this year, 2025. Good Lord. Sep 9, 2022Previous review After being a patient in this practice, long before it became MCWHC, like two decades long, my previous doctors retired, one after the other. Since the changes in doctors in this office, that for me began this year, it was a nightmare to get an appointment, no one seemed to know who was where and when. Had a procedure scheduled for March and received a call 3 days prior regarding the meds and was told that the procedure needed to be pre-paid, even though I have very good insurance. Was 'allowed' to make arrangements since I hadn't been notified and providing that I pay a portion up front. Subsequent billing to my insurance company was submitted with my name reading two different ways and insurance company processed the claims as two different people with two different deductibles. While in direct contact with the billing department, it took me 4 months to get it straight with the insurance company. All along, I continued to make monthly payments since I didn't originally know where the fault lay. Once I discovered it was the bill submissions that caused the errors and delay in payment, the claims were corrected by the insurance company. The very same day that I receive the corrected statement from insurance, I received a voice mail that I was being sent to collection. I returned the call and told them to do whatever they felt was necessary. Not one time did I receive an apology for the months of agony dealing with the insurance company that had to go through every single claim from every single provider this year to resolve the issue. The billing department of MCWHC further claimed that I had not made a payment since March when, in fact, I had paid over $800 while all of this was happening. After receiving nonsense responses from billing, telling me where to look on their website but in no way providing confirmation of my payments, I finally began sending emails directly to Dr. Clear to no avail. My emails have gone completely ignored. Last communication I had with her was that she was going to reach out to my oncology gyne for a consult and get back to me, that's right, oncology. Never heard another word. Maybe I am dying, I guess I won't know from Dr. Clear. The last email I sent to Dr. Clear, I made it clear that no response is a response. After reading all of the complaints here on Yelp, I could not agree more with the rudeness of the billing office and the office staff. They could care less about your health, they are all in for the money. I told Dr. Clear that it is unfortunate that she and others came into a practice that was built long and hard by others that they are destroying day by day. Very sad. Recently at my annual appointment I was waiting to use the restroom which faces the support staff cubicles. The wait was rather long as there is only one restroom. I had the "privilege" of overhearing how they feel about their clients. "Oh, I hate the perimenopause ones- IM FAT AND HAVE SYMPTOMS BUT I DONT WANT TO GO ON MEDICATION AND GAIN MORE WEIGHT". "THE NEWBIE GYNES ARE SO CUTE WITH THEIR STIs." I was stunned. I went to the restroom, came out, and Dr. Plawyer's nurse was waiting for me. I told her of the incident and she said "I'm sorry to hear that" and then went over my med list and medical history while I'm on the verge of tears. I finally stood up and said "I'm leaving." I did receive a voicemail apologizing and saying it was addressed. However, as a nurse for the past 10 years I understand on a deeper level that the comfort they felt talking about patients at work indicates a culture of not respecting their patients. When we go to the doc we want to feel heard, be taken seriously, and be met with empathy and assistance. I no longer believe this happens at this clinic. Find a clinic that doesn't mock their patients.
