Conveniently located before the border into the US, many liquors are clearly labeled if made in Canada. When entering and leaving, be sure to wait for the proper gates to open and close, and there is only one way to go in and out. As another reviewer said, make sure you know your license plate number too. Staff was able to tell me that if I buy enough alcohol that paperwork would be filled and I would be charged extra at the border is all, but no real limits seem to be present otherwise. I am sure if you buy a huge quantity you may need to be able to briefly explain yourself such as if you have a detailed list ready of who you want to give to and why. Staff is very helpful about which liquors have stronger flavor and which have stronger liquor. This is a basic concept that I feel has gone over many others' heads because they just want to sell me something based on some potentially correct science that may be entirely useless for my taste buds. The variety is here if you want that last minute mainstream grab or you get something here that may be harder for you to get elsewhere. There are several varieties of maple liquor. If you love sweeter tasting and a pretty looking leaf bottle and are from the US, get what I got. A fun duty free to stop at before crossing the Canadian border. There is a giant stuffed bear that my daughter is in love with. The staff is super friendly and there are lots of cute souvenirs that are inexpensive outside of the wides-selection of alcohol. We also appreciate the family bathroom which makes it a little easier to change the little one in a dedicated (albeit small) space. Always a good rest stop before crossing the border. read more

Lovely store!! Don't be intimidated, drop in get a few goodies, roll on through. I finally stopped here mostly to use the bathroom like Mariah also said, but I also got some wine and liquore and chocolate! It was great pricing, they had the cleanest bathrooms ever and a great candy selection. Some cute souvineers too. Staff was so kind and answered my questions! I really enjoyed coming here before going back to the states. I orginally came here to use the bathroom , but I ended up buying some beers. Haha. The staff greet you with smiles and they are so helpful. The bathroom is SUPER FANCY. They have faucets I have never seen in my life. And the toilet closes and opens by itself. So cool . ( I'm a nerd) . I loved it. The store has a lot of Canadian items for you to purchase for family or your friends. They even have a kids section called "The Kid Zone" to the left once you enter. You will probably miss it. The prices are very reasonable. It duty free booze ! Staff is super friendly and helpful, helped us find a great maple sugar cookie gift set. Their bathroom apparently won an award for one of the "Best Bathrooms in 2015". I didn't know that there was even an award for that! It has cool ceiling tiling, felt like it should be for a fancy hotel rather than a duty free shop. Their liquors are really discounted! Compared to what we pay in NY, everything was about 25 to 35% off! Huge. Stocked up on as much alcohol as we could, and even if you go over, the duty fee is nominal at the customs compared the markup you pay in stores in the US. This is the best duty free shop I have ever visited. The washrooms are AMAZING! You wouldn't think a duty free shop would have a spectacular washroom but this one does.
